We have had a mysterious, intermittent but persistent leak in our kitchen/family room ceiling over the course of many years. We've had 2 levels of roofing replaced and sealed, new gutters,... yet still the rain managed to come in during rare high-wind downpours. The company that had replaced the gutters last year was out of business, and so our contractor recommended A B Edwards. Andy (the estimator) came out to give us an estimate on possibly sealing/reinforcing the gutters where they join the house (or something?!), but agreed, at my suggestion, to go up on the roof with the garden hose to try to re-create the leak in the house. After pouring water everywhere, we finally figured out that water could come in through the top of where the old wooden window frames joined the new stucco on our exterior walls. Andy suggested capping the window frames w/ aluminum and sealing it to the stucco. He could have easily talked us into new windows too, but said the old windows were not the problem. Since we have been wanting new windows in that area, we decided to replace the windows anyway. The kind I wanted were not readily available, but Andy researched the options, found the perfect windows for us and ordered them. The new windows are much nicer than what I expected. Not only was the work done quickly and cleanly, they worked around my schedule without once making me feel that I was having to fit THEIR schedule. Yolanda, the lady in their office, called to update us on the order, schedule the work, and remind us of the appointments. Also, the other Andy, the craftsman, did a great job and left all the areas, inside and out, cleaner than they were when he started! I was not home during the time he removed our old windows, but by the time I came home to see the new windows, I could hardly believe the old ones were gone with no mess left behind. We were totally happy with the workmanship and everyone's pleasant "can do" attitude and professionalism.

They worked quickly and they had one of the lowest prices. The owner came and explained what they were going to do. They assigned a coordinator that constantly kept in touch with me. They responded to my questions via e-mail. Even though the crew only spoke polish, there was always someone I could communicate with. They were friendly, courteous, and hardworking. I would recommend them.
