This is a small funeral home, but it offers personal touches that bigger funeral homes fail to provide.  The fact that the crematory is on-site, where we could look at the facilities, helped us choose this funeral home over many others that were available.  (By the way, the crematory is very clean and well kept.  We felt very comfortable saying goodbye to our loved one here as opposed to some other off-site crematories that can be dirty and factory-like.  It is our understanding that most funeral homes use off-site crematories, and the family never really knows the conditions of the crematory where your loved one is sent.)
From start to finish, our family was amazed at the care and respect Jason and the rest of the staff at DuPage Cremation showed.  When we met with Jason to make the funeral arrangements, Jason carefully explained all the services and answered all our questions.  Jason also wrapped our loved one's body in a comforting quilt as he escorted her to the funeral home.  This touched us and warmed our hearts tremendously.  Many other funeral homes don't do this.  
Also, even though our funeral service was a buddhist memorial service with monks in attendance, Jason and the staff accommodated us with everything we needed.  They helped us with placement of flowers and rearranging chairs.  Whenever we asked for something, the staff accommodated quickly with a warm smile.  We wish we learned about this place earlier.  We definitely would have used them and recommended them to others.

rMy mother was in hospice care at my home for the last few weeks of her life.  The hospice care agency recommended DuPage Cremations, noting that they were professional, caring, and inexpensive.  That all turned out to be true.  DuPage's facilities are basic and located in a part of town that has a lot of light industrial buildings.  Not a problem if they're simply performing cremation services.  They do have a small chapel, if you need one.  In our case, we had a simple graveside service and a larger memorial service a few days later at our church.  The mortuary services we required were quite basic.  Since there was no open casket viewing, no embalming was performed.  We saved thousands from what I was quoted at other funeral homes.

DuPage Cremations was extremely professional, responsive, courteous and respectful. I could not have asked for a better experience. They expedited the paperwork and process to accomodate my family's travel schedule. They were able to accomodate all requests and needs. Alex and his staff made the entire experience as pain free as possible, and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for cremation services to go through DuPage Cremations insteaad of a standard funeral home.
