Home Build specializes in installations or replacement windows, doors, and siding. Home Build is a locally owned and operated home improvement contractor. At Home Build, every project is owner sold, supervised and approved. We’ve been providing superior products and customer-focused service for Chicago northwestern suburbs homeowners since 1997. I was replacing all of my basement windows because the wood frames were rotten in places and had lead paint. The previous basement windows were really high quality of a type that doesn't exist anymore (hoppers that open in and from the bottom) but I chose to replace because I didn't want any wood or lead paint left. When I met in person with the salesman, he told me that is what they would do because of course the wood was obviously damaged. The contract said "replacement window, new flashing", which I thought meant what the salesman told me, the entire frame. The person who came to measure called me on the phone, and he told me that all the damaged wood would stay, but I didn't understand him well over the phone. When the windows were actually installed, they left virtually all of the damaged wood and lead paint. They came back today not to make plans to fix anything, just to insist to my face that I was wrong and they were right, and the salesman didn't count.

We replaced 23 windows in our home with higher end Anderson windows. Steve and his team showed up on time every day, were respectful of our home, and did a great job. Steve has done work for us in our homes since 2013 and we will stick with him as long as he continues to blow us away with his quality of work. And he's such a nice guy. Highly recommend.

We hired Homebuild to replace the windows, door, siding, gutters, soffit & fascia on our 1950s-era home. Although their windows and materials were top-notch, their quote was still competitive with other contractors... But what especially set them apart was their service and attention to detail. I could tell they really care about their customers and go the extra mile! All of the installers were professional, friendly, efficient, and cleaned up afterwards. From start to finish, Homebuild was a pleasure to work with, and I will definitely be hiring them for other projects in the future!!

HomeBuild recently completed my windows, siding ,and doors, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the very first job site visit with Steve, the experience was unmatched compared to others companies. Steve was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through all the product lines that fit both my home and my budget. The pricing was very reasonable, and he clearly explained the advantages of choosing HomeBuild. Knowing they use their own team of installers was a huge plus for me. When the crew arrived,their trucks were professional branded,which immediately set them apart. The installers were polite,respectful, and made sure to carefully cover all my furniture and floors. After the job was done,my home was spotless- no debris left behind! This was a refreshing change from past experience with plumbers and electricians where I always ended up cleaning up afterwards. The siding crew maintained that same level of care throughout their work. Once the project was complete, Danielle from office called to make sure I was fully satisfied with the results.She also provided me with their service number in case I ever need assistance in the future. HomeBuild offers a fantastic labor warranty, and their entire team is as amazing as the owner, Steve. I’m thrilled with the outcome and excited to continue working with HomeBuild for my next and final project-my roof! This was the third time using Home build for our remodeling project. This time they've replaced all the windows and two doors in our second house. The entire experience has been tremendous from dealing with Steve and Martin to ongoing status communication to the installation itself. Everything was extremely professional. We are very happy with our new windows and doors. Total cleanup by the installation crew and quick removal of old windows was outstanding and greatly appreciated.
