I called Raul based on the Angie's list ratings. We needed paver bricks installed over our front steps. He told me he would come by to see the steps and then call back with an estimate. Then - nothing. I called him again about a week later and left a voicemail - no response. I can't speak to the quality of work that this company does, based on other reviews it is good. But their customer service and professionalism leave much to be desired.

Raul came and gave me the price. We set a date and he came as expected. They removed all the debris and left everything clean as a whistle.

R&G rocks. Raul came out to give me an estimate for front- and back-yard clean up on a property that hadn't had any trimming/landscaping done in about five years. It was a mess, with weeds taller than my head. Raul gave me an estimate on the spot, and since the price was fantastic I booked the job with him then. The completed work was impeccable--trees were completely removed and soil was scattered, everything was swept up, every single little weed was pulled up, and they were even able to separate out the good plants from the jungle of weeds and kept those for us. Raul and his crew must really be minimalists--they're not afraid to really hack away until the job is done, but they are also surprisingly good about keeping plants that I wanted kept looking as if only the wind has ever touched their leaves. My one caveat about R&G is that they seem extremely busy. I had good luck with getting in touch the first time, but the second time I called (for another job), it took a couple of days of me calling back before I finally got in touch with Raul.

Awesome from start to finish. Raul and his crew of hard working men did a great job with a nightmare area-Raul even made a suggestion to the original plan that in this case work out wonderfully. Would highly recommend their services.

They did a phenomenal job. I couldn't believe how much better the place looked. We have a lot of condos for sale in our building, so curb appeal is important, and they definitely made the place look 50x better. We liked them so much that we got rid of our old lawn care company for weekly maintenance, and have hired R&G for that, as well.

Excellent experience dealing with Raul and his crew. They came in and finished the work in record time. Our neighbors commented on how nice the end product looked. I called Raul and he came over the following day to survey the area. He provided a quote right there and then. He also informed me of the date he could start the job. His crew showed up @ 8am on the scheduled day and immediately got to work. When I got home, I was amazed at the result. Complete night and day. I will definitely use him again. And, I'll be happy to refer him to friends and family.

R&G did a great job with the new sidewalks and with the new sod. Because of my schedule, the work was done on two days, three weeks apart. When they came out the second time, they even replaced some of the sod that we had not watered well enough initially. We would use them again and recommend them. They are also now doing our regular weekly lawn maintenance.

They performed the job and didn't charge me.

This is the third time we've used R&G. Wonderful - their work exceeded our expectations. Raul is a pleasure to deal with and is extremely prompt, knowledgeable and gives great suggestions. The crew is extremely hard working and take pride in their work. We will definitely be using their services again in the future.

I am uncomfortable giving low ratings to anyone but unfortunately the above is my described experience.

They were efficient. They did what we wanted, and did it right. They seemed to be knowledgeable and honest. They got the job done well.

We have the best kept driveway and walkways in our neighborhood by far.

Responsive but the quote was not structured ideally for the condo association needs. Therefore it was a little high but fair. We decided to go with another provider.

Response was in 45 mins the day before thanksgiving an we had an estimate the same day the work was completed the day after thanksgiving at 9am and the job was done to our complete satisfaction

Their price was more reasonable than others. They were very professional, punctual and responsive. On the first visit they removed a lot of unwanted weeds, did extensive clean up in he backyard and alley, removed on old lined pond with no plumbing attached. They did a lot of work fast. The only one thing I really didn't like was that the first time the owner oversaw all the work but the second time he didn't oversee the work. He arrived with them, made sure they knew what to do then left. There was language barrier between me and the workers so I would have liked somebody who could translate. They did a good job, but there was no creativity as far as how they placed the plants. They kind of just made a grid and it could have probably looked a lot nicer if they could have taken like one step further.

They had a good review on Angie?s List and they were cheaper than the other company from whom we had received another quote. They were professional and punctual but they could do better at being responsive. I would use them in the future.

Raul came to my house the day after I called and gave me a written quote for the work. They were able to come out the following weekend to perform the work. Everything went smoothly and they did a very nice job. Thanks.

The only negative thing about them is that they charge me for things I don?t think they have done therefore I always have to negotiate with them. However, their men do a wonderful job; they really know how to keep the lawn in superb shape. They are very thorough. They really do pull some weeds, they keep things trim, they cut the grass, they do everything that is required to keep a lawn nice and that is good but there is a little bit of struggle with the bill.

Excellent. I called on Monday and later that morning Raul was there to provide an estimate. We agreed on a price and his team was there on Thursday morning to perform the work. They worked quickly and professionally and I am extremely pleased with the results.

Raul was very professional. He returned my call right away and he arrived exactly when promised. We scheduled the work within few days. The work was done really quickly and it was exactly as he said it would be. They did an excellent job. I can see my sidewalks! The price was over the estimate he gave me, but it was still a fair price. I will use this company again.

Very well. Raul arrived the day after my phone call. He offered an estimate in writing, described his services, and offered the option of weekly yard work, which we accepted.

He does great work. Our yard looks great. He has become our neighborhood landscaper based on how our yard looks. He charges me once a month but it depends on the job so he provides options.

I called Raul needing some fast help - sewer work that tore up the front yard had just been completed, and I was about to put the house on the market and needed it to look nice. Raul called me back that evening and said "no problem". And indeed, it was no problem. He came by the next day to take a look and give me a price. The crew was there right on time and had everything finished within a couple of hours. I couldn't possibly have been happer, and the lawn looks great. I'm going to have them return every couple of weeks to keep things looking nice. And if I don't sell the house, they've got a customer for the forseeable future!

We had sod put down twice by R&G, our back yard, and then our front and side yard. The grass they used in the back yard has been great, very hardy, and looks great. The new sod on the side of the house is beautiful. They also replaced a small ivy they accidentally tore out with new ivy after letting us know they accidentally pulled it. Very happy with the results. Only complaint was they were a little late in arriving, they told us Thursday morning and didn't get here until 1pm.
