Amazing! Our weekend guests were arriving early, and we had neither the time nor energy to have the complete, whole-house capret clearning we had originally scheduled. Patrick Manning arrived promptly, understood our plight, and was not at all adverse to providing the best services possible within our new parameters. Since Murphy's services are blessedly "ala carte," Patrick explained each service (pre-treat, steam, fabric protector, etc), and helped us evaluate what we could accomplish now. He was clear about the limitations of scaling down, but was honest about where we could do so and still achieve acceptable results. There was absolutely no pressured upselling, and as a result we actually did not scale back as far as we intended for this round. We were able to treat each of the downstairs rooms according to its individual need, applied all services to the stairs, skipped the minimally traficked 2nd floor, and were astounded at the results of minimal attention to our stained and soiled area rug. We were comfortable with our decisions, and Patrick gave us all the attention that he would have had we done all services for the whole house as we originally hoped to do. The results were equal to or exceeded other high-quality services we have used in the past, including Stanley Steemer, but much more economical and taylored to current needs. I will use Murphy's again in a heartbeat, and will request Patrick Manning as my provider. We will absolutely have them for a full-service, whole-house visit in the next year, and I highly recommend them.

We had a flood in our basement. We had about 2 inches of standing water. We selected Murphy's because they were able to come out the same day and we were concerned about mold. They were on time and did a good evaluation. However once they gave us the estimate of service my husband negotiated the price down by agreeing to handle putting our basement back together. The person quickly began working, He sanitized the tile floor, removed all of the baseboards and sanitized them, removed 2 (rugs) for off site sanitation and left 6 blowers in place. Once they returned to pick-up the blowers and return our two rugs is when we noticed several things. We noticed that a lot of baseboards were damaged(broken) and could not be used and our humidifier casing that is attached to our furnace was broken and now needs to be replaced We called the company to let them know about the baseboards and humidifier and basically they told us they would not do anything to compensate us for the damage they caused. They tried to blame the broken casing on the humidifier age and that it is standard that baseboards would be broken through this process. However at no time did they inform us of anything that was broken after it occurred nor did they informed us of this possibility prior to work been completed. I find it hard to believe that our casing decided to fall apart because someone turned it off. I am very disappointed in the customer service and response to our concerns
