We purchased an older home with several outlets that didn't work properly. We also had ghost light switches that didn't connect to any outlets. The electrician, Ron or Rob was great. I told him I only had 2 hours worth to spend and boy did he speed through the house for me. He even ran out to Sears and bought another outlet cover so he could custom cut it to fit above my countertop. I would use them again in an instant!!!

Rob and Alex were great, what a team!! I had a painting project going on and decided we needed some additional lighting installed. Rob responded and was flexible with his scheduling, getting the additional work done before the painters left the job and ulimatly saving us money in the long run. These guys gave everything they did that "extra effort" that you don't see much of now days. Using Oakwood was a pleasure and I WILL be calling these guys in the future for my electrical and lighting needs.

I have always had difficulty finding and electrician for some reason. I selected OAKWOOD because they were close to our home. Rob called to confirm- arrived promptly and both he and his assistant wore booties in our home. They were thorough and answered other questions I had. Know I have an electrician I would recommend to all my friends1

Rob and his helper did an excellent job. They covered everything in one very hot day and were very flexible in adapting to our needs. For example, I preferred different light fixtures than those Rob brought with him. Instead of 3 long fixtures originally quoted, I purchased 8 different fixtures from a local supplier. The installation cost difference was very reasonable. They had to dig a trench from the house to the garage and did it where I wanted it without any problem. The new panel was neatly installed and five new GFCI outes were positioned exactly where I requested. Then we had some existing wiring and switch problems. Rob resolved it by replacing the existing wiring and switches with no cost or minimal charge for all the extra items. There were complications in switching 3 circuits to the emergency panel. All but one item could be switched, but they did it, tested the circuits and all works fine. Then the defective outlet was replaced -- at no additional cost. I asked Rob for assistance in our landscape lighting project and he was very helpful. He provided suggestions on types of lighting, layout ideas, product brands and reasonable sources for the components. We found Rob and his team to be a pleasure to work with, discuss options, problems and scheduling. They made and kept their commitments, respected our property as though it was theirs, and cleaned up after themselves. Oakwood lighting will be asked to quote on all of our future our electrical needs. We have signed a contract for annual emergency generator maintenance and plan to ask them to install our new landscape lighting.

Rob and Alex came on time, and worked hard. Working in the attic is hot, dusty work, so I am sure that it was not fun. The installation was very professional, and they cleaned up nicely. They had estimated 4 hours for the job, but they did it in 3 hours. I have used them before, and will continue to use them. I have always been happy with their work.

quick response, good cleanup. very careful to check all were working as they should. a few other things came up as they were working and repaired with no extra cost to me. Would use again in a second. Will never call anyone else. Great experience with a service for a change.

We had an e-mail, phone call and visit to give estimate within hours of my inquiry! Rob and Alex appeared promptly at 7:30 to avoid the attic heat on our venting project and efficiently worked on though our light replacements. Everything was very professionally handled - will certainly call them again if the need arises!!

He has done quite a lot of work for us. He works for our home and our business. He does good work for a good price, and he's a good guy. The work is of good quality.

I called them for an estimate, and Rob came the next day. We agreed on an estimate and a date to do the service. Rob came on time last Tuesday with a helper, and they did a very neat installation and cleaned nicely. Rob was very helpful. Rob brought a 1-outlet setup but I had decided that I wanted a 2-outlet installation. He just called and got a new outlet. These are fancy outlets so I was happy to see that he could do this. This change meant that the job took more than an hour but I was only charged for an hour. I was very happy overall.

Called to ask if they could arrive early. Respoded quickly, professionally. Extremely pleased with their service.

Rob is available promptly and his work is done quickly at a great price. His hourly rate is quite fair and there isn't a job yet he hasn't been able to perform for us.

Rob came on time and gave me an estimate. The estimate looked reasonable to me. Rob and his crew of two were very professional and they did a very neat job. Installing the freezer, in particular, required laying out conduit in the ceiling. I was afraid that it would look messy, but was happy with the results. They did it in about 4-5 hours. One of the outlets that they installed did not work, so I called them and they fixed it with no extra charge.
