Capital Chimney was very professional, responsive, and efficient. We are happy with the work done by Charles B, and the quotes and advice provided by Dominic C. They have actual humans answering their phones promptly. They were on time for both appointments and called when they said they would with a precise arrival time on the day of the work. Their quotes were solid and they took the time to clearly explain why they were recommending the work. They also provided before and after pictures. They did not try to upsell and applied no pressure to engage them for additional work, despite having opportunities to do so. In fact, they recommended cheaper alternatives to solving drafts down one chimney as I was pursuing more expensive solutions with them, and we ended up saving about $1,600 over what I had originally thought we needed. While we didn’t get multiple quotes like usual, my impression is they were probably on the expensive side for the work performed, but competence, trustworthiness, and professionalism are worth paying for.

Great communication and ease in scheduling. Derek and Fabian called prior to arrival. Booties put on upon entering my home, which was very much appreciated with the snow. Chimney was swept and cap put on. Originally, didn’t plan on a cap, however Derek explained the benefits and I decided to follow his recommendation. I did not feel pressure, nor was he pushy. Prices were fair and amazing. I had gotten several estimates and their company was the best by far. Excellent customer service, great work, fair prices... I highly recommend this company. Capital Chimney was professional from beginning to end. Dominic came out explaining what needed to be done and why and gave us a quote. We were given a wide selection of brick that allowed us to find a perfect match. Derrick and John did an amazing job of doing the job. Hard to find a team like this!

After I sent an email Dominic called the same day and setup an appointment. Him and another gentleman showed up within the agreed time and covered all the furniture by the fireplace and started to clean. When they where done we went over the work that needed to be done from their inspection. They took pictures to show me how bad the structure was in disrepair. We talked prices and got the coupon they were offering. We agreed on extending the chimney to code and putting a new top on it. A lot of mortar was missing in the actual chimney shaft so they would put a steel encasement and seal it on both sides. Finally chalk the sides to the 2 story chimney. We set up another appointment and they came back a week later and started work right away. They were finished in about 6 hours, cleaned up after themselves nicely. We are very please with their work and will use them again,

We had a serious blockage (bird nesting) in our furnace chimney that caused the carbon monoxide to come back into our home. Dominic removed the blockage quickly and professionally. They also installed a new chimney cap to make sure the birds wouldn't come back. Would definitely hire again for other chimney needs.

Excellent. Project required replacing more bricks than originally thought and the team still got it done sooner than planned. New bricks and mortar match existing and whole chimney looks great and is no longer leaking.
