He tried to solve the problem in many different ways.  When one thing didn't work, he quickly moved to another possible solution.  The drain is flowing properly which hasn't been the case for years despite many other plumbers working to solve this problem.  It has always been a slow drain as long as we have lived in this house.  It finally just stopped and was completely clogged.  Not only is it flowing now, but it is draining at a normal speed.  I will definitely call them with any other plumbing problems.

We'd called quite a few different people and he was the only one that would give me a quote over the phone, even though it was a very simple problem, and wanted to charge me a service fee. He was very prompt, very neat, very clean, very polite, and even very good with my dog, it was very refreshing!  He was great.  I was very, very pleasantly surprised!

They're really good. The furnace wasn't working right and they found something that was wrong and they were really good about it and they came back. We need a couple of days and we gave it to replace it. It's all good. I didn't have any more trouble at all. One company told me that I needed to replace everything. But then I called these people to check on it, to make sure, and they said I didn't need to replace anything. It was just a switch that went out. I was really satisfied with them. They were very nice and very professional. I just felt like they were honest. I'm keeping them.

At the time that I called them for service, my intention was to buy an Angie's List deal for a drain cleaning for $99. I thought that our floor drain was backed up and that was what the water on our basement floor was from. When the technician, Ray, took a look at our equipment in the basement, he discovered that our water heater was actually the source of the water. He informed me that I needed a new water heater. I apologized for my kids' toys being in the way. I explained that we had four kids. He called me an "amateur" because he had more children that I do. He showed me a paper with the costs of the different heaters. A 50 gallon water heater was $1200 installed. It was an additional $200 to replace my expansion tank.  My regular plumber was out of town. He charges $600 for a new water heater. I didn't know what to do because I knew the price was extremely inflated. I could not get a hold of my husband at work to get his opinion. I told Ray to wait for a few minutes so I could call the Mowery office to ask for a discount. Ray literally stood at the edge of my kitchen learing over my shoulder as I made a phone call. It was creepy. I truly felt that he was trying to intimidate me. Ray informed me that I better hurry up because it was a Friday and I wouldn't be able to get another company out to fix it before the weekend.  I asked the guy in the office if I could get the discount on my water heater which was the equivalent of their service plan discount. I didn't want the service plan because I have a regular plumber. It was about a $130 discount. The guy in the office said he would give me the discount. As soon as I hung up, I saw Ray get on the phone in his truck. I could tell he was not happy. A few minutes later the guy in the office called me back and told me he could not give me the discount. Ray came back in and asked me what I wanted to do. I finally decided to have him replace the water heater since I didn't know what else to do. After he had started working I went down into the basement and told him to skip the expansion tank. I just couldn't see spending $1400 for a new water heater. He was mad. I left because I didn't want to deal with him.  He spent a couple of hours replacing the water heater. A new water heater is approximately $400-$500. They charged me around $250 an hour to install the water heater. When Ray finished he brought me the bill. Even though he had quoted me $1200 installed, the bill was for $1376. There were all kinds of extra charges tacked on. I asked him why. He talked down to me in an extremely rude and condescending way. He talked to me as if he was the parent and I was a small child. I have never in my life dealt with a service person who was so rude and inappropriate. I called the office again and they reduced the bill to $1200. This was the worst service experience I have ever had. I wouldn't use Mowery again if they were the last plumber on earth. I talked to my plumber when he returned to town. I asked him why the service person would be so adamant about me not receiving a discount. I asked why he would be so mad when I told him I didn't want to get the expansion tank. He informed me that PLUMBERS MAKE COMMISSION!!! PLUMBERS LITERALLY MAKE MORE PROFIT IF THEY FIX MORE THINGS AND INCREASE YOUR PRICE! This is absolutely disturbing to me. Now his behavior makes sense.

The experience went well. There was a one day delay because Angie’s List did not send them the email confirming that we had purchased the service. They were very friendly and willing to cut the price.

Ray showed up, on time, as the earlier phone called said. That alone surprised me.  He did an excellent job, which, wasn't easy since the drain problem was a tough one.

I would recommend this company for any plumbing problem.  Living in a 100 year old house in the Meridian Kessler area, I've had 4 different plumbing companies and Ray will be the only one I'll bring back.  The only one that showed up clean, was personable and knew and checked out the situation prior to starting the clean out.

I DID WAIT UNTIL SUNDAY TO CONTACT MORE PLUMBERS AND WROTE WHAT PHIL SAID I NEEDED TO FIX THE BLOCKED SEWER.NICE MAN PHIL WAS VERY CLEAR AS TO WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. IT WENT INTO VERY LATE HOURS ON SATURDAY AND HE WAS TIRED AND I WAS VERY TIRED. 
PROBLEM CAUSED BY COTTONELLE WIPES. THEY SHOULD NOT BE FLUSHED.

They came out around midnight for emergency service on my broken furnace. He was able to diagnose the problem as the motor, which he told me was still under warranty. The next day he was able to find the right piece that I needed, and came back to install it and get the furnace up and running again. Since the part was still under warranty, I only had to pay for the labor.

They charge too much.  They were here two hours and charged me $341, which comes to $170.50 an hour.  Beware of using this company. 

The technician called ahead and showed up at the appointment as scheduled. He was very friendly and knowledgable. I had a great experience and will definitely call Mowery again for my HVAC needs in the future.

The workers were very diligent and good. The owner came out to make sure that everything was okay. He had to work with us to make sure we were pleased.

Ray did a great job unclogging the drain. He was very friendly and informed me on what issue was. He also gave me good suggestions on how to prevent clogs in the future. I would schedule him again for service.
