great service. The radon was dropped from 6 to 0.8 in the basement and 3.7 to 0.45 in a bedroom on the 2nd floor. They also left an extra silicon tube for me to use on the future cracks if necessary. The price was good compared to the other companies doing similar work.

American Radon Systems was the first to respond to my request for a quote for radon mitigation. Within two days he came out to our home so his price would be as accurate as possible. He took his time explaining what he would do and answered all of our questions. We received a verbal quote at that meeting and a formal, detailed written quote followed. After accepting his quote we set up a date for mitigation installation. He arrived on time and completed the job the same day as planned. In fact, he found a few things not related to mitigation that needed repair and fixed them for us at no additional charge. His team was neat and worked quietly, keeping me informed of their progress. I would definitely recommend American Radon Systems.

Bill was great to work with. Not only did he complete the fan replacement but when he discovered an error from the original installer he took care of it no questions asked. Will hire him again next time.

Contractor did not have everything he needed when he arrived and had to leave for an hour to go to the store. Left most of the cable for a battery back up sump pump in the sump basin so that there was not enough to connect to the battery. It was left unconnected so that the wire could be fed through the basin cover. They use an inexpensive solid cover that they cut across and then used silicone. Not the neatest installation. I will probably have the cover replaced with a raised radon sump basin cover with rubber grommets and better access to the basin. I was on site through out the job and should have been asked what to do with the battery wire. When I discovered the situation, after they left and I called, they blamed me for not having the battery connected. They admitted seeing all the cable in the basin but they just left it in there without pulling the additional cable out before applying the silicone. The system does work but the customer service was not very good in my situation.
