Scheduled an appointment for a window replacement estimate with Dilworth a few weeks ahead of time, gave Dilworth my location and included service address and directions. Received a call from Dilworth a few hours before the appointment letting me know that they would not be able to service my location. I was informed that it's policy to accept every estimate appointment and then decide whether or not to service the customer at a later time. Huge inconvenience for the customer (on a work day) to find out that Dilworth would not be stopping out for the appointment. Essentially a wasted vacation day with work - they should have made an effort to notify me prior to the day of the appointment.

Kevin was very attentive to our needs. He took the time to go over each detail of the work to be performed, the product being used and explained the pros and cons of installing siding as well as answered any questions we had. We were particularly concerned with the condition of the original wood siding (home was built in 1959) which remained under the aluminum. He was even available via cell phone for any additional questions which arose after our initial meeting. Once we decided to go with Dilworth (we received over 10 est. from other contractors), we were very pleased with the work performed. His crew was very professional and neat. Clean up was done every evening. When a problem arose with installing trim around the windows, Kevin was at the house within the hour and personally performed the work himself. We are extremely happy with the end result and would recommend Dilworth to friends.

I was able to reach them quickly and they came out the next week for an estimate. Knowledgeable, prompt and professional. The windows would have taken 2-3 weeks to arrive. No high pressure sales, just gave information requested. We ended up going with another company because they were already doing some other work for us, but we would definitely consider Dilworth when we want to replace our other windows.($2,500.00)

A great experience. The windows are high quality and greatly reduced the noise from an adjacent busy street. The windows were installed professionally. A minor problem with one of the windows was noted by the installation crew. They ordered a replacement part and returned the next week to install it. Our entire neighborhood is hitting the age where everyone is replacing their windows. Even from the street, ours look better. The windows arrived within the time quoted, and the installers arrived when they said they would.

This is the second time I have used this firm, and a number of neighbors have also used them. I went back to them because my first experience was so positive. My experience this time was equally positive. They carefully explained my options and made recommendations based on my requirements. The windows were ready in a short period of time. The installation was done very professionally, and the work was extremely neat. I installed the Sunrise windows and am extremely satisfied with them. Nice to have such a snug house this past winter!

Using Dilworth Windows has been a good experience. At first I was unsure of the salesman, but I soon changed my opinion. My old windows were in very, very bad shape. In replacing them, I probably needed a carpenter. But Kevin and Alec and Rich worked hard and did more than I expected. Kevin did window work and carpentry without charging any extra fee. The windows and installation costs are not cheap, but Dilworth impressed me more than the others. They lived up to it too. The new windows look great, the house is warmer, and I hear less noise from the outside. I like this product and Dilworth is one of the few companies in the Chicago area that I could find that carries this window. I will probably use them again when I replace windows or doors. By far, Dilworth is of the best companies I've used from the list. If you want quality and will pay for it, use them. Thanks to Gary, Lisa, Kevin, and his crew, I am enjoying nearly all the rooms of my home!
