First Eric is a super nice person! Definitely knew what he was talking about, charged us appropriately for the work and made sure everything worked efficiently before leaving. Honestly the best experience I’ve had with a home issue/fix! Definitely recommend!

Eric disconnected our gas grill one year ago. After some concrete work was done, Eric came back this year and reconnected our grill. Eric is very easy to work with. We are able to easily communicate what we need to Eric. We highly recommend his work.

Eric and Michael were outstanding. It was easy to communicate with Eric to schedule the appointment. They were punctual and knew exactly what to do to run the gas line to my fireplace. After the conversion was complete, I wanted to swap the grate that came with the gas logs for the grate I already had. Eric and Michael were happy to oblige so I could get exactly the look I wanted. I plan to also call Perrin Gas next time I need to replace my gas water heater. I highly recommend their work.

Eric will be my first call for any future gas-related problems. He called me back quickly, very nice guy who steered me right. Had a suspected gas leak and he explained the repair process, types of problems, and what he could do if Nicor didn't fix it. Only reason I didn't have work done is it ended up being Nicor's problem. We've been dealing with a gas leak in our house for over a year and a half. The gas company could not locate it and we had tried several different companies before we came across Perrin Gas on Angie's List. He came out on the day he said and was awesome! He found where we had small gas leaks behind the stove & refrigerator in the walls as well as in the furnace room. The price was very reasonable and well under what we were thinking it might cost. Best of all the gas smell is gone!! We were so happy with the work of Perrin Gas!

Run gas line to fire pit and grill

Eric did a great job of reworking our old gas line to give our new oven clearance. It fits! He showed up on time, worked quickly, and met his original quote. Would use him again.

Eric was prompt and finished this in about 20 minutes. I can easily access my gas hookup. It was perfect. Very reasonable cost. I definitely would hire him again.

Perrin Gas could have easily just provided the services requested and collected payment but instead provided the honest assessment that the required work was not the best value for me and that I should instead buy a new grill. Mr. Perrin's honesty has earned him a client when his services are required.

Eric was great! Arrived right on time, work was quick, price was reasonable. Would definitely hire again.

Eric was great! He was flexible with his schedule, and even responded to text messages. Originally, I hired him to install the exterior natural gas line. When he came inside to check all the pilot lights, he noticed that my fireplace was not functioning properly. Then, he spent 15 minutes to diagnose the issue and solve it! What an excellent experience!

I called Eric this morning to setup a future appointment to have the gas outlet behind my stove moved about 8" lower so that my new stove would slide all the way in. From the moment he answered the phone you couldn't have asked for a more professional person. He asked where I lived and as luck turned out was going to be in the area and said that he could come by before another appointment if I was available. He quoted me a price of $150. He showed up early and was done before I knew it. He talked to me about what I wanted and suggested moving the outlet a little lower if I was okay with him cutting a little more dry wall. After he was done he cleaned everything up and tested it out. He checked all of the new joints for leaks and tested out the new stove once he reconnected it. Hands down I would use him again and will recommend him to everyone. Now I realize that I was lucky that I got same day service because his schedule worked out the way it did. I just wish that everyone I dealt with was as professional as Eric was.

He was earlier than expected, did not take as long as we thought. Just a pleasant man and the cost was very reasonable.
