I purchased the Big Deal but when I spoke with the Weed Man he said that the weeds that were in the yard needed more than one application.

While there was a little problem with scheduling, all in all it went well. I am very happy with the results and the line where they stopped spraying is obvious between my lawn and my neighbors. I would use them again without hesitation and will be on the lookout for another Angie's value.

Let me say that I am very pleased with the results achieved from the 'promotional' application and I have reached out to the provider for a proposal for the balance of the season. What I was not pleased with was the 'hard sell' phone calls which I received prior to the scheduling of the first service and is the reason for the low marks on my evaluation.

I have no issues with them at all. I am happy with them. This is my second year with them. They are very personable and they answer my questions. They are not pushy. They are the first lawn service company that I have ever dealt with that delivered what they promised.

I actually contracted them for the whole summer. They are fertilizing company and great. The first one, they did on April 5, just two weeks ago. It is $65 for application for me but paying will have 10% discount and depends on your property size. My parents contracted them now and my sister is contracting them. My parents paid less than me because their properties were a little smaller.

It was very good. It was around $300 for annual fee. They were very professional, friendly, and their weed control work that it did not get any weed.

We were pleased with the service and results. When fall rolled around though, we received numerous solicitations for aeration services at a price I found unreasonable for the small amount of lawn we have. I stated this as the reason for declining the service, but still received several more somewhat aggressive sales calls.

I've used them and they're really good. I last used them last year right around Spring. They charged me $600 for a whole year of service. They said if I paid a whole year ahead they would give me a 10% discount. So I wrote up a cheque for the whole year. So they bill me for mosquitoes and much more so I think they're good at what they do, but I guess it would be nice to know what they do up front instead of finding out afterward that they do this and they do that. But overall I was pleased with what they did. They were good, professional, treated me nice, they called me at home and made sure I was aware of what they do for me. So I would say that they're excellent people. The work they do is really good but I would like to know all of what they do instead of them adding extra services for me. I think I got a great price since I have no comparison and when I look at the work and man hours it seems pretty reasonable.

Got our lawn looking much better for much less than estimates from other lawn care companies.

Applied a weed treatment that was purchased in the Spring. I had to postpone because I had my lawn reseeded and I could not have any treatments applied until August. They were very understanding and let me call them when I could have the treatment applied. Easy to get in touch with and great follow-up.

Always on time, yard looks good, no weeds and grass has big improvement.

Great service, excellent cleanup, courteous service and not pushy about possible future service. used top quality equipment in providing the service, also top quality product in fertilizing.

They applied the chemicals as needed to control the weeds and keep the lawn healthy. They are very friendly and professional. The only issue I had was the office not relaying the information regarding my concerns on specific areas to the Tech. Because of that he missed some areas and had to come back out. I resolved this by walking the property with the tech myself. I will use them again next year.

It was fine. I set up the appointment, he came on time and I didn’t have to be here for the treatments. It was very easy to get it done.

It was just okay. They came by and said that it was for fertilization and then they said it was for something else. I got the feeling that they were just trying to up sale me, because they were pushing hard to up sell me. It made me a little uncomfortable, but it worked out just fine. I think that they did not want to do the service that they had advertised; they just wanted to up sell a product. I have weeds in my front yard now, so it did not help. I would not use them again.

Worked very well; very polite and professional. I will definitely call them if I want weed control done by someone else. Currently I do my own.

The weed control has been effective and well worth the money. Weed Man's phone number gets you to their home office in Middleton, WI.(608-824-0043). They couldn't book my appointment and referred me to their East Dundee office who couldn't service Streamwood so they referred me to Hoffman Estates. Hoffman Estates said they would call me before their service man arrived. I waited weeks without a call and called them back. They seemed surprised I hadn't been serviced yet because their records showed be scheduled weeks before-the first week of May. Dandelions bloomed and died. I waited for service till May 30th. I ordered service through Angie's List on April 4th expecting service to be within 5 to 10 working days. I got service before their offer expired on July 03---all due to my own diligence pursuing them. 56 days is too long to wait to get service.

They got better results than scotts. they also contacted me a few times to get feedback on how they were doing, which shows they care. Scotts ons of use

Went well. They came out as expected at the end of the month and sprayed our entire yard, front and back.

Overall, everything went like clockwork. The lawn application for Spring saw a healthy green lawn emerge and I am awaiting my weed control application in a couple of weeks.

We requested written estimate. However, they sent us confirmation. Too aggressive and not considerate in their approach.
