Prompt, great communication, price was expected, no sticker shock. Took the time to address our needs in advance of the installation visit. Finally, one thing that I've read about some other companies(yes, I did online research), they cleaned everything up. Nothing for us to do. In closing, this turned out to a great choice for us.

We used American Radon for a radon mitigation system, which is not listed as one of the job choices in this review system. After discovering that we had a higher than normal level of radon in our basement, we did some research and decided to call American Radon Systems in Frankfort, IL. Colleen Dahlstom answered the phone and was very helpful and nice. She arranged for her husband Bill to come out the very same day (a Saturday never the less). Bill came out a few hours later and explained what needed to be done and gave us a much more reasonable quote than some others we explored. We were set to go on vacation the following week so Bill set it up to come back out the very day we returned (another Saturday, which was convenient). He said he would be out between 8 and 9 AM but would call us when he as on his way. He called us a little before 8 and said he was on his way. He once again explained everything that he would be doing and after he and his assistant put down protective coverings over our entire floor area from the outside all the way down our basement stairway, they got right to work installing the system. About 4 hours later, the system was installed and operating just as Bill had explained. He and his assistant cleaned up and left everything very clean. We then received a summary of our bill and our warranty via email shortly after they left. We are very happy with the job Bill did and would highly recommend American Radon Systems to anyone. Not only did they do a great job, but Bill and Colleen are two of the nicest people you'd ever meet. They are first class people and did a first class job.

Was very prompt, friendly and was very clean. Even though this project required drilling large holes in the concrete and walls, he left the project area very clean!

Bill was very professional and does beautiful work. The most impressive thing was his promptness. Another great quality is his follow up. There was a very small condensation leak around one of the pipes...these things happen to the best of contractors. The thing is, we all know how difficult it can be to get a contractor back out AFTER they get their money. NOT IN THIS CASE !! I called Bill on Sunday and he asked if the problem was serious. I said is was not......he came out the next day and promptly made the necessary repair. What more can you ask for?? Bill, thanks for a great job !!!!!

I needed a quote for Radon Mitigation, checked HomeAdviso, and found American radon. Bill called me within a half hour, and showed up here within an hour to look over the job and give me an estimate. Within two hours I had an e-mailed estimate. I called him back to do the job, he was here within a couple of days, the work was done very well and there was absolutely no clean up for me. It was all done. I would definitely recommend this company if you're looking to get mitigation done.

Fabulous customer service! Instead of just quoting a price and starting the job, Bill took the time to speak with me and determine the best method to perform the work that made both my husband and I comfortable with the final results. Bill was very responsive to my communications and worked with us to get the work done as quickly as possible. As an added bonus, Bill was quite personable and made sure we understood the radon elimination process and follow-up steps for the future. I would highly recommend American Radon Systems to anyone.

Fast and great price

Bill and Colleen were an absolute breeze to work with. I had a bit of a crisis as we were trying to get clear to close on our new home and I needed an estimate on very short notice. Not only did Bill answer the phone and my questions right away, but he was able to come out the next day and get me a very fair, written estimate for the work. Scheduling the installation was also easy and Bill and his helper were there on time and got done in about 4-5 hrs. They were very respectful, very friendly and exceptionally clean. I only wish I could hire him for some other projects around the house!

American Radon systems installed a mitigation system in my home this past weekend 11/5. The owner was the most pleasant that I have ever worked with in all my years as a homeowner. He new the business was very professional and made sure to take care of the surrounding area's of work with protection for carpteing, floors etc. Installed the system in alloted time and cleaned up all work after. I thought it was going to be installed in a different area which would have been an inconvenience but he installed in another area that made the job more accesible and not so hard on the eyes. I would refer American Randon to any homeowner or sell that needs a radom mitigation system installed.

I wish every company was as easy and pleasant to work with. From beginning to end of the project the costumer service was excellent, job done professionally with quality and care. Would definitely use again!!
