Our new computer system still has a few bugs we are trying to work out (one of which is not notifying our reps if their schedule changes). The company was recommended to me by a family member who used them many years ago. The salesman came out to quote the job. He appeared knowledgeable and professional. After that initial visit, it was like pulling teeth to get pricing and answers to my questions. After several attempts to get some answers, I gave up.
Then, weirdly enough, someone from the company called ME to find out how things were going. After explaining what happened, they told me they would be sending out their "#2 guy". I made the appointment, took the time off from work and sat and waited; but, no one showed and no one called.
Several days later, the original salesman had the nerve to call me. He claimed that he had stopped by my house; oh and that just happened to be BEFORE the appointment they set with me (surprise, no one was home). I told him to never call me again.
But, AGAIN, a week or two later, I received a call from someone else at the company to find out if I had any questions and if I had decided on what I was doing. I laughed and told him to stop calling me; there really was not much more you can do at that point.
As far as the quality of their work, I cannot comment on that, since I never got past the quote. As I said, a family member was happy with the work they did for him many years ago; so, hopefully, this was just an isolated experience.
It was one of the most unprofessional and bizarre experiences I've had with a company. I don't know if this was a case of an overworked salesman or maybe they had too much work and weren't interested in doing my job. But, based on the repeated calls initiated by THEM, it's obvious that, at the very least, they don't talk to each other. As I said...bizarre...
I ended up using a different company and I was VERY happy with that company and the work they did. So, maybe it was meant to be.

I know things did not go as smoothly as we like and for that I cannot apologize enough. As we discussed, we do normally give you a written quote on the spot but in this case Brian was trying to find some options for you to possibly have the windows repaired to save you from unnecessary expense. Granted, he did not do the best job of following up and getting back to you (thus the reason I like them to quote when they are sitting at the table with you). I have discussed this with him and believe me, he understands the error of his ways! We are using this as a training exercise so that everyone understands exactly how important communication is. I would like to once again tell you how sorry we are that your experience with Excel was not what it should have been.
