+ 1 moreThey arrived on time each day, were personable, professional and enjoyed the curiosity of my cats (when they escaped to the basement as I tried to keep them out of the construction area as all home owners ought to do). They also tolerated my frequent checking and questions without the slightest tone of annoyance. I had a horrible home remodel experience in the past so I kept asking why they were doing certain things. The room never looked better. Their price was average to slightly above average but fair for the work completed. Those who quoted lower probably wouldn't have been as punctual and good. Really, neither would those who quoted higher as they really didn't want to do the work.
Description of Work: Lots of drywall in the basement, including patching the ceiling. Install a ground level window, paint, install light fixture and various "since you are here" items.

+ -1 moreNail It was on time and got the work completed so that the house was structurally sound and passed our city inspection (and our city is known to be very picky) Joe had to complete extensive repairs on the house and everything that was needed he completed with ease. He is a master carpenter who works with knowledge and speed. We are going to use him again on future projects.
Description of Work: We purchased a foreclosed house that needed extensive rehab. Joe was the answer to our prayers. He had to complete structural repairs and bring the house up to code. There were many changes and add ons because the house was in such disrepair at the beginning that our inspector failed to notice. Once Joe finished with floor joists repairs, wall repairs, and adding headers we were able to complete our remodel and now it is a lovely home. Joe was very skilled, pleasent and professional!!
