First let me say, I like John. He listens to your concerns, has good ideas, has competitive pricing, is willing to throw in extras at no additional costs, and has a courteous work crew. In the big picture, John and his crew -overall - did do fairly good work. However, when it comes to detail quality, there were areas that left me disappointed (e.g., unfinished items, insufficient skim coating which left obvious imperfections on walls, and many other issues, including insufficient clean up). Things happen on a job. I understand that, but collectively they came to be a lot of issues. The projected 3 week job took 5 1/2 weeks. (Note: Given the amount of work done, 5 plus weeks may not be unreasonable, but I was strongly assured that it could likely be done in 3 weeks - perhaps to get the job ???). Though I was told that once my job was started, my job would be the teams only focus, there nonetheless were several days that John was not here, and several days that the guys who were here, were only here for 2-3 hours. Response time to my calls and texts were extremely slow, and there were problems that emerged shortly after the job was done, that (though he said he would come take care of) he has still (now 3 ½ months later) not come back to address. I like John, and I believe he has good intentions, but I believe he is overextended with other commitments and tends to forget what he said he would do for you. Communication and failure to follow through on things is a huge frustration. It should not be the customer that has to constantly remind the service provider what was agreed upon. I waited a long time to write this review, in hopes that John would come back and follow through (so I wouldn?t have to report these criticisms). I believe he eventually will return to address, at least, a few of these issues. However, not being certain of when that will be, I felt that plenty of time had been given, and that it was time to write this review.
