The service tech was able to leave us with a quote for the new furnace. However, when we called to get a competitive quote on a different system we need to repeatedly ask for additional details on the quote although we faxed our detailed request to them THREE times. In the end we opted to go with another company for the furnace replacement. When the 2nd company came out to install the new furnace they found that Comfort Masters didn't bother to clean the air purifier filters which is attached to the furnace.

I was pleased with the experience. Because our house is so old we needed a unique system to cool everything down. Tom, the sales man came out last minute on a Saturday and was extremely knowledgeable. We felt comfortable with him right off the bat. The installers we right on time and worked HARD to get the entire job done in three days (they had quote us 4-5 days). My only complaint was that the clean up was extremely bad. The installers used a swiffer, which is fine in theory and they had worked really hard and done a great job - but my house was a WRECK and covered in plaster dust from top to bottom - I would have liked to have seen a more professional clean up, from someone other than the installers. They were also the most expensive bid we got, but we felt more comfortable with them than any other company. We plan to use them for all HVAC work from here on out.

The guys were on time. When they brought the cleaning equipment inside the house, they threw one of the hose attachments onto our couch which I wasn't too happy about. Nothing got damaged or dirtied though. The price seemed rather on the high end for the amount of work done and the time it took to do the work. It seems that this is their standard price, no matter how big the house is. I didn't get any estimates from any other companies, but I'm fairly certain, that I could've gotten it cheaper and probably got the same quality. I wouldn't hire them again for air duct cleaning. We have a maintenance contract for our furnace/ac with them which we're happy with.

The technician Douglas was on time. Checked and did the A/C tune up. Suggested that we get the $153 package which includes furnace tune up in September. We accepted that package.

This was a great experience. Heath, the technician, was friendly and professional. He took time to answer all my questions, even cleaned my furnace filter and showed me how to get to it. He gave me advice on future needs, and kept a smile on his face while dealing with three dogs following his every move. I will definitely use this company again.

Contacted Golden Seal first thing on Monday morning. Advised that engineer could be with us later that morning. Engineer called back to confirm he would call at 11:00 am. Arrived exactly when he said he would, was very polite and professional and quickly identified fault. The engineer identified a faulty control board and advised that replacement cost would be in the region of $500. However, due to age and condition of furnace, he suggested that we should consider replacing the whole thing. An appointment was arranged for 4:30 that afternoon. The engineer returned on time with his manager, Dave Vic, clearly explained all our options and alternatives. The new system was installed the next day. When I returned from work at around 5:00 pm, it was up and running and the house was warm. Overall, a very good experience.

The technician came out on Super Bowl Sunday and couldn't have been more professional and pleasant. We were very pleased with the service and didn't feel that we were gouged since it was a weekend and the Super Bowl, no less. I would highly recommend!

My furnace went out on a very cold weekend. It took a long time to determine the problem, as an electrical circuit had blown and the second fuse box had to be bypassed to determine the issue. The blower motor had gone out. The repair technician recommended a new furnace, rather than putting money into such an old one - but as it was very cold, and I had no more vacation time at work, I didn't want to wait days for heat. I was disappointed he had no blower motor on his truck and had to get one at a local shop which cost more.

WE HAD BEEN TOLD THAT THE TECHNICIAN WOULD BE THERE SOMETIME AROUND NOON & ON THE STROKE OF 12 NOON HE SHOWED UP. HE WAS THOROUGH IN HIS WORK & EXPLAINED TO US WHAT HE WAS DOING. HE ALSO TOLD US AFTER HE WAS FINISHED THAT ALTHOUGH THE DUCTS HAD NEVER BEEN CLEANED IN THE 13 YEARS OF THE CONDO'S EXISTENCE, THAT THEY REALLY WEREN'T IN BAD SHAPE & THAT HE WOULDN'T BOTHER CLEANING THEM AGAIN FOR AT LEAST FIVE YEARS. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THIS LEVEL OF HONESTY, SINCE MANY COMPANIES WILL TRY TO CONVINCE YOU THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE SERVICE DONE ON A MORE REGULAR BASIS SO THAT THEY HAVE MORE WORK. WE WILL DEFINITELY CALL THEM AGAIN IF WE HAVE ANY OTHER WORK REQUIRED FOR OUR FURNACE OR OUR AIR CONDITIONER (BOTH OF WHICH ARE 13 YEARS OLD & WERE NOT THE HIGHEST QUALITY, SO THEY WILL PROBABLY NEED SOMETHING SOON).

CAME REASONABLY ON TIME TO SERVICE A BOILER. FOUND A MINOR ISSUE THAT WOULD COST $400 TO FIX. I DIDN'T THINK THE WORK REALLY NEEDED TO BE DONE, BUT EVERYONE ELSE IN MY BUILDING WANTED THE REPAIR MADE, AND TURK WILL BE COMING BACK TO FINISH THE JOB.

WE HAVE A SERVICE CONTRACT WITH COMFORT MASTERS SO WHEN IT CAME TIME TO GET A NEW AIR CONDITIONER, THEY WERE THE FIRST PEOPLE WE ASKED. THE REP. CAME OUT FIRST TO GIVE ME ALL THE INFORMATION ABOUT SOME DIFFERENT UNITS AND TO GIVE ME PRICE ESTIMATES ON THOSE DIFFERENT UNITS. WHEN WE DECIDED TO GO AHEAD WITH ONE OF THE UNITS, I CALLED THE REP. BACK TO ARRANGE FOR FINANCING AND TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT FOR INSTALLATION. THE INSTALLATION WENT SMOOTHLY BUT IT TOOK LONGER THAN I HAD EXPECTED. IT WAS A HOT DAY SO THAT MORE THAN LIKELY ADDED TO THE TIME THE JOB TOOK. THE NEW A/C WORKS GREAT AND IT CARRIES A WARRANTY.

SERVICE TECHNICIANS ARE EXCELLENT. DIFFICULT TO GET QUOTE FROM SALESMAN - SEEMED HE DIDN'T WANT TO TRAVEL TO THE CITY TO REVIEW WHAT NEEDED DONE, AND DIDN'T ALWAYS RETURN MY CALLS PROMPTLY. THEY DO EXCELLENT WORK, BUT AS THEY'RE LOCATED SO FAR FROM ME (THEY'RE IN ST. CHARLES, I'M IN CHICAGO) GETTING AN APPOINTMENT IS SOMETIMES DIFFICULT. I WASN'T ABLE TO GET ADDITIONAL QUOTES, DUE TO TIME CONSTRAINTS, BUT IT SEEMED EXPENSIVE - ESPECIALLY ALMOST $2000 TO MOVE THE RETURN.
