Brownsburg Tree Care LLC

I called them back in June and they provided a quote fairly quickly; however instead of making an appointment like they said they would, they came out when I was at work and stuck the quote under my door, so I didn't have a chance to show them what I wanted trimmed or to ask any questions. I called the office after receiving the quote to ask some questions. I spoke with Kathy and said I would like the work done but wanted to meet with them before they got started. I asked when they thought they would be out and she told me a few weeks and I marked my calendar for when I should follow up if I hadn't heard anything. I didn't hear anything and have called their office several times, always reaching voice mail - never a live person. I left a couple messages and never received a call back. This is a highly disappointing experience with a supposedly "A" company. If you don't want the work, just say so. If there's a reason you can never answer the phone, explain that on your voice mail.

This family company is a top notch, professional outfit with the state of the art equipment to carry out large jobs quickly and efficiently. Everyone was very friendly and worked hard as a team on a very hot 94 degree day. They went the extra mile to make sure the job was completed beyond my expectations.

It went very well. They were very professional and friendly. Their pricing was reasonable. I'd consider using them, however, their lead time was a little longer than what I'd prefer.

Eric came out to give us an estimate. He told us that he was already scheduled out for 2 to 3 weeks. We had concerns over which trees to remove so he tagged them in different colors so that he could write up the bid accordingly. He came out with his team in the time frame that he had originally told us. (he was originally scheduled for a Wed. but his wife called to let me know that they would need to push it back a day.) His crew got right to work they were extremely careful to not harm our plants. They were also extremely considerate. They worked quickly and cleaned up as they went. Other than missing a few trees, our property was in the same condition before and after Eric's team did their work. I would use them again and would recommend them to any of my neighbors. Actually, one of my neighbors had him take down a dead tree in her yard while he was working in our yard.

They are excellent and they do wonderful job. We have recommended them to several people who have used them and they are also very pleased. They are very friendly and extremely nice. My mother-in-law worked with them just two months ago and she was very impressed. Their price was less that everybody else and it was reasonable. They are professional, came in and did the work. They cleaned up after themselves. They went out of the way to make sure that everything was done right and nicely.

I thought that they were really professional. I called their office and the wife of the owner answered the phone and she made arrangements for us. The person came and gave me an estimate. I called them back the next day and asked them to do the work. The person showed up 2 days later and spent about an hour and a half injecting the trees. He did the work efficiently and I was very pleased. I had 2 estimates and their price was the lowest of all. They also gave me a 10 percent discount because I'm an Angie's List member.

I initially called Eric for help with a different tree which was missing some bark. He informed me that there was not alot he could do for a tree in its condition. We discussed future replacement and are looking at possibly getting a tree elsewhere in the yard. Eric then walked with me through the property looking at other trees and found an ash tree with 3 trunks and one extending over our house. We got an estimate on placing some cables to tie the trunks together and treat the tree for EAB. The crew arrived a few weeks later (I knew ahead of time it would be a while.) and began work on trimming the tree. Eric came to help with cable and injection of EAB treatment and I asked for an estimate on removing a stump not far from the tree they were working on. He gave me a great number and I asked when he would be able to do it. He ended up having the stump remover with him and they did it right then. I have two young children and Eric was great with talking to them and showing then what was going on. The yard looked cleaner when they left than it did when they arrived. My wife and I were pleased to find a family owned and run business locally which offers great service at a fair price. We will certainly be using their company again in the future.

Anyway, I called Brownsburg Tree Care and explained my situation. Kathy was very nice and while they couldn't work me into their schedule today she said she would call one of their colleagues that she trusted to see if they could. About 20 minutes later she called back and said her colleague would be in touch shortly. A little over an hour later my problem was solved and for about a third of what one of the big name tree services in Indy had quoted me while I was waiting for Kathy's call. So, thanks Brownsburg Tree Care. Your professionalism and quick help really made my day. I'll definitely keep you in mind for myself and references in the future.

Very professional and on time. As it turns out, my son's Boy Scout troop decided to take care of the tree as a service project. My neighbor even offered to let them use his burn pile for the branches so they can have a bonfire and weenie roast.

