Description of Work: Leaky roof causing ceiling damage to second story bedroom. Kevin came out at no charge to assess the problem and attempted to fix it with some caulking. It slowed the leak but did not fix the entire problem so he came back and fixed it at a reasonable cost. We had 2 other roofing "experts" come out prior to Kevin whom couldn't find the issue. One recommended we change our gutters which we did, but the problem persisted until Kevin fixed the real issue. Very professional, courteous, trustworthy, and obviously knows what he's doing. Would recommend him to anyone whom has roofing issues.

Description of Work: Very good response. When Kevin came, he was just as pleasant and efficient as others have described. He found the leak in the roof, took photos to show us, described the problem, and gave us a reasonable price for the work. He completed the repair to the roof very quickly. I had also asked for an estimate on gutter guards for the flat part of roof, which had none, and to replace the rest. He reported that the current gutter guards were not the best, but that removing them would be quite costly because of the way they're installed. He advised against it at this time. He showed us the product Hills would use for the flat roof gutters and gave us reasonable price for the installation plus stabilization of one section, which was sagging very slightly. We agreed to have it done, but not that day. Later the same day he called to report that the company would do the gutter covers the next day, since they would have someone in the area. I'll look forward to seeing them tomorrow!

Description of Work: Would recommend them highly for all of your roofing needs. They came out quickly after the call, did a full inspection, made recommendations with estimates, which I accepted, then were there within a few days to complete the work. Much, much better than the roofing company that installed the roof, but has no desire to do maintenance.

Description of Work: Hill Roofing put an end to a nightmare that I had been living with for 8 months. An odor had pervaded my entire house after mold remediation was done in my attic. No other members of my family could smell it........only me! Only me.....but smell it I did! After going down many wrong paths trying to figure out the problem, I finally decided that I would have to sell the house I had lived in for 35 years and leave all that was dear. I simply could not abide living with that smell. I decided to make one more phone call and thank God that I did. Kevin (heaven-sent) from Hills Roofing explained how, yes, indeed, I could be smelling the paint that was used to encapsulate the mold due to bad ventilation, etc. Anyway, to make a long story short, he came out and talked with my husband (who was rather resistant) and myself and explained what needed to be done. He suggested a complete job of ventilating the attic which was "woefully under ventilated." However, he was just so darn knowledgeable that we decided to replace the entire roof (actually 2 roofs) along with the peeling, boards, etc. or whatever the roof foundation is called. The owner, Mr. Hills, called to confirm everything, the workers who came out were more than efficient (entire job was done in under three days), but Kevin was "the best." I don't have words to say how wonderful he was, but thanks to his expertise and knowledge of roofing/mold remediation along with his professionalism, I truly have my life and my house back again. Their motto "remediate don't encapsulate" is most apropos, but if you do goof up and make the mistake we did, call Hills Roofing. The job they did was worth every penny and the reassurance that Kevin provided throughout the process was immeasurable. Thank you Hills Roofing!!!!!

Description of Work: Kevin responded very quickly to my call to patch a raccoon-chewed hole in my roof. He asked what color my shingles were before he came to give me a price, and was able to do the repair on the spot when he arrived because he had the material he needed on hand. Very happy with the result and his profesionalism.

Description of Work: They replaced some lose shingles on several areas on my roof. They also repaired a skylight on my roof that was leaking. They did a great job at a fair price.

Description of Work: The initial estimator came out quickly to do the quote. We have a very steep roof and he gave me a pretty high estimate to do the work, but based on the other positive reviews I decided to go with them. When the work was done, they determined their estimate was too high based on the amount of time it took to do the project and they charged my significantly less than they originally quoted. The only reason I am not giving them an A is that there was about an extra week of time between when they said they would be out and when they actually came out. I had to follow up with them to make sure they were still coming.

Description of Work: I needed an inspection done for insurance reasons. The person that performed the inspection explained the options available to me after he had shown me pictures he had taken of the skylights and flashing. The person who installed the skylights obviously knew what he was doing as the installation and cleanup was completed before I had expected. I'm sorry I can't remember the names of the guys who performed the inspection and installation of the skylights, you guys were great. We are thinking of have additional skylights installed & will defiantly consider Hills Roofing Inc. I would not hesitate in recommending them.

Description of Work: After calling 2 other Angie's roofers that never responded to my request on a small but troubling squirrel attack on the rear of my roof discovered by the gutter person, I was pleasantly surprised to have my call answered by a pleasant, LIVE person. He came out the very next day to assess my situation and gave an estimate to replace the damaged flashing and shingles and also install some "critter deterrent" strips...also to replace the chimney cap that was severely rusted and cut back some vines that were encroaching on the chimney. | |I received a call from the owner the very next day that they could work it in that afternoon, which they did. | |Nice people to deal with and very professionally and promptly handled. More good marks from me!
