Our disposal wasn't working so I called a few plumbers and the store where I purchased it.  Lucke Plumbing gave us an appointment within days and the work was done within an hour, first thing in the morning.

Toilet is fixed!

This is an extremely creative, customer friendly  company. They regularly rod my sewer, and created a special pipe tool to use in a difficult catch basis to make it work, at no extra charge. Yesterday they solved a problem we have been having for years in trying to fit a water filter in a special order bathroom sink. While doing that at the last minute (they were here for something else) they took the time to run down to the hardware store to make sure they had the correct parts, at no extra charge. They are always on time, invariably helpful, reasonably priced, and go the extra mile.

update on review:  the Lucke Plumbing office contacted me to arrange an appointment. Mr. Sieber arrived promptly, replaced the thermostat without charge, answered questions on some another matter that had arisen, and generally acted with the professionalism, responsibility, and competence I had anticipated from his initial visit during January and others' reviews.

The reasons for his initial delay in response were, in fact, unrelated to the purpose of my call or any attempt to evade responsibility, which I appreciate.  I have requested an estimate for the pipe repair.

initial review:  This situation is somewhat complicated, and also disappointing.  Scott Sieber of Lucke Plumbing, while here for an estimate on repairing a leaky radiator pipe, suggested ? and made ? some small changes (without charge) to the heating system, which was gracious on his part.  However, as I later realized that his modifications would increase pressure in the system and thus perhaps exacerbate the leak, I asked him to undo the changes; he did so two days later.  Unforturnately, in the process, he broke the thermostat; it allows only one setting but no possibility to accommodate warmer weather.  
I knew his company was experiencing many demands from customers with serious heating problems, so did not pursue the matter during the prolonged very cold winter.  Over the past several weeks (since regular periods of warmer weather began), I?ve phoned the office at least three times. I was initially planning to discuss both the thermostat and the possibility of their repairing the leaky pipe.  Unfortunately, Mr. Sieber has not returned any calls.  I am disappointed by the complete lack of response, and now inclined simply to think that the company should replace the thermostat or cover the cost of another company?s doing so.

These guys are great! They are my go to Plumbers. Responsive, respectful, knowledgeable, quality work at a great price.
The short of it is that I called and they had a repair team present within 45 minutes. Before this team came out, Bob came out to make sure water was shut off and assess the damage. The team was able to fix the issue within 20 minutes.

No response to 2 Angie's List messages, one on 8/29/13 and second on 10/3/13. Also no reply to web contact form submitted via company web site on 10/7/13.

Excellent, friendly service; explained everything and told me how to avoid clogged drains in future.

They did a good job and were responsive as well as quick.  They came and were able to fix my problem.

They did a fast, professional job of every thing at a reasonable price.

We just purchased our home a few months ago and the sump system was completely new to me.  Dave from Lucke Plumbing didn't mind me hanging around while he diagnosed the problem.  He showed me how everything on the system works, and explained how old the pump was and why it had to be replaced.  He had a replacement pump in the truck and installed it quickly and professionally.  When the job was done I had him look at the water shut-off valve leading to my outside faucets.  They were leaking terribly when turned on.  Instead of telling me they had to be replaced, Dave simply tightened them at no charge.  I highly recommend this company.

We were getting ready to leave for a short vacation when we realized that our kitchen sink drain was clogged from its use the night before for a large family dinner.  I called several plumbers and none could come out until the afternoon.  We thought we would have to delay leaving on vacation but then Lucke came through.  They sent a plumber out.  He was prompt and courteous.  He made sure that he did not get any area under the sink wet or dirty.  He was able to clear the drain quickly and all of us were able to leave quickly.

Thet responded quickly and installed sump pump.

2 days after I moved into my new home, and on a Sunday night, the hot water heater started leaking from the relief valve.  I  called Wilmette Lucke plumbing's answering service and Bob called me back right away. After asking some very pertinent questions, he headed my way.  He called while en route so I would know about what time to expect him.  Once here, he found and repaired the problem very quickly,and, to make full use of the time I had paid for, fixed another issue.  I will very likely use WL plumbing again and soon.

They did a great job and cleaned up afterwards.

They responded right away. Their service is excellent. Their price structure is within reason. They do what's necessary. The job turned out wonderful. Their office staff is very good.

We don’t remember what their price was.  Everything was fine with the quality of their service, so we were happy.  We will use them again in the future if we need to, but hopefully we don’t have to.

We called Wilmette Lucke Plumbing, as they had an excellent rating on Angie's list and they are nearby, to repair toilets which were not flushing properly and give advice regarding installation of a Toyo Washlet.  They got back to us promptly and their plumber Mike came to our house the same afternoon to perform the service and give us the requested advice.  He did the job promptly and professionally and was able to answer a number of questions.  We will have them back to handle the installation of the washlets and to quote on some other jobs we have in mind.  They definitely delivered prompt service and did a great job.  They deserve the high rating on Angie's list.
