There was a long country road that they had rocked, and my daughter drove over it, and apparently a rock came up and knocked out a wire that went to the transmission. The first information I got from anyone was that I had to have a new transmission. Jack Stoldts stayed with it, and he called me three days in a row trying to avoid replacing my transmission, and they finally found that wire, he didn't, one of his workers did. He stayed with it, stayed with it, and stayed with it, and he was honest enough and didn't mess me over with all kinds of parts he didn't use, which is what you wind up with in a lot of places, even dealerships, there is no time for a bottom line, and they'll push that pencil until that bottom line gets them what they want. The cost came in layers, I don't recall, but it was acceptable. I knew how much time he had put into it, and he saved me so much money, I was very happy with his honesty and the way he pressed, he kept the car for a long time, kept trying and trying and trying, calling me, and they put a lot of time into it, and his bill was more than reasonable compared to the amount of time he put into it. I have used him plenty of times already.

The price was appropriate. The owner of the business' name is Steve Kunz. He's the guy that is so true to his customers, and so even handed on what to charge and so on. He's good to his workers, he's not trying to be a millionaire, he's just a good fella.

Called Steve @ Jack Stoldt's told him I have a hydraulic leak in one of my fleet vehicles, he said "Bring it right in" Steve always calls within a couple hours confirming the problem and what it would cost to complete the repairs parts and labor before proceeding with the work. Because of their competitive rates including the fast turn a round and quality workmanship I will continue to appreciate their professional service. They made the following repairs Make & R&R Hose, R&R Battery, installed premium AW 32 HYD Fl 5 Gallons, hydraulic hose and fittings and a battery I had the Ford back on the road a day later.

He went above and beyond what he was supposed to do. He found some extra things other than changing the oil that needed to be fixed. And he gave them to us a decent price!

It was fine. The staff are very nice. The had a lot of experience and know what they were doing.

I dropped in with no appointment, got my car fixed, and the price was reasonable. Good place, will go back for sure.

The air conditioner works fine now. They have also looked at things I was told elsewhere that I needed replaced and told me they were ok. Very HONEST Place.

First time customer due to being new to Springfield. Took my car in on Thursday, parts were here on Monday, my car was fixed on Monday! Quote and actual price of my repair were the same. My boyfriend took my car in, dropped it off and picked it up so I did not deal directly with the staff. My boyfriend was very pleased and satisfied. I did not rate the price due to not knowing the going rate and did not have any other comparable/quotes. All round good experience. Would highly recommend Jack Stoltz.

He is very trustworthy, dependable, and overall a great mechanic. I have been going to him for at least 10 years. In times of need he has also provided me with a car to use until mine was ready, and I was not expecting anything like this. Their service is always above and beyond my expectations.
