Jolanta is very professional in her expert approach to remodeling. She made suggestions that opened our basement into a large airy and comfortable space. Our idea to finish an exercise room turned into an open space for entertaining with compartmentalized space for exercise equipment, dance studio, and wet bar. Jolanta helped us work with the space and shape of our home. She showed us how we could still have a wet bar without it being previously plumbed for one. Our contractor was amazing. He did everything-framing, taping, plumbing, electrical, painting neatly and expertly. Jolanta and her team were kind and patient and helped us work through, questions, ideas, and our own challenges and mistakes. I would definitely recommend this company. We were treated kindly, and with respect. It was a pleasure to work with Jolanta and her team.We had no idea our remodel would prove so beautiful and pain-free! We felt like we had beyond excellent quality of work and very fair and equitable prices and selection. A high caliber company...Jolanta is very knowledgeable and her employees/colleagues provide excellent materials and craftsmanship!

It was a pleasure working with Jolanta on our basement and bathroom remodel. She was detailed, outlining the scope of work, attentive to what we needed and made helpful suggestions. Martin and Andy were punctual, polite and helpful and gave me a summary each morning of the work to be done for that day. The quality of the work was exceptional. These guys worked hard... and fast. The worksite was cleaned up really well at the end of every day.They went above and beyond even hanging my new blinds. The customer service of Jolanta, Martin and Andy was truly outstanding. I would certainly hire them again for future projects.

Once work started, Martin and crew were so punctual that we could use their arrival to time our activities!! The crew was fantastic, prompt and thoroughly professional. Jolanta is a hands-on owner of this fantastic company. She stays close to the project - from the scope phase all the way through to the final sign-off. She kept in close contact and she was very responsive to changes that my wife and I requested along the way. Jolanta and her team was very patient with us. We asked for a number of changes mid-project and they responded very well. Her construction team is highly skilled and they made our basement like a work of art. We are so happy with it. It is warm, bright and very livable. The experience of working with her team on a day-to-day basis was fantastic. They became like family and we were a little sad to see them go. We are extremely glad we did this project with Jolanta and her team. We highly recommend Excellent Construction.

Our experience with Excellent Construction was great from start to finish. We were given a very fair estimate, that was extremely detailed, laying out what would be covered under the contract and the items we would need to purchase. The crew arrived at 8 am and left at 5 pm, as promised. They do very nice work and kept the work space as clean as possible. They were careful not to track dirt into the other areas of our house. The whole process was very fluid because members of the crew were certified electricians and plumbers, so there was no waiting on any specialists, the crew handled it all, except for the countertop and carpet at the very end. The project was done in the exact time that we were promised. We were surprised at how fast it all was done. Jolanta was attentive to the progress of the process, and there was also a crew member who was very helpful with deciding the many details that needed attention. Jolanta and the crew were courteous and a joy to work with. We are very happy with the results! We would recommend them to family and friends, and we plan on using them for future projects.

I chose Excellent Construction out of four (4) contractors and their estimates. I was very pleased with Jolanta since she was quick to respond, stay in contact and prompt to come back to me with a sketch and an estimate. Right after her first visit, I knew my search for a contractor to do the bathroom in my basement was over. She was knowledgeable, precise, to the point and extremely cost conscious. The guys she sent to my house to do the work were also professionals with great workmanship. They finished the work on a very timely manner (2 weeks) and did a nice clean up at the end. Because of my satisfaction with their work from the beginning, I added other projects such as finishing a closet in the bedroom adjacent to the bathroom, a storage room and some repairs in my garage for them to do, that I would have waited for otherwise!! Since Excellent Construction gave me the option to shop for the things for my bathroom, doing the whole project was so much fun. I am 100% satisfied with my finished project and I received many compliments on my new beautiful bathroom and other work. Thanks, Home Advisors!!

Had the pleasure of partnering with Jolanta & her team for our our "mini" renovation i.e. refinishing 1200 sqft basement to include full bath, laundry room (move existing laundry from mudroom on main floor) reading nook, fireplace, entertainment area, bedroom & two separate new staircases. CONSULTAITON: Upon arrival Jolanta was prepared with taking measurements & hand drawn schematic drawings for each room; discussed options & feasibility for structural modifications/changes. DEMO DAY: the team was quick, efficient and maintained a consistent level of cleanliness upon their departure EACH DAY & throughout the project scope. COMMUNICATION: was key and I felt very comfortable working with the team on layouts, structural changes & appreciated their expertise when sometimes the answer was 'no' because of structural safety or existing ducts which could not be moved. I valued their creativity to give me the final results on my new staircase, bathroom, reading nook and laundry room (our project was tough at times because existing duct work could not be eliminated or moved). They always approached me with questions to ensure I approved any changes to layouts due to unforeseen issues. ATTENTION TO DETAIL/QUALITY: Jolanta and her team consistently demonstrated attention to details throughout the project & the quality of work was brought to life in the final results. I enjoyed doing the design & communicating with the team what my vision was for certain areas of the basement & then finally seeing it come to life! COST: Extremely competitive to say the least. I always had the same team working throughout the scope of the project & the value of their craftmanship & hard work is evident in the final results & the materials used. Would I hire again and recommend? Absolutely.
