I thought the man that gave the initial estimate had a great demeanor. The workman that did the work was slightly unprofessional in his demeanor but did great work.

All employees were friendly, reliable, efficient, polite, helpful & tidy. We were anxious about such a big & expensive product, but were very comfortable working with Thermalcraft, & so far very happy with the product (installed this week). We have 3 more windows to do, & will use Thermalcraft again. One small thing that impressed me: we asked to have the counterbalance channels insulated when the new windows were fitted, which was not part of the offered service. Thermalcraft agreed at no extra charge, & did the work without any further reminder. They really pay attention to detail & the customer's wishes. The salesman was very easy to deal with & I did not fell pressured in any way - which was what made us feel comfortable in the 1st place. You can find cheaper, but perhaps not better value. One piece of advice: having windows replaced is more messy than I expected, & on the second day we took care to put drop cloths on furniture, as the workers only covered the floor.

Jim Nelligan, the president of Thermalcraft Inc, came to our house the day after I contacted his company by email and gave us an estimate. We accepted and were told the windows would be in about 6 weeks later. Seven weeks later we were contacted, and the crew of Jack and Ron scheduled the work to be started the following week. They arrived at 8:30 on Wednesday morning and replaced the 21 windows in about 12 hours over 2 days. Work was excellent and clean up was complete. Windows look great!

Timely, professional. Work was top notch. However, they did not clean up after themselves, despite the fact that when I signed the contract, I told Bob Nelligan how important it was that the crew clean and sweep up. I have a two year old son and I didn't want dust, debris and nails laying around. Very good work, very sloppy workers.

Over two days in extremely inclement weather (freezing rain one day, single-digit temps the next), two gentlemen from Thermalcraft replaced 22 windows in my 56-year-old home. Despite the circumstances, they couldn't have been more pleasant and efficient. They also did a superb job with the clean-up, and in many cases went above and beyond by replacing the blinds they had removed to do the job. From placing the order to installing them, the Thermalcraft reps were professional and reputable. There was no hard-sell tactics, and no disappointment in the final product. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to others.

Barry took care of the initial estimate appointment. He was on time, very polite, and took time to explain everything to me. He gave me a very good price. 6 weeks later we had all but one window replaced. One did not get shipped, by accident. We are waiting for it's arrival. My mother-in-law also used the company to replace her window in her condo. They were there to work on the date they said. Windows look great! And it is much warmer in the house!

I initially dealt with Barry Nelligan, who was very professional. There was a six-week wait between signing the contract (and giving them a large deposit) and actually having the work done, but they did tell me about this up front. On the day originally scheduled, the workers showed up late because their first job of the day had run longer than expected. It was not clear if this was a scheduling mistake or an unforeseen fluke. After standing around for about 45 minutes talking to each other and on their cell phones, the installers said they would not be able to complete the job before it got dark, so rescheduled it for two days later. If I did not work at home, this would have been a HUGE inconvenience, but because I do it was only a minor one. Once they finally did the work, it was finished in the time they estimated (4-5 hours) and I think they did a good job. They were very careful about not tracking in mud and also borrowed my vacuum to clean up after themselves.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB.

This was a great experience considering the size of the job and the dollars we were spending. The 18 windows were replaced in 3-4 days with no issues. The siding work was also very well done. All of the workers were courteous and respectful of our property. They cleaned up all of the work debris both inside and outside. Barry Nelligan called during the middle of the job to see if we had any issues/questions, and did a complete walkthrough prior to the final payment. This family-owned business is well run and I would recommend their services to others.

Owner, Jim Nelligan came by to do estimate. Provided info and no more. Product looked comparable to others, but price was reasonable. Product arrived with bad paint job around window frame of doors. Had to be touched up. If doors weren't needed I would have returned them. Call Jim Nelligan to discuss paint job but he never returned my call. Installers did a very good job and doors look very good.

What a great company. Barry took care of everything, from the time I first called in to the day of the installation. The gentlemen who installed the windows were great! Courteous, polite, and FAST! I would not hesitate to use these guys again.

I CALLED THERMALCRAFT AND LEFT A MESSAGE ON THEIR ANSWERING MACHINE. I REQUESTED AN ESTIMATE ON A WINDOW CAPPING JOB. THERMALCRAFT NEVER RETURNED MY CALL.

