I always have this company for 25yrs now. They communicate very well. They really do a good job. I always recommend this company to all my friends.

During furnace check Matt found we needed a new starter for blower motor. He ordered it and replaced it a few days later. This way he replaced it before we would wake up one cold morning without heat. Matt is a great technician. Very thorough. We have been a customer of Phillips since we moved to Saint Charles eight years ago. We always have been satisfied. Beth in customer service is excellent. I highly recommend them!

AC had finally failed after slowly leaking coolant for several years.  Furnace was original.  We have used Phillips for seasonal service over the years but we did obtain additional competitive bids.  PHC offered a competitive price for high quality equipment and we were already familiar with their service, which has always been superior.  Pat was able to advise on the choices of equipment, the different capabilities, and informed us on how this would affect our comfort levels as well as what rebates were available for different types of equipment.  At no time did we feel like we were being pressured or oversold - and we received prices for several options so that we could compare and decide. 
The installation process was outstanding - they hoped to be done in about 8 hours but were done in 6, meaning we enjoyed working A/C all afternoon.  They protected our flooring and left the work areas cleaner than they started.  The 3-man crew of Mike, George, and Steve worked with a smile on their face and were polite and articulate throughout.  We did have to answer several questions for them which helped them ensure they did things the way that we wanted.  They did not mind our pestering questions about their work.
I would highly recommend PHC.

To be fair the company did a good job with the repair of my furnace.  The problem for me was the way the billing was handled. My unit needed a new blower motor and when the diagnoses was made I asked the price which I was told was $600 dollars, I said," Including Labor?" And he said, "yes." The repair proceeded fine and the work was good. However when he presented the bill it was 750 dollars, a 150 more than I was quoted. I complained about this but there was no adjustment offered.  After he left I looked up the cost of the blower for my furnace it was about a  $150 dollar item. He spent about an hour on the repair. So at this point I think $650 an hour?? That seems a bit excessive to me, that and the failure to hold to his estimate was to my way of thinking poor business practice.

Pat came to the house, reviewed our situation, gave us options and an estimate. The installation team came out within days and installed our new A/C unit. From start to finish, the team at Phillips Heating and Cooling was professional, courteous, and efficient. We will need additional work done on our second A/C system and you can bet that we will have Phillips do the work! The company is locally and family owned, which is a bonus!

Last spring we had those really hard days it was really hot and the air-conditioning wasn’t cooling and we called them and they were able to come out in fairly quick amount of time to come and check it out. They were responsive to us.

They arrived promptly.  The work was done quickly and cleanly.  They explained what minimal maintenance we needed to do and how the systems operate.  We have received a follow up  call and visit.  We highly recommend this family owned and operated company. 

I trust them. They did what they were supposed to do, and the price was fair. They were nice and did the work quickly. I got a lot of work done by them. My experience with them was fine; however, there was a small matter I was hoping they would take care of but they didn?t complete that. I wanted them to come out and take a look at something, and they weren?t that interested in doing that. I would use them in the future because I bought the unit from them.

We had no problems with them. We called them again because we were happy with their work. They were reasonably priced and they were professional. We thought that they did a good job. They gave us a window for when they will be there and they showed up with that window.

I am satisfied with his work. The price is reasonable and he is always competent. I will grade him high on all categories except for the punctuality.

Excelllent. Office staff called a number of times to describe where the service man was and when he would be over. Called again to say that he was on the way. Fixed, what sounded like, a common problem. Also showed me how to clean the drainage trap in case it blocks again. One of the best clean & checks of a furance I've seen. He actually took the furnace apart to clean it. Inside, outside, and around the furnace was cleaned.

They responded promptly and were on time for the service call. Cleaned and checked the unit thoroughly.

I gave up on them and would not rely on them if they called now since it has been several days since my initial call.

Steve was brilliant! We are new homeowners and he was able to both clean and check the furnace as well as explain the things that need to be done for winterazation, pilot lighting, humidifier, etc etc. Very knowledgeable, nice and patient. They did great work and had superior knowledge about how to make the shortest runs. They are also good at gauging if the furnace could take the extra load.

They came out and did what they said they'd do. They cleaned up well after themselves, and I'd recommend them and use them again!

DID SEASONAL CLEANING AND CHECKING OF GAS FURNACE, REPLACED THERMOCOUPLER. STEVE CAME EARLY, WAS FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE, ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS, AND PROVIDED THE ADDITIONAL SERVICES INFORMATION I ASKED FOR WITHOUT GIVING A HARD-SELL.
