I called at 5:26 PM (they close at 5 PM) expecting to leave a voice mail message. Andy answered the phone and was able to stop by in a half hour. It was less than 30 minutes when he arrived. (We do live in Wheaton, the same town as his company.)
He was very nice, shook my hand and got on his way to the electrical panel in the basement after I went over a short summary of the issue. Turns out we just needed a bad breaker replaced. Easy peasy. He was quick and efficient.
He also noticed, though, that there was a lot of cold air coming in to the panel and saw that the pipe with the electrical wires in it that runs to the outside was open. Since the condensation could damage the electrical wires, he puttied it up and was on his way. Showed me a picture of the pipe on his phone so I could get a good look.
After a horrendous experience with A-Plus Electric a few years ago (that would be a scathing two page review of agony), I never thought I would trust an electrician again. I'll be giving out Andy and AGC's name to anyone who asks me about electricians from here on out.

Showed up for estimate exactly on time. Very fair estimate and completed all work on time and on schedule. Very high quality work and excellent communications on arrival time and work plan, and what he found while inspecting the electrical. Andy and Adrian both worked on the job and both were excellent. As a result of this job, I have used them at other family residences, and the whole family now views them as " our electricians". Great to have an important electrician you can count on.

Andy and Adrian made what I thought would be a complicated project go more smoothly than I could have imagined.  They were prompt with their proposal, followed up via email and were always prompt when they came to my house.  They coordinated the required inspections and service disconnects with the City and finished the project faster than I anticipated.  They were very professional and exceeded my expectations.  I will definitely use them again.

Andy and his father are skilled, well-mannered professionals.  They were always punctual and completed the work according to their time and cost estimates.  Andy explained what was needed and any options that were available.  He was very thorough, including getting whatever permits were necessary.  I appreciate not only the quality of work that was provided, but also the manner in which it was done.  I wish all contractors could do a great job and be so courteous!!!!

I called AGC this morning and was told they were in the area and could come out this afternoon.  I didn't get his name, but I believe he was the father of the owner, a very pleasant man.  He arrived when he said he would, took his shoes off at the door, and went to work.  He was here about an hour and fixed and replaced what was needed.

This house is over 100 years old.  Electricians used to hang up on me when they heard the age the house and the spaghetti wiring done over the decades.  Andy came in found the short, fixed it, vacuumed up and was on his way.   No drama just action.  Thanks again.

Completely outstanding. On time with estimate and all work. Extremely professional. One of the best service providers I have used. Have referred him to family, and they have now had work done with Andy.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We have 17.7' vaulted ceilings in our living room, with two fans at the top of the vault. Some of the estimates we received for removing the old fans and installing new ones were astronomical. Andy actually came out to the house to get a look at our living room and to measure the ceiling height (the other estimates were given over the phone). On the date of service, the two-man team arrived on time. They were considerate of my floors, putting down drop cloths under the ladder. They worked quickly and safely, and cleaned up afterward. We will definitely be hiring them in the future to replace the lightning fixture in our dining area, as well as for any other electrical needs we may have.

AGC was fast, friendly and Flexible with my install and I would highly recommend.  I will be using again to install a ceiling fan in my living room.

Great attention to detail, when he installed the fan he adjusted some of the light holders to make sure they were evenly spread apart.  I am 100% satisfied and fully recommend you reach out to him should you have any electrical needs, his prices are very competitive and his level of service was excellent!

Andy and his dad work fast and hard for two days.  he even came in on a Sunday to finished since my drywall guys were coming on Monday.  He gets in the attics with no complaints.  Honest prices.

Andy came out to quote a laundry list of electrical repairs at the request of a home inspector since we were selling our home. He replaced an aging electrical and sub panel with a single panel which resolved a safety issue because my panel was missing an interior cover, not to mention the common problems of some double taps that are caused by insufficient breakers. He then replaced romex that was fished around in a few places and added GFCI outlets to circuits in the basement. He also replaced exterior outlets with new weatherproof GFCI outlets. He was here all day with my wife and she felt comfortable with him and his father doing the work. I have found my new electrician. Fair pricing and outstanding work!

After reading all the previous reviews there is no need to look any further on finding an electrician(s) in our opinion.  AGC Electric, Inc. was top-notch on everything, from getting the quote, communication throughout the project, follow-up, quality of workmanship, to final inspection from the Village for the service upgrade.
We did buy a certain panel that we wanted for installation & other equipment for the project; Andy and Mr. Gheorghita (Sr.) had no problem installing the panel & the other equipment we purchased and even gave us credit on the final invoice.  It was a real pleasure working with true electrical professionals, and we will certainly hire AGC Electric, Inc. for our next project(s) in the future.  This company is a rare find for integrity, professionalism & top quality workmanship.   Outstanding Service!
 
 
 

I called Andy at 3pm regarding two outlets that had mysteriously gone dead.  The breaker wasn't blown, the connections on the outlets themselves were fine, and there weren't any GFCI's blown.  Adrian was at the house by 5:45 and determined that it was a faulty breaker in our service panel.  He replaced the breaker and was finished within 15 minutes of walking through the door.  
These guys are extremely pleasant, amazingly affordable, and true professionals.  We're new to Wheaton and will definitely use them for all of our future electrical needs.  A breath of fresh air!

Andy and his team take pride in their work and it shows in the quality of workmanship they provided. They offered us very good suggestions throughout the remodel which helped make the project run smoothly.  In addition to his great work,  we really enjoyed that Andy has his crew were punctual and showed up on time and did what they needed to do without too much instruction. To boot, they were much more competitive on price than other electricians we bid out on the job. My suggestions is if you want a great electrician and you like saving money, call Andy. Thanks again.

Andy was very prompt, polite, and professional in providing me his very reasonable quote. The cost of service listed above includes an Angie's List members' discount. He was always punctual when arriving to do work and performed the task in an efficient manner. I have had no problems with the electrical work. He went out of his way to offer to be available if any problems arose the day that I had my electric cooktop and oven installed. He also followed up after the installation to make sure there were no problems. I would definitely hire him again.