An absolutely wonderful experience. I chose Brownsburg Tree Care mainly because of their good reputation on Angie's List, but it didn't hurt that they gave me the lowest estimate for the work. Now I am happy to contribute my own accolades for Eric and his crew. They were punctual, polite, efficient, and thorough. My ash tree looks so much better than it did before - they raised the canopy of the tree and did an excellent job of pulling it away from my house and removing all its dead limbs. I'll also rest easier this year knowing that it is protected against the ash borer. I was also impressed with their job on the pine tree. Of course, the tree is gone, but so are all traces of the stump. They checked in with me about the honeysuckle midway through the job, wanting to know how much of it I wanted gone, and then pointed out other stray growth in that part of my yard that they could take care of. When I asked them to clear it all away, they certainly did. Thanks to their efforts, the honeysuckle now has several yards of clearance from the side of my house, whereas before it had overgrown the house by several feet. They also cleaned up my entire yard of all the brush and branches - it looks better now than it did before they came. I look forward to working with them for years to come - goodness knows that honeysuckle is going to be back!

Discovered a downed tree in our yard and called Brownsburg since they have done tree service for us in the past. Scheduling was a little harried. We had to call a few times to schedule an estimate which took almost two weeks. It would have only been a week, however, we had to re-schedule because the day we were to get our estimate they had to cancel because someone had a tree fall on their house. A very legitimate reason to cancel, however, it would have been great if we could have been re-scheduled first thing the next week. Once Eric was able to come out for the estimate we determined that we needed two large trees and some brush removed. They were able to squeeze us in the next day and the end result looks great. They also spend a lot of time cleaning up after themselves which is highly appreciated! They are very pleasant, professional and are reasonably priced. Scheduling seems to be a little difficult for them which I'm guessing is a result of the high volume of calls and not enough time in the day, but once they are on site they are great. I would definitely recommend this company.

On 4/20 I requested a quote via Angie's List Quick Connect to have someone come out and trim two trees, as well as an estimate to have a row of evergreens trimmed as well. At first, they were very responsive. I got an email on 4/21 from Kathy Loveland, stating that she would give me a call shortly to discuss setting up an estimate. Then the next day, 4/22, she sent me another email requesting my address and phone number and stated that Eric would be conducting estimates today (4/22) and if I would like she could schedule him to come by my place as well. I replied almost immediately with my address, phone number and asked them to please do come by today as it would work out very well with my schedule too. This was all going along so well, but then no one ever came by, we never received an estimate, and no message to explain anything. A few weeks later on 6/1 I called Kathy and left a message, and asked why we had never received an estimate. Kathy called me back and apologized, and we re-scheduled a new appointment for the estimate for 6/4. Well, 6/4 came and went and once again we received no estimate, and once again, we received no phone call, email or any kind of notification as to what had happened. Only when I called them today, 6/8, did I learn of the reason. And it was a legitimate reason too! There had been a bad storm in the area and Kathy explained that right before our estimate was going to take place, a customer had called and a tree had fallen on their property and needed assistance. Kathy called the estimator and had to pull him away right then. Nature happens, so no fault to anyone here; except that once again, we received no phone call or any kind of notification at all to explain why we still had no estimate. Kathy said that she had to call all the other customers and let them know, and thought she had called and left me a message too. I have since double checked that I definitely did not receive a message. I told Kathy that I'd prefer to find someone else.

Flawless. Easy. Excellent contractor.

They came and removed 3 large trees from my yard as well as trimming 4 other trees. They did a wonderful job and cleaned up their mess. I will be using their service in the future. I used the coupons from the Angie's list "BIG DEAL". Thanks Angie's List

They were polite and professional. It's a family thing, so the wife answers the phone and then the husband comes out. It's very family-oriented, which is nice. They aren't a big corporation or anything.

I have been very pleased with them. They are very professional. I think they gave me a very fair estimate. They made sure that they ground down the tree's root deep enough that I could plant another tree there. They cleaned up after themselves exceptionally well. They did a very good job. They were very responsive. I actually called for an estimate and they came out the next day to give me an estimate. I would definitely use them in the future too.

