I was really impressed.  I've not used them before due to price but it is now clear to me that the reason they cost more is they do the job properly.  For example I've had new turf laid several times before, this is the first time a provider has laid new soil, rolled it, laid more, rolled it again, laid the turf and rolled it again.  I have confidence that all the work they have done is to those same high standards.

It was quite a bid. I like their design service, their skills, their professionalism.

Chalet's landscape division designed a plan for our back yard; acquired the necessary permits for fencing and even spoke to the affected neighbors. They removed old trees and plantings, and installed new trees, shrubs and perennials. Workers were  prompt, they completed the job within a reasonable timeframe, the quality of the items they planted was excellent (and they replaced a few perennials that did not do as well as expected). total cost for the project was about $20,000. Designers spent a lot of time discussing what we wanted, they were very adaptable; the quality of the materials they used was very good; and we were very happy with the outcome. We recently contracted with them to do our weekly maintenance. 

I have been using them for the last 15 years. Whatever you need to do in the yard they do it all, you name it and they do everything. They are without a doubt the best quality service, reliable and the best landscapers, however they are the most expensive landscapers in the free world. I asked them why are they more expensive than everybody else all of our neighbors use and they said part of that is because all of their employees are legit.

They were pretty good in terms of what they did. The only thing I didn't like was that they were pretty expensive. Otherwise their service was pretty good. The price was pretty high. I have another service provider that I'm going to try this year. They are 30% cheaper and they promise the same results.

Totally transformed front and back yards. I worked with Adam S and the entire Chalet Team to develop new design, remove old landscaping, build new patio, install French Drains and install new landscaping. Chalet's design team is wonderful and will work within your budget and any other special needs such as pet friendly plants. The work was done over a 2 year period because the I kept expanding the scope of the project. The project was on time and within budget and I was always notified when the crew encountered problems or if there was any delays. Every member of the Chalet team that I have worked with is extremely professional.

We love the end result but had problems with the billing.  We paid the deposit at the Chalet cashier's station.  The cashier rang our payment up on the wrong account.  When the payment was moved to our account, it was not credited and we received a final bill that included the deposit amount that we had paid.  The bill also included plants we did not order or receive.  We also had problems with the length of time it took to complete the project.  One of the bushes was back ordered.  We had to call several times to have planting completed.
On the positive side, the actual landscaping is beautiful and we are very pleased with the end result.  Despite the billing issues, we would use Chalet again.

The plants came with a 50% guarantee.  We took advantage of their design exterpertise as well as them for the installation.

The experience was fine; it was good.

It was very favorable. They had a good design team. They were very prompt. They had good suggestions for designs for planting. Overall, it was a positive experience.

The person was courteous and thorough, giving me the information requested.  I respect their expertise and frequently purchase plants, supplies and equipment from them.

They’re very expensive but they do a really good job. We had other companies that just do the lawn and they’re gone. But these people would go into the beds, clean the beds out, pull weeds, and the whole nine yards. They’ll even water during the summer. They out in a little garden for my wife to grow vegetables and that cost extra. They charge us $100 a week but it depends on the size of your property. They did a nice job, they’re really on top of it. I like that they’re always on time every week. The landscaper will design something, we’ll go over it and he’ll go with us to their garden center and we’ll go through the plants and pick out what we wanted. There’s been times when we have to leave town and he comes around to make sure the plants are watered. He’s always following up.

They are pretty good. They are pretty expensive than some other landscape company but I use them for landscape like fertilization and fungicide and stuff like that. They provide other services as well like cut the grass. They are twice as expensive as the guy that I'm using but I did not use them to cut the grass but I do use them for their annual fertilization program and disease control. For some reason, the guy was saying they skip one service, there were 5 services a year for the annual fertilization program. The lawn was clean so they did not do one of them, I don't know how to call that. I thought I need to call them to find out but last week I did call in to ask them to come and check the grass. The guy came over and looked at the grass for me and he said there are some disease going on like dollar sign disease and stuff like that. They came the second day to put some fungicide. I think their quality is pretty good, I do know that the lawn has been we just bought the house this year but the lawn has been maintained pretty well. The previous owner has been using them for the lawn. I just want to cut the grass and stuff like that but it was too expensive, they charge like $80 for a cut and it's like $300 a month and that was too expensive for me. The guy was pretty professional and he seems to be knowledgeable about the different type of grass and disease and kind of programs that needed to make sure the lawn is growing pretty good. I was pretty impressed with the guy's knowledge. In terms of the fungicide that they put in last week, I'm yet to see the results, hopefully it would all be good and the disease is killed. Their quality is pretty good.

They are a nursery and landscaping company. Their prices are fair. They are interested in the customer's needs. The people that do the work are very professional and clean. They clean up afterwards.

Have used their guarantee once in past to replace a fungus infested honeysuckle. Absolutely no hassle.

In response to their response. They proposed Privet which if you look up is poisonous to dogs and according to the Chicago Botanic gardens and invasive species. The also gave me a quote for some arbor vitae trees for $7500 which i later had done for $1900 which is actually more than 3x cheaper. I wanted an estimate for some hedges for my yard. I clearly explained to the"landscape designer" that I have dogs and what my requirements were. He proceeded  to  give me an estimate for some hedges, which I later found out were POISONOUS to animals and also an invasive species. Not to forget 3x as expensive as any other estimate I received

I consider Chalet Landscape Nursery & Garden Center the best doing what they did. I think they're on top of their game. They're inexpensive. They are terrific. They were professionals in designing the landscape of my garden. If you want it done right, you should get Chalet Landscape Nursery & Garden Center.

I had a really good experience. They are really good company. They are a little on the pricey side but they do really good work and stand behind it.

they came and did every application as scheduled and if they could not make it they called.  They said they would get rid of my weed issues quickly and they did.  Apllication dates vary through the lawn growing season

The designer I used, Mike B. was lovely. He came to see the existing garden, brought his portfolio and listened to what I wanted. He came up with a beautiful plan which included keeping or repurposing much of the original trees and shrubs that were on the property and adding a patio and seat wall. He is a gentleman, creative, responsive and patient. The crew he brought to install phase I of the garden were very professional and Mike was there to supervise them.

Overall, the experience was good. They have a wide selection of specialty landscape materials and a knowledgeable staff.
