They were wonderful. They did a great job. They came when they said they were going to come and they did the work exactly as they said they were going to do it. We were very, very pleased with them. Their price was quite reasonable in comparison to other quotes we received. In fact it was the lowest quote and we often worry about that but they came through. We would recommend them to anyone. They were very pleasant to deal with and they were not high pressure at all like other window replacement companies. They stuck with the price that they quoted. They did the work on time. The workmen were very nice and they cleaned up afterwards. There was very little left behind, which we appreciated. We can already tell that we are saving energy. They were very quick on their response; we actually delayed them. They arrived right on the dot, which was amazing. We were very, very impressed. It was a nice experience all the way around. We would absolutely use them again.

I like Excel. I think they are very professional. They have done work for me before years ago. I like how they handle the workers, how they install the windows and clean up. They are attentive to my needs so I called them again. I like the new window! I thought the price was fair, although I have not priced other people. I am going to use them again soon for doors at another home.

Tony came out initially to provide a quote on new windows for the building. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the products Excel offers. He provided me with multiple choices and even had a window that he brought with to show me how they look and work. I also received two other bids from other local window companies. While Excel was in the middle on the price, I was impressed with how prepared and knowledgeable Tony was throughout his pitch. Also, I felt really good about the product he was selling. All of these factors led me to select Excel as the provider. After I gave Tony the go ahead that I was going to use Excel, he immediately had Tom (their installer) come out and take measurements. Earlier, I had explained to Tony that I really wanted the windows replaced before I moved into the building and that would occur in about a month and a half. Tony was up front with me about the time frame and said that he would do the best he can to get them rushed but it could be 4-6 weeks before they receive the windows. About 1 month after Tom came out, I received a call to schedule installation in about 3 business days. This was a great turn around time, and I really appreciated the effort they made to get the job done asap. Tom came out when he said he would with his crew and all of the windows were installed in 1 day. Again, this was better than expected because I tested positive for lead paint around the window openings which typically translates to a much longer installation process because of EPA compliance. I was very happy that everything got installed that day. Moreover, I was very satisfied that the Excel team was able to meet my projects deadline and really worked hard to do so.

There's a reason why Excel has so many good responses on "the List". I had two bow windows installed. The windows arrived just when Tony (my salesman) said. Tony was a wonderful salesman--very courteous and helpful. Brian and Tim did the install and were the utmost in caring for the inside of my home and I had virtually no clean up! The windows are stunning and all was orchestrated very, very well. You won't be sorry--so glad I had Angie's List for the best referrals. Even the owner, Chris, called to make sure all went well. What more could you ask for?! Great sales: Tony. Great install: Tim & Brian. And, with Chris at the helm, well, "good Quality" starts at the top!! There were some glitches; one of the windowpanes was broken, and had to be replaced. The pane was replaced, but when we got a strong rain, my Eastern garden window was leaking badly. After contacting Excel, they suggested I call the manufacturer. While the people at Excel are friendly, their supplier was most definitely not. The supplier was not helpful at all; in fact the woman who I talked to treated me like I was trying to rip them off. I contacted Excel again, and they came out to see what the problem was. It turns out there wasn't enough flashing to keep the rain out, so they installed more flashing, and now there is no problem at all. I must commend Julie for her help; Excel was extremely responsive to my needs. She was surprised that the manufacturer treated me like this. I don't want the treatment I got from the manufacturer to reflect on the Excel people.

Workers arrived early and were very efficient. Everyone at Excel was easy to work with and things went very smooth. The clean up was superior and the installers worked very hard and did not even take a lunch break. Very good follow up with any questions after the installation. Excel is always there for you.

There was one problem, a window that didn't come in through the fault of the manufacturer. They followed up on it nicely even though it took a little longer than expected. Their service is very good. The only complaint I have is that they didn't tell me the shutters wouldn't cover like the old ones. Overall, it was a very good experience, however.

Tim and his crew were wonderful. Aside from being great contractors, they were perfect house guests. The work was performed on one of the coldest days of the year. Since they did one window at a time, my house did not get cold! I highly recommend Excel Windows. The windows are a bit pricey, but the quality is the highest. You get what you pay for!
