Wendrick's White Plumbing

He came on time and replaced outdoor faucet and I purchased an extra faucet that he equipped with a fitting so if the new one froze I could replace it myself rather easily. I did some research and discovered the same manufacturer (Woodford) sold a model that would not rupture if hose was left on over the winter. He looked at my well pressure tank and determined the internal membrane had broken and I needed a new one. ($291.75 plus the cost of extra faucet) I purchase a new tank on my own and he returned 3 weeks later and installed it. ($257.00) He did a nice job but the cost for labor and the few parts he used seemed high. ))

They have really quick turnaround. Both times I needed them quickly and they were here. They tried to troubleshoot both the issues over the phone so I wouldn't have to pay for a service call; I thought that was pretty cool. They gave me some alternative options for cost, which was really cool as well.

We were experiencing occasional water backups into the basement of our house. Wendricks White had been doing regular preventative rooting for us for years, but when the backup problems became more frequent, it was time for a more permanent fix. Wendricks White used a camera to assess the drainage pipes all the way from our house to the street. They then provided us with estimates for three different options to fix the problem and spent a lot of time explaining the details, advantages, and risks of each option. As has always been the case with Wendricks White, they never pressured us to go with the highest cost solution. Instead they objectively gave us all the information we needed to make a sound decision. We chose to have new drainage pipes installed leading to the street. The was a pretty big job, and the work took a few days. The guys from Wendricks White arrived first thing in the morning each day, worked quickly and efficiently, and worked throughout the entire day in spite of the blazing July heat. They gave us plenty of advance warning anytime they needed to shut off the water, and they took time to show us and explain the work they were doing. The work was completed with minimal disruption to our household or to the yard, and we have had zero problems with water in the basement since then. My husband and I have been loyal customers of Wendricks White since we first bought our house in 1993. They have always done right by us, and we would never consider using anyone else for our plumbing. Honest, friendly, knowledgeable - Wendricks White is just the best!

Most recently they unclogged a drain that had been slow running and stopping up for many years. They did it right and it works beautifully now.

Was travelling for work when I got a call from my wife that the cellar had flooded (sigh). Main sump pump had died and the secondary had a bad switch. Called them up and they came right out that night and fixed the problem. Did a nice job and was very responsive. When I was talking to him about the work he advised that we do the minimum needed since he was on overtime. All in all, it was a good experience and I'd use them again.

Good! It took some time to get the issue resolved, but it was completed.

They thought the project would take an hour and half , took the young man 45 minutes. This was a sub pump replacement and they changed everything very quick and clean.

My daughter went to the basement to get some laundry and found a flood of warm water. I called Wendrick's White at 8:00 and was pleased to find out that they could have someone out at my house in a few hours. Ken thoroughly explained my options and the pros and cons of each. Rather than put in a tankless water heater he recommend that I put in a slightly larger standard one. The cost for the 50gal unit was not prohibitive. Ken arrived exactly when I was told he would. A few days after the initial visit my wife notice a slight gas smell in the basement. I called and they had someone out in about an hour, found and resolved the problem very quickly. We have been pleased with the installation and service that we received from them. I would recommend them and will use them again.

They were very responsive when I called to set up the appointment. While I was on the phone they walked me through what they thought was wrong. When they arrived they fixed the issues with the sump pump and the wiring issues as well. They did a great job.

Called in the morning and they said they could be out later in the day. Received a call at 11:00 a.m. saying they could come right over. Ken came to the house and replaced the old sump pump with a new one. He worked quickly and completed the job in a short time. He then explained how the unit worked and also gave advice about maintenance for my battery back up sump pump. He also asked if I had any other plumbing problems or questions. He gave me his business card and said I could feel free to call if I ever had any plumbing questions. The company was quick and responsive and did first rate work. Cleaned up after he was done. I will definitely use this company again for any plumbing needs I have.

I had tried to fix the kitchen faucet myself and I didn't know what I was doing, I left it unusable. When I called I needed service quickly since I had no water supply to my kitchen. I got an appointment for the next day and since I couldn't get away from work for very long, Ken called when he was on his way so that I could meet him at my house. He tried at first to fix the existing faucet, but parts had broken off inside. He told me where to go to purchase a new faucet, how to measure and what to look for and we made another appointment for him to install it. He also looked at the shower head in the master bath and found that it was in good shape, it only had a piece of dip tube stuck in there which created a water flow problem. he took the time to check out the water heater to verify the age and the possibility that the dip tube hadn't been replaced (which should have happened before I purchased the home). He thought the water heater was still in good shape, putting my mind at ease. When he came back later to install the faucet, he found that a pipe underneath the sink had been configured improperly, so he replaced it with a better quality one that helped increase the water flow. He also brought new drains even for the insinkerator side, so everything looks new. The last pitfall was that the wall underneath the sink was in the way of installing the new soap dispenser, but Ken carries a small saw with him that fixed the problem in a minute. All in all, it was a great experience, his knowledge and competence was outstanding, he explained everything along the way, and I received the Angie's List discount! I was happy to tell him that I found my new plumber!!

We have used this company for a number of years. They have put in a toilet, cleaned drains, replaced piping, and other jobs. The overall experience was good. I would use this provider again.

The plumber called ahead saying that he could come early if that was OK with me, which it was. He arrived promptly, examined the toilet with my husband and proceeded to fix it. However, the sealer had to dry for a while so he asked if I had any other plumbing jobs to be done. I showed him the toilet in our basement, which hasn't worked since we moved in. He said that he could fix it but recommended that instead we purchase a new one as that would be more reliable and cost less in the long run. Result: the toilet no longer leaks. The bathroom was left spotless.

Very impressed with the quick and through service, and that they looked to save me money, when they could have gotten me the most expensive model.

They were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and affordable. They showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend this company for all your plumbing needs.

Hot water heater needed to be replaced. They quoted over the phone a price, brought the unit, installed and we were all good. Second time the lift station was not operating. The plumber tried to problem solve over the phone to save me a service call!! He did have to come and unclogged the unit and we are fine ever since. More than fair price and quick response.

Very pleased with work done by plumber and general contractor they use for remodeling. Everyone who worked on this job arrived and did the work in the time stated and answered any questions we had. All work was done to our extreme satisfaction. We are very pleased with the final results. We will be using this vendor again and have already recommended him to friends.
