He was hard to get ahold of and when I did it would take weeks to get him to my house. I feel like he over charged me for both the lamps he replaced but he is the only service provider who comes to my house. This last time he was horrible, he came and was at my house for maybe 10 min to see what the problem. He then sat around to chat for maybe 30 min, and said inappropriate things such as "Does your boyfriend know how pretty you are". He then charged me $94 (service call $60 labor $30 then taxes) and made the tv actually worse. He told me to fix it would cost another $200-$250 so I asked what part I needed and found it on e-bay for $84. I felt like he ripped me off. $94 down the drain. THEN on top of that he didn't cash my check for almost two months and screwed up my bank account. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL
Description of Work: He has installed a couple of lamps in my projection tv over the last couple of years, and came this most recent time to install a color wheel, that never happened.

Looked at TV. told he could find the part and fix it but waited 2 weeks with no word. Called again and said would be out that week and have never heard from again. This has happened to us 2 x . This guy is good at what he does if you can get him to do it. and the only home tv service person I know of.
Description of Work: came out to look at big screen TV. was told be able to fix it and would get right back to us, but have not heard anything!

I would not recommend this guy to anyone. He's a crook!
Description of Work: I would not recommend this guy to ANYONE. I called him up to have him come to my apartment to see what was wrong with my projector TV. When he got to my apartment, I asked him if he would be able to fix my TV today and he responded with, "Yeah, absolutely." After he took apart my TV, which took no more than 30 minutes, he proceeded to tell me that he wouldn't be able to help me because my TV needed a blue drive and some other crap. Both of the items that I "needed" that he did not have, we're well over $300. So basically, I paid the guy $95 for 30 minutes of work to tell me that he can't fix my television. DON'T GO TO HIM!!!

I called the business and requested my television be repaired. I arrived at the business which was in a run down building in Bloomington. There were televisions everywhere to the point where it made it difficult to move around in the business. I explained to the man that my television wouldn't turn on one day. The television was bought just 10 months prior. The man stated he would look at it but I would have to pay a $45 deposit. I proceeded to give him my debit card, which he stated he did not except. He only accepted cash or check. I later paid him the deposit in cash. He stated he would take a look at the tv and get back to me within the week. I never heard from him. I then called him and he said that he would call me back that following Tuesday. He never called. I then waited a month to call him to give him time. He never contacted me. At this point it was a month and half from the time I dropped it off. I called and he never responded. I waited another two weeks.He kept giving me the run around. In January I told him that I wanted my tv back. He told me he would meet me at noon at the shop and he never showed. I had my boyfriend call and he said he would be there by 4 pm. We went there at 4 pm and he was very dismissive about my complaint. He showed me his computer where he had just started to look for parts for the tv and stated he couldn't find any because my tv had foreign parts. He acted as if this was the first day he had researched anything about the tv. I asked for my deposit back and he said that the deposit pays for the first hour of taking the tv apart and whatnot. The total time it took him to diagnose my television was 3 months in which I was the one who initiated getting the tv back at the 3 month mark. He was not helpful or respectful toward me.
