We waited a while to get the final service done from the time the job was quoted, understandably spring being a busy growing season. We felt that the work done was okay, but expect the trees to be thinned out a bit to allow growth to the interior of the trees rather than just having hollowed out trees with growth on the outside and very little growth inside.

They were wonderful! They arrived on time, gave us an estimate and did the work in a timely fashion. We were having a rehearsal dinner and they were actually able to fit us into their schedule to have that dinner without that ugly tree. For any other tree service that we need, we’ll definitely call them. We were very pleased!

An arborist from Kramer came out quickly after our initial call to inspect the tree and emailed a quote as well as provided a hard copy. On the day of the tree removal, we received a call reminding us that the crew would arrive by 8:00 a.m. A three-man crew including Rob, Jason, and Seth were right on time and inspected the property. They made the decision not to bring down the truck to avoid any possible damage to the spruce which meant they would have to do everything manually. Rob and Jason are experienced climbers and their teamwork, timing, spotting, and communication was nothing short of remarkable. Their rope work in the tree canopy that supported Rob and brought down the segments of tree was masterful. Seth had to drag and haul huge sections of the canopy down our long driveway out to the street which he did very cautiously. As they neared the end of the project, I asked if they could provide two slices of the trunk for us to keep and they did so willingly. The final cleanup on our property and our street left no hint that we just had a large tree removed. Kramer Tree Specialists is indeed as "good as it gets" when it comes to professional tree removal. We will definitely be hiring them again later this year for additional work on our property.

They trim the trees the way they should be trimmed. They have the tree in mind when they are trimming. They trim it according to the type. They are expensive.

We called to arrange an estimate and received a courteous response. We used them about 8 years ago for a similar trimming, but only of one tree at that time. Tim, the arborist, was out within a few days and did the survey. We received the estimate two days later, complete with diagram of tree locations. He mailed us the estimate and I called to confirm on Thursday. The guys arrived to do the job on Friday, the next day, even though we were told it would be within three weeks. We were delighted because there was a strong wind the night before and we could hear the branches scraping the roof. They had also contacted JULIE to make sure the tree removal did not interfere with Underground utility lines. The trimming and tree removal was completed in one day. The workers were polite, informative, and worked hard. They ate their lunch in the truck, and cleaned up all areas before they left. The office followed up with a phone call to make sure we had a good experience. Invoice was received within the week. Overall a good experience. We are still waiting for Autumn tree feeding, which we decided to also use.

Tim, with Kramer Trees.came out and inspected all the trees on our lot and got me a detailed proposal of their recommendations. We chose to have just one tree addressed that had major problems. I had additional questions regarding that tree and Tim was very responsive and responded to all of my emails very promptly. They came out and did the soil injection shortly after and the pruning was done approx. 3 weeks later. They did an excellent job and have assured me that if we follow their recommendations, I won't lose a tree that I thought was going to have to be removed.

The spraying is effective. We only got one other estimate and Kramer was more reasonable. They understand the trees and know a lot about them. They educated us.

The price is competitive. They clean up wonderfully. They are great. They are very professional, responsive, and good to work with. I would use them again.

They are expensive, but boy are they good. They are true professionals and trained arborists. I was very impressed with the estimate they presented because it was extremely detailed. I was equally impressed by their work.

They did a good job and cleaned up pretty well. There were just small pieces here and there, which is normal. They chipped and took away all the large pieces. I'm usually not home when they do the work. I use them every other year. They are great.

We were very happy with the results, so far. I typically do my own landscape and gardening work, but we wanted professionals to trim these mature trees. The two trimmers who came did a great job, and were receptive to our comments about the extent of the trimming desired. They were careful about the beds and bushes under the trees they trimmed, and cleaned the areas thoroughly.

Kramer employees were polite, efficient and took no time at all to get the job done. All the branches were taken out of the yard and fed to the tree chipper. They said they were going to be here at 2:00pm and were here even earlier. I would highly recommend Kramer to anyone looking for a company they can depend on to get the job done right. The office personell are pleasant and helpful. This is the 2nd time we have used Kramer and look forward to working with them in the future.

The estimate was way too much, and it didn?t include the stump. They were the most expensive of the companies that I had contacted. As a result I didn?t choose them. They were polite and anxious to get my business. They responded quickly and were here when they said they?d be here. All I did was speak to the estimator who was very professional. My overall experience with them was unfavorable because of the pricing.

They are very professional and they have a good amount of people working for them. Their pricing is a bit high but they do the job correctly and they don?t under-employ people to do a certain job. The quality of their work is good and I have been satisfied with their service.

It had taken them a couple of weeks to get out and do the work. I think they do a great job. Other people have used them, and they always seem to do quality work.

The village notified us that because our elm tree had dutch elm disease we were required to have it taken down within ten days. Kramer returned my call promptly and they were able to come out within a week. The man who came out took the time to answer some questions I had about other trees on our property. Their proposal was professionally done and nearly the cheapest estimate. The men on the job were very professional and efficient. Because the tree was located in our backyard and very close to our house they used a crane to lift each section over our house. The tree was removed down to the stump in four hours. Afterward they did a great job of cleaning up, including getting on the roof to blow off the sawdust. As agreed, they came back a week later to grind the stump. Just as I was returning home the man was finishing up the stump grinding. He pointed out to me that he had accidentally damaged our paver edging. I appreciated his honesty and called Jeff Kramer who sent someone out within a few days to fix it. We were very impressed with how the whole job went and would definitely use them again.

We called to have 4, 30-50 foot maple and sycamore trees trimmed since it had been over 15 years since it had been done. There were low hanging branches and dead wood. KTS called the morning of the job and arrived promptly with a crew of 6 and 2 trucks. After climbing, sawing and clippling all afternoon, the results were well worth it.

From estimate to job completion they were very knowledgeable and professional. They offer a winter discount which is helpful. We would definitely use them again.

We had used Kramer Tree Service 2 times before and been happy with them. We asked that they come give us an estimate on 1 tree that we wanted removed. They came out and mailed our estimate, but it was for the wrong tree. I called them and they said they would come out again. We received a correct estimate a few days later, but when I called to arrange for a date to hire them, no one ever called me back after I called 3 times. We hired a different company that was $300 cheaper, and they came out 1 week later to remove the tree. Kramer Tree Service showed up 1 month later to remove the tree, without calling, and I had to send the crew away since the tree had already been removed.

We called them out for an estimate for trimming some tree's in our yard. One of them was over shading our deck. They came out and gave us an ala-carte quote for different sets of trees and gave us some other recommendations. We called them back out for one of the trees and agreed to the estimate. They gave us a two week window for the work. They did a great job. We didn't even notice the change until we were sitting out side and noticed the extra sun. On careful inspection we could see that they thinned out the tree but didn't change the overall shape or look. We were very happy.
