I contacted Marian to remove the ceramic tile in our kitchen and replace it with hardwood to match the rest of the house. We had no idea what was under the tile and many other contractors were afraid to take the job because they didn't want to find out. Marian was confident in his ability to do it and he did not disappoint! He was extremely careful, communicative, and hard working. He removed the tile, replaced the sub-floor, and installed hardwood to match my existing floor in 3 days. We are so happy with the results!

I do not exaggerate when I tell you this is the best experience I have ever had when it comes to quality and customer service. We found out that our condo was closing FAST and we would have 5 days to move. We needed the old icky floors redone and started calling around. Marian was the 14th person that popped up on Google and he should have been the first because he was so patient with our quick turnaround time and graciously worked with us to make this process happen. We even had delays getting access to the new space on our end and Marian remained kind and patient with us. Once he got access to the space, he was so fast and so talented! He kept us updated throughout the day with photos and timelines. Just look at the difference!! My floors are stunning and I will ONLY ever use or recommend Marian in the future. Talented. Fast. Kind. That’s all you can ask for.

The quality of my hardwood now and vinyl installation is flawless. We needed to repair some damage done to our hardwood floors by a leaking radiator. I called maybe half a dozen companies and they all had some excuse why they can't do it or they told me I needed to have more work done or they had some outrageous minimum. Marian didn't try to upsell me or tell me I needed to replace some parts of the floor that didn't really need fixing- you can't find this type of honesty anywhere anymore! So if you need a project done in your home Marian is the person for you! he'll give you a fair price and a job done quickly and to your satisfaction.

My garden unit bedroom closet had mold visible on the drywall from a greater condo building water issue. When the mold remediation company found that the hardwood floor and plywood subfloor were also wet and moldy, we had to remove the floor as well. In a hurry, I reached out to several flooring contractors and Midwest communicate lightning fast to give me the #'s, availability and peace of mind I needed when the unexpected situation came up. While my condo association decided to use their maintenance man for the repairs (walls, floors, etc), I plan to contact Midwest the next time we have a flooring issue.

Midwest Flooring did *excellent* work in our home. We have a 1922 Chicago-style bungalow with hardwood on the first floor. The second floor, an attic conversion, had carpet over pine boards. We wanted hardwood installed on the stairs and throughout upstairs to match the existing flooring downstairs. Marian's work was precise, aesthetically pleasing, speedy, and reasonably priced. Before installation, when we were discussing the plans, Marian told me "don't worry, I am going to install everything like it's my own house." And he did! We could not be happier with Midwest Flooring and heartily recommend them.

I feel lucky that a friend recommended to me Midwest Hardwood Floors to repair, sand and finish my floors. My floors were damaged, worn-out and ugly. Marian and his guys came on a Friday morning, and on Saturday my floors looked incredible. They also gave me a very good quote compared to some other estimates. Also, Marian is an honest, good guy and gave me good advice on how to move my furniture off the floors. I'm extremely happy with the service they provided and would recommend this company to anyone.

Midwest Hardwood Floors really delivered for us. They replaced older carpeting with the original hardwood floors and re-painted much of the 1st floor. The job itself was very well done and exceeded our expectations. In order to keep schedule they worked flexible hours, avoided debris in pockets of the house, and helped source the required materials. Would are considering for future projects.

I could not be more impressed with Marian and his crew. We needed to get a new floor in before we moved into our new home and needed to get another two refinished. He hustled to get us into his schedule, was price competitive (not the cheapest but also far from the most expensive), and completed the work with the highest quality. This included a very challenging herringbone pattern floor for an extremely small space and he even moved baseboard around and replaced cedar in the closet to make sure that the finished product was up to expectations. I am a general contractor myself for a living, but exclusively on large commercial projects. I will tell you that Midwest is exactly the type of sub I like to work with and I am so happy that we found them to help us with our own home.

You could not find a more honest and helpful businessman than Marian. We had recently moved into a four year old home where the ebony finish was coming off the hardwood floor. It was making us crazy! It looked so bad. Midwest Hardwood Floors was recommended to us by a home inspector who always knows the best tradesmen to use. Marian came to my home within 24 hours of my phone call. He was very honest with me. He told me that for as much as he would love to have my business, my floor problems are easy DYI projects. He even told me the best place to get my supplies, the brand I should use, as well as the color and the size I would need to make the repairs. I can not begin to thank him enough. To not have to go through the expense and hassle to have my floors redone is the best news I’ve gotten in a long time. He could have easily told me that my floors needed to be re-sanded and I would have done it. He is the first person I will call when I do need to have my floors redone.
