They seem like the nicest windows out of all the estimates I got. But 4 times as expensive. Crazy! I will not pay almost $20,000 for windows when the other estimates where substantially less. He did the thing where he held up a heat lamp first against my currant window and then against his window sample and I felt like it was just a scare tactic. I couldn't see what he was doing on the otherside of the heat lamp, was there a switch that controlled the heat level. I'm not saying he did anything unethical but that was a big turn off for me.

"We appreciate your feedback. 1. The pricing we give when at the home is the same for all customers. There is a retail price which is good for one year. Then there is the sale price (this is the current offer that is being advertised) and finally there is an additional discount available for those homeowners that already have made up there minds and want to buy Renewal by Andersen products when we visit them. 2. The final decision is completely up to you. Many people choose to take the additional discount while others don't. As for the heat lamp. This is not a magic trick and is by no means deceptive. It is a 100% fair and accurate measurement of the efficiency of glass. It is used by Renewal by Andersen offices throughout the country and many other manufacturers as well. Our representatives skill at using may vary however it is an honest presentation. The unit does not have ANY switches to control readings. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best in your window shopping."

Kurt came out and measured my windows. told me to go to the show room. he did not leave any brochures etc. All the other window companies show me samples etc. I will not be .going with this company.

"According to the notes in our system the representative that came to your home wrote "customer would like to visit the showroom in order to view more of the product". At this time the representative no longer works for us as he has moved to Wisconsin. If you care to have a representative visit you at your home please let us know and we will oblige."

"We are sorry for your experience. Our representatives are not allowed to email prices as there are so many moving parts to our pricing we rather take the time to explain to the homeowner in person exactly what is in the quote and more importantly what is not. it is our experience that what precipitates any customer dissatisfaction is miscommunication or misunderstanding on the work to be done. Because of this we like to take the time to explain what it is they are getting and review all details of the custom made product. There are over 21 color combinations alone plus hardware, screen and more options. Therefore we do not want to simply email something to a homeowner. When we are in the home we give prices that are good for one year as well as pricing that is offered under any active promotion that the company is running at that time. It is always the customers decision to do business at their convenience. The representative that came to your home was a full time employee. All of our representatives are employees of the company. I am unaware of the vehicle he was driving however ALL of our staff are paid full time employees. Again, I apologize if your experience did not meet your expectation."

We are quite satisfied with them. The windows are wonderful. They went above-and-beyond. They were here one day and it started raining and I thought, oh my gosh, I am going to be without windows the rest of the day but they were just as efficient taking the old windows off as they were putting the new windows on there. The price was pretty much in line with the other people. The quality is very good. They were punctual, they were here when they said they would be here, they called us beforehand. They were very professional and they cleaned everything up and everything was really good.

Everything is fine. This was the second time that we used them and they do fine. The first time they replaced all of the windows on the lower floor and then this time they replaced all of the windows and sliding glass doors on the upper floor. They have always been on time, quick at it and did a nice job. I think they are great. I have no complaints with them at all. I would recommend them.

I didn't have a great experience, I had a workman who weren't doing a good job but I don't know that it's the company overall, they did try to rectify it,that my opinion is not of the highest quality,but I don't have anything to compare it to. I would not probably use them in the future.