FROM THE LOW PRESSURE INITIAL SALES CALL TO THE HAULING AWAY OF DEBRIS, THIS EXPERIENCE WAS PAINLESS, AND EASY ON US. THE OWNER DIDN'T NEED TO PUSH HIS COMPANY ON US, BECAUSE HE WAS CONFIDENT THAT HE GIVES THE BEST VALUE FOR THE BEST RESULT, AND HE IS CORRECT. ALL WE DID TO PREPARE WAS TO TAKE DOWN THE WINDOW TREATMENTS, AND MAKE SURE THAT THE CREW HAD PLENTY OF ROOM TO WORK. THEY THANKED US FOR BEING PREPARED, WHICH MAKES ME WONDER WHY PEOPLE WOULD MAKE SOMEONE'S JOB HARDER FOR THEM. THE TWO GENTLEMEN WORKED ON OUR HOUSE FOR TWO DAYS, AND WERE TRUE CRAFTSMAN. THEY LEFT NO TRACES OF THEIR WORK BEHIND. I COULD NOT FIND SO MUCH AS A NAIL OR DRILL SHAVINGS, TRUST ME, I LOOKED, NOT BECAUSE I AM ULTRA PICKY, BUT BECAUSE I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT. THEY EVEN TOOK THE TIME TO SHOW US HOW TO OPERATE THE WINDOWS SINCE THEY ARE SEVERAL GENERATIONS NEWER THAN THE 36 YEAR OLD ONES THEY REPLACED. VERY NICE PEOPLE, AND VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE FOR US.

THE GENTLEMAN WHO CAME OUT THE 2ND TIME WAS OK FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS, THEN WE HAD PROBLEMS WITH HIM. THE COMPANY & THEIR RESPONSIVENESS WERE ALL FINE, THE PROBLEMS WERE JUST FROM THE MEN SENT TO INSTALL.

THEIR OFFICE STAFF AND PERSONNEL WERE VERY GOOD.

SALESMAN WAS NICE & PUNCTUAL. CHOSE NOT TO GO WITH THIS COMPANY AS ANOTHER COMPANY HAD SLIGHTLY BETTER OPTIONS FOR DEALING WITH A CUSTOM REPLACEMENT JOB.

WOULD CALL ON THEM FOR OTHER ESTIMATES IN THE FUTURE.

UNFORTUNATELY THEY WERE VERY EXPENSIVE. SPENDING $420 PER WINDOW WAS NOT MY IDEA OF A GOOD PRICE. WILL BE LOOKING AROUND. THEY WERE VERY NICE, EVEN COMING A LITTLE EARLY TO THE APPOINTMENT, BUT TOO EXPENSIVE.

OUR SALES REP, TIM BRYCE, WAS VERY PROMPT, POLITE AND CONSIDERATE. HE SHOWED US THE COMPANIES CREDENTIALS AND LISTENED TO OUR SPECIFIC NEEDS. TIM NOT ONLY TOOK OUR ORDER, BUT ALSO HAD SOMEONE COME OUT AND MEASURE THE DOORS FOR ACCURACY. THE DOORS TOOK SOME TIME TO ARRIVE AS THEY WERE CUSTOM ORDERED. THE COMPANY ALSO TOOK CARE OF PULLING THE APPROPRIATE PERMIT IN OUR TOWN. THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS PUNCTUAL AND INSTALLED THE DOORS PERFECTLY. THE SITE WAS ALSO LEFT CLEAN. THE NEW DOORS NOT ONLY MAKE OUR HOUSE LOOK GOOD, BUT WILL HELP KEEP OUR ENERGY BILL DOWN. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH OUR NEW DOORS AND THE SERVICE WE RECEIVED.

QUOTE WAS GIVEN AS WE HAD SCHEDULED. INSTALLATION OCCURRED AROUND THE DATE PROMISED BY SALESMAN. INSTALLERS WERE PROMPT, WORKED HARD ALL DAY AND KEPT PROPERTY NEAT. ALL DEBRIS HAULED AWAY. WINDOWS ARE JUST AS PROMISED. I'M EXTREMELY PLEASED.

WITHIN 24 HOURS OF CALLING THERMAL CRAFT, THE OWNER, JIM, CAME OUT TO ESTIMATE THE JOB. HE WAS FRIENDLY, AND HELPFUL. THE INSTALLERS WERE PROMPT AND CLEANED UP THEIR MESS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

WINDOWS WERE INSTALLED IN THE TIME FRAME STATED TO US. THOUGH WE HAD TO WAIT 8 WEEKS AS SUMMER IS A BUSY TIME OF THE YEAR, THEY CALLED US WHEN THE TIME CAME TO DO THE WORK. THE WORKERS WERE PROFESSIONAL AND ALL WORK WAS COMPLETED IN 1 DAY. THEIR PRICING WAS VERY COMPETITIVE, IN FACT, HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS LESS THAN THE FIRST CONTRACTOR WE CONTACTED. WE WOULD DEFINITELY DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

BARRY NELLIGAN WAS VERY POLITE, FRIENDLY AND PUNCTUAL. I DID NOT HAVE POSITIVE EXPERIENCES AS A SINGLE FEMALE HOMEOWNER WITH MANY OTHER WINDOW REPS. BARRY GAVE ME A FAIR PRICE WITH A GOOD ESTIMATE FOR WHEN THE WORK COULD BE COMPLETED. THE WORKERS WERE BOTH ON TIME, NEAT, AND I APPRECIATE BOTH.