I called Kathy at Brownsburg for an estimate to have 2 trees and 12 bushes/shrubs removed from my yard. They set up an appointment and came out to take a look. A written estimate was left for me to review when I returned home. I called and scheduled and appointment to have the 2 stumps removed and they did a great job. Everything was very easy and it looks like I should be able to plant grass seed in the early spring when i aerate the yard.

Great cleanup from the tree removal. They were very good to work with and responsive to phone calls. I did expect more of the undergrowth to be removed and I thought there price was a little high. When I get ready to remove the third tree I may price shop.

The did excellent work and excellent clean up. They exceeded my expectations. They were super. They were on time, very professional and I can always count on them to do the work correctly. I've recommended this company to many of my neighbors for tree service.

Scheduled the work to meet our needs, arrived when promised and were very efficient in doing the work. Had to get rid of a hornets nest I thought I had taken care of and didn't complain at all. Had the equipment to do the job quickly and properly and then some. They definitely can handle bigger tasks than I needed. They were quick and professional and neat. I would use them again and would definitley recommend them to others.

We had a small tree in our back yard that has slowly been consumed by blight. We called Brownsburg Tree Care on a Thursday and they came out on Saturday to provide an estimate of $125 to remove the tree, take away all of the debris, and grind out the stump in case we would like to re-plant. Eric was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Since ours was a relatively small job, he commented that he may be able to make it out first of that following week to take care of it. Not only did he work us in quickly, he and his crew showed up at 7:30 that Monday morning, and was done in about 45 minutes. You could not even tell anyone had been there and they did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend these guys for any job involving trees.

We were very impressed with the arborist. We have got some other stuff going on and haven?t got around calling him back, but we intend to do so. He gave us all kinds of options of taking care of our large trees in our backyard. He seemed to know what he was talking about. I think he was reasonably priced. We had another estimate from another person and I didn?t like that at all. The price was probably pretty much the same, but the other guy didn?t seem to know what he was talking about. I didn?t like him. However, Eric from Brownsburg Tree Care was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We had somebody else working on our skylight and that guy stopped and asked him questions. Our next door neighbors too came and asked him questions, but he was very patient as well as thorough. He was a certified arborist. It?s hard to find a tree service that doesn?t just come down and remove trees. There is always a possibility that they won?t be saved. One of them is an ash tree and emerald ash borer is devastating to the ash population. He seemed to be attracting a following while he was here. There were people who wanted to ask him questions about their trees and he ended up giving two other quotes to others while he was here. So I hope it was well worth his time and I need to call him to schedule the work to be done. I am on a medical leave now and I need to get the work done before I get back to work. So it?s a timing issue and not an issue with his competence. My husband was very impressed with him and it?s hard to please him. I always get more than one quote on anything just to make sure and Eric had outshone the other guy from whom I got a quote. It was a matter of personality and personal competency. Brownsburg Tree Care is a small operation and it?s local. I like dealing with a local company. The guy to whom Eric gave a quote to who was doing some work over here was from Greenfield. He had one blue spruce tree that needed to be sprayed. So Eric told him that he couldn?t afford to go to Greenfield just to spray one blue spruce tree. He told that guy to do it himself. He gave him a solution for his problem, but he couldn?t make any money driving all the way to Greenfield from Brownsburg to spray one tree. He didn?t try to jeopardize his profit margin and take his own time to do that. He was helpful without picking the job. He also gave us options to do it ourselves, but my husband didn?t want to do it. I will certainly use the services of Brownsburg Tree Care in the future.

I had an awesome experience with them. They took out an especially tricky tree overhanging water. They are super responsive and very fair. Very good to work with.

They are fantastic and do great work. Their clean up is very good. I recommend others call them, we've called them again to come out this week for more work. We found them on Angie's List.

His service could not be better. He was wonderful. The last time he came, I was out of my house. I could barely tell that he had been there, except that the work had been done. He easy to deal with and good with clean-up. He left no trace behind except the blank places where the stumps were. I'm sticking with him, I think.
