McGowean Renovations

We hired John to build a pre-cut 8'x14' shed from Costco on our property. He and his associate dug and built a new base, constructed the shed (which was BEAR of a project) roofed it, painted it, and built a custom ramp for the shed. Throughout the entire project John was communicative, transparent, professional, timely and did a stellar job throughout the entire project. We are beyond satisfied with the results. Would highly recommend John for any sort of project you are considering.

John did a fabulous job of giving our powder room a needed facelift. First he removed the existing sink and toilet (toilet was saved and reinstalled). He then tiled a rather complicated design layout using pencil tile details, subway tile and accent tile. The tile was picked out by us but John implemented the layout. He then reinstalled the toilet and a new vanity as well as overhead lighting, outlets and switch plates. John gave a lot of attention to details and care in keeping the worksite neat. His price for the job was very fair! This was NOT the first time John has done a home project for us.....we've used his skills for the last 20 years! If that doesn't say it all, I don't know what does! He's the best!

Mr. McGowean was prompt, courteous, professional and his work is exemplary. He demanded perfection and promptness from his subcontractors, and they happily complied. It was a pleasure to work with him and he is coming back to redo my master bath. He also did the powder room and tile the backsplash in the kitchen. Everything looks beautiful. He is AMAZING!

John repaired our wooden garage after a delivery truck crashed into it and damaged one side of it. He did a great job on the repair and was able to match it exactly to the rest of the garage. You can't even tell the garage had been damaged. Would hire him again for other projects and would definitely recommend him to others.

John did a Fantastic job!! I'm so pleased with his work and the beautiful results! We use our basement constantly now and I will use him for everything else I want to remodel or fix.

John was on time and did a very professional job (with his helper). He also installed a new kitchen sink and hung and (inside) pantry door. I am very, very pleased with his work.

John is creative and very professional. The only reason I used the term "handy man" is due to the number of random profects he accomplished. Many workers do not offer the service of accomplishing a variety of jobs. John does this well and he's very consice. In and out.

It's a flat rate of $75/hr and that includes two men.

John responded quickly, came and gave me a quote the same day and installed the Christmas lights on our big evergreen tree the next day. He asked specifically how I would like them and followed through. Very good service and I would use him again.
