Everything went smoothly and I am highly satisfied with the job Powerdyne did. The removal and install took about half a day.

They did an exceptional job and they were very professional. They did what they said they were going to do and the finished art that they did was very good. They also referred some good quality people to me.

Mark Whitney is a very professional and efficient electrical specialty contractor that does high voltage work. My electric service was only turned off for about half and hour and the whole utility pole replacement project took about 4 hours or so. During the process of finding and deciding on a contractor to hire to replace my pole, I had a lot of questions and Mark graciously answered them patiently as well as explaining the process to me which includes getting clearance from JULIE/Digger before digging. The process of getting a new utility pole to replace my broken one involved digging up the old one, augering or digging a deep hole, and tamping the new pole into place after which the electric/telephone lines were spliced and transferred to the new pole. The old utility pole was cut up and taken away and the work area sawdust was cleaned up. The equipment carrying truck was parked far enough away from my neighbor's garage door in order to allow access. I can't say enough about how smoothly the job went - I never had a utility pole replaced before so it was a really big deal to me which caused a lot of worrying. I was also quite happy that the concrete around my garage didn't need to be broken. I was concerned about the proper licensing and insurance which Mark also provided to me as well as a one year warranty on the work done by Powerdyne. So overall, I am very happy and relieved with the outcome of my utility pole replacement. The only thing I would do differently is I would have done it sooner rather than later. If you need a new utility pole, Powerdyne is the company to call. I called a few other high voltage contractors but I am glad that I decided to use Powerdyne even though there weren't any reports on AngiesList. I usually use contractors with reviews here so I was very hesitant but Mark put my concerns to rest.
