Stadtler Heating & Cooling

They are coming next Monday to do the check up and change the filters. They send me a postcard and if I want to get any work done then I can schedule an appointment with them. I skipped it last year so I am going to get the work done this year. Everything they have done so far has worked for me. When I was looking for a new furnace a person from another company came out and I smelled the cigarette smoke. He did not put the bootees on and left a mark on my hardwood floor. Stadtler representatives were the opposite. They came in with the bootees on. They kept everything nice and clean. They were professional.

I have been using them for thirty years now. They had installed the furnace for us. I will grade them high across all the categories.

Stadtler Heating & Cooling was great. The representative that came out was helpful and thorough when explaining things to me. He was courteous and I have no complaints.

We have used Stadtler for years, but have grown more frustrated with them in the past few. You have to make appointments months in advance. The last time we tried to have them service our furnace it was an emergency. We had no heat. I called and they said it would be 2 weeks before they could come out. This was in the middle of winter. The only reason we had to use this company was because we had a Lennox unit, which can only be serviced by certain technicians. We found another company here on Angie's List and even though they had never serviced our furnace before, they came out the next day and fixed the problem.

Out of the 3 contractors I called for estimates, Stadtler seemed to be the most knowledgeable. The price was not the lowest, but very reasonable. I was happy with the work performed and would recommend them. My only complaint is the a/c unit is a bit loud compared to the neighbors' older units.

I paid for a 10 year guarantee on my system. They do a good job. They have pretty good equipment.

This was only a routine cleaning - our furnace had been running fine. Before the repairman left, he was saying how it was a very old furnace and we should consider replacing it, as it was probably on its last legs. After the repairman left, the furnace never came back on. We did not notice this all day long - we only started getting chilly at night. We checked the thermostat and the house was down to 66. Tried calling Stadtler back - it was about 10:15. We got their answering service, who told us they stop taking calls at 10 PM - even though their ads and their receipt state 24 hour service. We had to call another company, and the problem was a bad gas valve. Since the valve was fine before the cleaning and did not work afterward, I suspect something was done that shorted the valve sometime. But my worst complaint is advertising 24 hour service when it clearly is NOT - a 24 hour answering service does not count as 24 hour service.

WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK. THEY ARE VERY PROMPT AND COURTEOUS.

They kept my furnace and hot water tank going for 38 years. They are great to work with and they never try to get me to buy anything I don't need. They are very honest and trustworthy, they come when they say the are going to, and I've never had any problem with them. They are also very neat and clean.

LONNIE AND GIL WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY WORE BOOTIES IN THE HOUSE AND PUT DOWN MATS TO KEEP FROM TRACKING IN MUD.
