In the middle of one of the hottest summers our A/C died. We called G&S and they came out and got our old unit working . We discussed the age of the unit and how long it would last , we decided to replace the old unit . G&S insalled a new Trane A/C that works much better than the old one. The service from G&S is outstanding , we have been customers for a long time . I would highly recommed them .

They came out promptly and fixed the air conditioner promptly. The repair was done under warranty. They were very good and seemed honest. Their professionalism, cleanup and service were excellent. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

It worked for a couple of months and then went out. Everything went good. He came out on time and fixed it as best as he could. The price was reasonable.

I have been using G&S for about 15 years. I have never had a problem with the work. If a part needs to be ordered they will return when they say they will. They explain exactly what is wrong and what needs to be done in a way that is clear to me. In short, I wouldn't call anyone else for appliance repair or heating/cooling.

The first time they put Freon in but that didn’t work so they had to look for a leak. We highly recommend them.

G&S has been maintaining and installing my heating and air conditioning, as well as maintaining and repairing my appliances for the last 20 years. They are extremely reliable, dependable and reasonably priced. I so appreciate their honesty and frankness in all our dealings. Every member of the team is fantastic. Found water on the floor in the laundry room where unit is housed. Called G & S Service on Thursday morning. Received a callback within two hours and scheduled tech to come out Friday afternoon. Window given was between noon and 3pm. Tech arrived at 1:20pm and completed the work in 30 minutes including cleanup. Will definitely hire G & S Service again.

They are very responsive and very good. I have a separate number for an emergency, so I can either call to schedule something routine or call the separate number in case of an emergency. If it’s an emergency and I leave a message I’d get a response even if it’s not during normal business hours. They are simply good at solving my problems. We have been using them for a very long time and have always been pleased with them.

I have had excellent service from this company before and they submitted the lowest bid (by over $1000) for this job. Greg gave me the estimate and did much of the work himself. The work was done promptly and well. The company submitted the $300 company rebate application and the check arrived in a few weeks. The furnace and air conditioner have worked flawlessly for nearly one year now.

G&S SCHEDULED THIS SERVICE ON ONLY A FEW DAYS NOTICE BECAUSE I WANTED TO HAVE THEM CHECK THE FURNACE EXHAUST ON THE ROOF BEFORE I HAD A NEW ROOF PUT ON. MY FURNACE HAD A SEVERE, ALTHOUGH TEMPORARY, DOWNDRAFT PROBLEM WHEN I FIRST TURNED IT ON THIS SEASON, WHICH I THOUGHT MIGHT MEAN AN OBSTRUCTION IN THE FLUE. ALSO, ONE ROOFER HAD TOLD ME THAT HE WOULD REPLACE THE EXHAUST STACK, WHICH G&S TOLD ME WAS A BIG JOB AND DIDN'T NEED TO BE DONE. G&S USUALLY DOES NOT DO ROOF FLUE INSPECTIONS BUT THE SERVICEMAN DID IT COMPETENTLY AND ONLY CHARGED $25 FOR IT. HE ALSO SHOWED ME HOW TO ADJUST THE ANTICIPATOR SETTING ON THE THERMOSTAT TO ELIMINATE SHORT-TIME ON-OFF CYCLING, WHICH HAD BEEN GOING ON SINCE THE PREVIOUS SERVICE (ALSO BY G&S) WHEN THAT SETTING MUST HAVE BEEN CHANGED. THE SERVICEMAN WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL, AND REASSURED ME THAT DOWNDRAFTS SOMETIMES OCCUR WHEN A FURNACE IS FIRST TURNED ON, BUT THAT THE EXHAUST FLOW UP THE FLUE RETURNS TO NORMAL AFTER THE FLUE HAS WARMED UP.
