What I like about this company is that they cleaned up well and they didn't hurt anything else in the process. They all worked incredibly fast for such a large tree that had to be taken down. I can't find the price in my file and I don't remember how much they charged me. I did think that they price was fair.

KTS promptly scheduled me when I called in January 2007. I was happy that I did not need to be around for the estimate. They were one of four companies that gave us estimates for the tree trimming. I was impressed because not only did they quote the trees I asked, but they also quoted every tree in our yard. They even correctly diagnosed some of the problems we have had over the past year. They easily identified our bronze birch borer problem in the white birch. While we didn't do most of the things they included in their estimate (fertilizing and adding tension wire to trees with split trunks for stability), we were impressed with their effort and sales pitch. They were as reasonably priced as any other company we received quotes from. I am happy with the work, although I think I was expecting bit much. They prunedon the macro scale (cutting bigger branches, raising the crowns), while I was hoping to see more shaping (removing some of the smaller branches, etc).

Great company. I got an estimate in November. I wanted the dormant season discount. They called when they said they would in January, gave a 15% discount, were speedy efficient, did what they said they would, and the bill came in lower than the estimate which was more than fair for the work they did.

I had a wonderful experience from the first phone call to the office, to speaking with Mike K. the arborist. Once I accepted the proposal the work was done the next day, and all finished on the same day even though they said they may have to come back at another time to grind down the stump. The crew was hardworking, courteous to my coming and going, and careful of the surrounding area of the house and yard to prevent any damage. The price was comparable to other bids, and we received a discount for off-season work.

Excellent. The estimate was prompt and exact. The advice to remove the tree was exactly the same as other estimators had recommended. They called early on the day of removal, and the crew was here within one hour. A crew of four worked the entire morning and into the early afternoon to remove the large tree. The work was done carefully and securely, and the clean-up was well done. I received the invoice within two days and the discount for out-of-season service was appropriately included. A totally professional job from estimate to work to billing!

They were very clean and fast. The crew came at 9am, and there was no sign of them at noon. They cleaned up all the branches and debris. The trees look healthier now. They gave suggestions on adding mulch and some fertilizer but did not have a heavy sales push on the extras.

Todd came out 2 days after being called to estimate costs. A couple of days later I received the proposal in the mail. They removed the trees a week later. About 2 weeks later they returned to grind the stumps. No problems.

Company representative said it would cost $125 to assess the trees. What I got was a report saying all of my trees were in good condition, and a map showing location and size of the trees. Also included was an estimate to prune/trim the trees. I never asked for any of this information. I wanted the bug problem in the bark assessed and treated. I told the company this again after the visit and asked them about the earwigs, and they said that the bugs posed no harm to the trees. Had they told me this in the first place, I would not have paid them $125 to tell me where my trees are located on my property and how big in diameter they are. I feel taken advantage of in this regard. I made a little fuss but wasn't getting anywhere in getting my money refunded. So at least I know if I need my trees trimmed (big maples) that it will cost me a lot of money.

Fast, efficient, courteous. They have trimmed my trees before, and I want them to do so again.

We have a new house built on what was formerly a wooded lot. Jeff has been very helpful to us in assessing the health of our trees, giving us tree advice, and suggesting things to do to maintain or improve the health of the trees. We have a huge Burr Oak very close to the front of our house. It has been struggling since construction. Large branches over the house died. KTS trimmed off the dead parts. They were careful, neat, and very professional. People have said they were more expensive than some other tree services, but you sometimes get what you pay for. KTS is worth the money.

EACH TIME THE FOREMAN ASKED ME IF THE JOB WAS SATISFACTORY. I WAS MORE THAN SATISFIED. THE COST SEEMED REASONABLE TO ME.

ALTHOUGH THEY MAY CHARGE HIGHER RATES THAN OTHER TREE SERVICE PROVIDERS, THEY PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY, DEPENDABLE SERVICES AND PRODUCTS. THEY DELIVER THE SERVICES PROMISED, AND HAVE NEVER COMPROMISED QUALITY.

VERY PROFESSIONAL WITH CONTRACT AND BID. TWO OTHER BIDS WERE SOLICITED, BUT WERE NOT AS THOROUGH AS KRAMER'S. CAME WHEN PROMISED AND HAD EXCELLENT CLEAN UP AFTER.

ARBORIST WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROPOSED A SHORT AND LONG TERM STRATEGY FOR ENHANCING THE HEALTH OF OUR TREES.

THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.

THEY HAVE A GENTLEMAN THEY SEND OUT THAT DOES ESTIMATES WHO IS ON THE BALL AND DOES NOT WASTE TIME. THE CREWS HE SENDS ARE NOT ALWAYS THE SAME CREWS THEY SPECIALIZE IN DIFFERENT TASKS. EACH PERSON THAT COMES IS A SPECIALIST, AND IS VERY GOOD. VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE PROFESSIONALS.
