I have used Commercial Service for a number of years to service my old unit. My initial consultation with Joe Garman was very low key. Absolutely no sales pressure. He explained in detail what each system could accomplish and made suggestions based on the size of my house and how much I wanted to spend. He asked me questions re how "green" I wanted to be and based on my answers narrowed down my choices for me. They worked with me around my schedule for the actual installation date which was about ten days after the initial consultation.It could have been sooner but I wanted to get my skittish dogs into Day Care.The two technicians/installers arrived on time and completed the work much faster than I had anticipated. The did a very tidy install by using existing access/egress points and cleaned up thoroughly after them . I was walked through using the new thermostat - tech removed his shoes to come upstairs! Nice touchAll the old equipment was removed from my driveway. Company filled out the rebates I was getting from local electric and gas companies and took care of those for me. Very happy with the service I received. I would have no hesitation in recommending Commercial Service and have done so many times.

They did an ok job. They did call on a follow up. They wanted to replace a part that was a total cost of three hundred dollars. I ordered the part online for ten dollars and fixed it myself.

I have used Commercial Service for almost 30 years and over the decades they installed central AC in home #1, replaced a 22 year old heating/AC system in home #2 and a year ago replaced an 18 year old system (plus added a humidifier) to my current, and hopefully final home. Everyone from the person that answers the phone to the service technicians are professional and friendly. When I was having trouble with the humidifier, service calls were scheduled quickly and the technician was always punctual. Their name should be Customer Service -- they know how to do it right and I can't say enough good things about this company.

I have used them for the last 11 years for both heating and air conditioning. Their technicians are very professional. They are very clean and they wear little booties in the house. They are very prompt. When they say they are going to be there at a certain time, they are there around that time. They don’t give me a huge time frame like most contractors do. They told me that he would be here at 8.30 in the morning and he was here at 8.30. They have always been excellent. I have never had a problem. They are just wonderful.

I have used them before as well and my friend works there, so I used them again. I liked their promptness. They were quick to respond. I called them and they came the next day and it was not an emergency either. They were very courteous and thorough. I thought their prices were good as well. I was happy with what they did. I rate them high overall.

The people who handled scheduling the appointments were very professional and helpful.
The service technicians were on time, seemed very knowledgeable, and also seemed to enjoy and take pride in their work.
The first visit, for the checkup, the technician let me tag along, and explained different things to me as he was working. We only recently bought this house, so I was not familiar with the system, it's age, etc. I appreciated this very much. He also explained the maintenance program to me, and made me feel like I was well-informed in making a choice regarding signing up for it, without any sales pressure to do so.
The installation of the motor went quickly.
Overall this was a very good experience and I'm happy we have found a good company to depend on for our HVAC needs.

Company was very professional and easy to talk to. They would respond to emails at all hours, even late into the evening which I didn't expect. The quotes were emailed to me the next day after the in-house visit. They performed the work quickly and have always been a class act, even if I come to them with questions 2 years later. Their prices may be a little higher, but in my instance, they weren't much higher than the other companies (some of which never even returned my phone calls). You get what you pay for in this instance and they more than earned their pay. Will do business with them in the future without hesitation.

Commercial Service of Bloomington engineered, furnished, and installed my HVAC system consisting of a 3 - ton Trane XL20i unit and corresponding Trane air handler. Installation went very smoothly and the installers were extremely well qualified, satisfying my curiosity with sensible and intelligent explanations. Before actual delivery and still during the sales phase, the Service Manager and Sales personnel performed a detailed inspection of my house to assess the requirements and enable proper sizing of the required systems. Additional ducting was proposed and later provided at no extra cost to me. The equipment and services provided were in perfect agreement with the results of the assessment and resulting proposal. After the system was installed and adjusted, the installers provided training on using the automatic thermostat, filters, and other features of the new system. Before leaving, the installers cleaned up the places where work was performed and offered valuable advice on other services available from the manufacturer and Commercial Service. All forms for rebates and tax credits were provided and delivered in person to me as promised. Finally, I want to thank the Service Manager, Sales personnel and installers for a job well done. Dealing with this supplier and contractor was a most pleasant experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this company to any prospective buyer that wants good pricing, excellent support, good engineering practices, responsive, capable, and courteous personnel.

They were professional, prompt, responsive (even when emailing at 8PM, I'd receive an immediate response), and the overall best deal for quality/cost. They filed the Duke energy rebate and provided a complete packet for tax filing. Commercial Service also registered my system for me to make sure the warranty was taken care of. After replacing the system, I was looking for a company to install a tankless water heater and was thrilled to discover that Commercial Service was able to install the tankless, as well. So, today they are back out and almost done. The guys are incredibly nice, patient, prompt, and knowledgeable. Good to find a local company like this!

Very satisifed with the new furnance. We were told it was a very quiet unit and it is. You have to make the effort to hear it run. The new air conditioner runs more often that the old unit but it was explained that this makes these systems more efficient and that appears to be accurate. We also added approximately $1000.00 worth of insulation to help with the A/C. The plan to reconfigure the duct work seemed to be a good one but was cost prohibative. That would have placed the system at 10 percent of the homes appraised value and that didn't seem sensible.

"Commercial Service installed a 2 ton Trane XL16i two step Air Conditioner and a 60k btu Trane XV95 two stage, variable speed gas furnace. At the time, the homeowner inquired about increasing the capacity of the heating and cooling system. Commercial Service explained this could only be done if the duct size was increase because the duct was only sized for 800cfm (2 ton). An estimate was given to reconfigure some of the duct to help increase the capacity. The customer decided just to have the system installed and not have any ductwork modifications done. The systems heating and cooling capacities were kept the same. The system was installed on 7/19/2010. The homeowner called on 7/23/10 because the system was not reaching set point. The service manager visited the home on 7/23/10 and evaluated the system. The system was working properly and the blower speed was adjusted slower to allow for better cooling. A heat gain/heat loss calculation on the home determined the system is sized properly, but was unable to maintain set point because the outside dry bulb temperature was nearly 98 degrees. On 7/30/2010 the service manager called the homeowner to confirm that everything was cooling properly and the homeowner said everything was working well. An email received 8/3/2010 from the homeowner confirmed again that the system was working properly and the home was at set point.
