It went well and the job was well done. the warranty was a very good feature of this project and Andy always came every year to check on the paint job. We are very satisfied.

They took their time and did it right as opposed to doing it fast.

Spectrum was at our home for little over a week. They started with our large living room and made their way to the basement. The basement had a large area with three different colors which included one for the downstairs bathroom. They finished with the master bath, master bedroom, and dining room. As I mentioned above, the painting crew was punctual, friendly, customer oriented, and attentive to our needs throughout the experience. I would recommend this company to a friend.

It Went very well, they painted while I was out of town. Everything was taken care of from moving the furniture to prep, to painting and putting the furniture back in place. From start to finish a great experience. They even replaced the batteries in my smoke detectors and repaired the lock on my door due a an issue with locking up the house while I was gone. I got home and everything was in place the interior and exterior was painted and it looked great. Very trustworthy honest dependable service company and Andy was very attentive to our needs and helped us choose the right colors. Exterior paint matched perfectly. Just fabulous.

By doing the work sooner rather than later they were able to save us about 50% on the cost.  They did a great job.

My wife and I had Spectrum Painting prep and paint the walls of the entry way of our home.  This is a 2 story foyer which to us is no small feat.  The guys from Spectrum were very punctual, professional and meticulous.  My wife stated that she felt comfortable from the first moment that she met the team from Spectrum Painting.  This was a relief as I had to be out of the house while my wife works from home most days.  The job was done on time and really exceeded our expectations.   I would highly recommend Spectrum Painting to everyone. 

We have used Andy for years. He has stained our shakes to our cedar shake house. He did a fabulous job. He also has painted several rooms inside and outside our house. Everything they do, they put their best into it. We have been VERY pleased with every project. I highly recommend them for any project you may need. You won't be disappointed!

Excellent & professionally done! When Andy came over to provide an estimate, he spent a lot of time going over all
the work to be done. He did not seem to be rushed at all and was able to offer some suggestions for a couple of issues
we had. When we had some new skylights installed, we used a different manufacturer than the original. They did not fit the
same surroundings, and we ended up with quite a gap around the new skylights on the interior (our ceiling is stained wood). Andy came up with a nice trim fit that now looks like it came as part of the new skylight. Great work on the stain finish as well. What a great crew he has working with him - very conscientious, polite and respectful. They bend over backwards to make sure you are satisfied with their work. Our house was built in the early 1980's and that tells you how old our interior wood trim is. We had some new windows installed that were clad on the outside & unfinished wood on the inside. This new wood needed to be stained to match existing stained wood that is almost 30 years old. When walking through our house, I did not want it to look obvious that some of the windows were newer than the others by virtue of mismatched stain. Andy assured me that he could match the stain, but it would take a few trials to get it right, and he was not about to stop until I was happy. Well, he did not disappoint. He spent several days working on the right stain mixtures and techniques. His crew are very detailed and removed all the hardware necessary on the widows and masked off where needed. Everything was reassembled and put back in its proper place. Andy was not one of those guys who do all the talking, and then you don't see them again until it is time to collect the bill. He spent a lot of time working on the job and making sure everyone was on the same page. I am using him again to finish some more interior staining on a new sliding door. We are definitely calling him back as we continue to replace our old windows over the next few years. BTW - He also did a superb job matching exterior paint to the new Clad windows.

Our house is approximately 15yrs old and Andy was the original painter when we built the house and that paint job was perfect. He has always done an excellent job painting both inside and outside. He is very professional and easy to work with. Unfortunately there was substantial breakdown of the old stain and these surfaces required hand sanding  to remove the old stain to prep the surface for the new stain. This was an unseasonably hot summer so the hand sanding on the deck was an extra step that was particularly brutal. This was very time consuming and the job took a bit longer than originally quoted, but the results were wonderful and the extra time was well worth it. The porches and deck look like brand new and we could not be happier with the results. Andy is not the least expensive painter you will find, but you will definitely get what you pay for. He has very high standards for his work and takes great pride in his reputation. That is a rare trait these days. We would definitely use Spectrum Painting again for future work.

We worked with them on several different projects throughout 2011 and were repeatedly pleased with the work quality and professionalism.

They were always on time and I always knew what was coming. They were careful to take care of our property and respectful to my needs. They were great with the estimate and kept to it. I do not have anything negative that I could say about them. The owner and his crew were honest and professional and I would recommend them to anyone I came into contact.

 I was totally pleaseed with all the work throughout the project. 
1.   In each of the 3projects I have done with Spectrum Painting Corp, Andy Wagoner, the owner came out to do a detailed estimate.  He walked through with me to point out all the work that needed to be done in addition to the painting. 
2.  In a few days Andy returned with the estimate and walked me through it.  At that same time we worked on colors and paint types of which he is very up to date on new options.  We also scheduled the work with consideration of my schedule since I work from home and travel for work.
3.  On the scheduled day, Andy came out to introduce the team that would be working in my home and made sure that the set up of equipment was OK - being careful to avoid hazards for my family as best as possible. 
4.  He came out at the end of every phase of the project to inspect with me present.  He explained that the prepainting prep work would take longer than the painting itself, and was the key to quality results. 
5. Because it was a big job that took weeks, the team cleaned up thoroughly every weekend and left the house liveable for us.
5.  At the end we did a walk throughand he sent one team member back to do the final touch ups and clean ups before sending the invoice. 

We repainted most of the first floor and several rooms on the second floor.  Choosing a paint color proved to be the most challenging aspect of this job.  A decorator had selected a color but when it was up on the wall it didn't look good at all!  Andy was very patient with me as we tried sample after sample after sample.  He even had the "colorist" from the paint store come to the house !  I was never rushed into making a decision and am very pleased with the final results. 

The deck was cleaned , resealed and furniture was put back nicely.  No problems at all.

The exterior of the house was painted several years ago.  Andy just matched the colors that we already had.  Today it still looks nice and shows no signs of chipping or fading. 

Andy and his crew are punctual and accommodating.  They put plastic on all the furniture and clean up thoroughly when they leave.  All of my extra paint cans are neatly organized in the corner of my furnace room in the basement.

The paper in the dining room just fell off the wall which was great.  On the other hand, the paper in the kitchen had to be torn off in small pieces.  Spectrum's workers sprayed and peeled , sprayed and peeled for several days with minimal damage to the walls.  They were polite, professional and conscientious.

I would hire Spectrum Painting again in a heartbeat, and have already referred them to multiple friends.  Andy is someone I trust implicitly to do exceptional work and take good care of my home.  Spectrum is not for those searching for bargain pricing, but the work and peace of mind are well worth the money.

As you can see from the explanation of work, it was an involved project that took some time to complete.  We couldn't be happier with the end result.  We've used Spectrum Painting ever since we had our house built in 1992.  They are the only painters we'll use.  We feel comfortable with them in our house when we're not around and they do GREAT work.  Very professional.

Awesome!! Andrew was very professional. The process was simple. Andrew let me know all of my options (color wise) and explained to me what was being done and why he uses the products he uses. I came home to clear details in how to maintain my deck while it is in the "drying" process as well as how to maintain it once it was dry. Andrew even followed up with me to ensure I was happy with the finished work. He also made some recommendations for the deck (a few boards needing to be replaced) and sent me an e-mail detailing what I needed to pick up from Lowes. I will use Spectrum Painting in the future as well as recommend to others.

Overall, everything was excellent. I couldn't have asked for anything better. They had a written contract with a guarantee stating that in 2 years they will come back for free to make sure everything is still okay. They were referred to us highly by another one of our neighbors. The owner went to great lenghths to make sure the paint matched ahead of time, and the crew who we had were all business. It was extremely hot when they were working on the project, so they went above and beyond the call of duty. Afterwards, tehy met with me to see how it went and asked if I had any special requests. I asked about some clean up, and he had it finished before i got home that day. Another company policy is that they follow up a couple months later to see how everything was holding up. They were very careful around the house and cleaned up afterwards. Andy, the owner, was on site most of the time and even participated in some of the work which was exceptional. We are extremely happy with the results. They used great paint and I would highly ercomend this company! We will probably have them back for interior painting when we are ready to get that completed.

Our experience with Andy, the owner of Spectrum Painting, and the crew was outstanding from start to finish.  Each member of the crew was pleasant, polite, respectful, worked hard and knew what they were doing.  My husband and I were both amazed with the time and attention paid to the smallest details.  The job site was left neat at the end of each day with all of the ladders and equipment neatly and discretely stored at the side of the house.  Andy was wonderful about communicating on the process and progress throughout the entire job.  Both the house and decks look perfect when they were finished.  We cannot think of a thing Spectrum Painting could have done better or differently.   Wish all contractors had Andy's work ethic and commitment to customer service.
