The first service man who came, on time, said he could not do the service that day because someone took the camera out of the car. He said he would call to reschedule. The entire day went by without a call so I called and rescheduled. The next appointment was a week later. This time he called three minutes before the appointment time to say there was an appointment problem and he was on the south side. He blamed the woman in the office. Again I waited for a call to reschedule but none came so I called and said I was upset and wanted someone else to deal with. We were given another appointment and this time we had a different serviceman,Brian, who was very thorough. We felt the cost to insulate the walls would not be returned in savings because they wanted to do all the wall completely instead of just where it was needed.

The guy seemed pretty knowledgeable, but I was surprised that he only detected heat loss in one corner. He does need to come back, and he mentioned that I needed to have the roof insulated.

They decided to come in but could not perform the infrared due to weather. Don't have a coupon if you know that the scanning technology doesn't work in certain weather conditions. Never heard a reply back to reschedule.

My experience was average.  Scheduling went great and they kept me informed if we had to re-schedule. I thought the service was okay, I thought they would take more images while they were here. I also felt they would follow up better to do additional services and they didn’t seem to get back to me well.

Emailed them over a month ago to request a consultation on our poorly insulated bungalow- never heard back.

They were slow in getting the quote back to me. The offer was $59, any work was going to cost more. When they gave me the quote I did not know if it included the discount and no one has called me back to let me know. I got the quote through the email. If they had followed up, I probably would have had the work done right away. He said that they would help me with my rebates. He was very polite and informative. He showed me what everything looked like. They called back right away. He understood what he was talking about. I would use them again.

I had an appointment with Phil on January 15, 2014. He was punctual and great to deal with. I appreciated his honesty and suggestions. He said he would get back to me with an estimate. I was looking forward to getting the estimate so that I could start a process with my insurance company and then have the work done. I called the office at Eco Tec on January 29,2014 to find out about my estimate. The lady connected me with Phil who said he thought he e-mailed the estimate to me. I assured him that I hadn't received the estimate. He said he would e-mail it to me when he got back to the office later that day. It is now January 30, 2014 and I have yet to receive an estimate. I guess I will look into having the work done by some other company.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went fine. They didn't really do any work, it was just an energy assessment. It was a 20 minute thing. It was one man and he was fine.

It was very good. It was a very satisfactory experience. They were very professional. They came and did a very thorough review of the house. They made recommendations of what would be the thing to do to improve your energy efficiency.

The icynene spray foam for exterior walls went great. The showed up when expected, and did a professional job. The ceiling insulation truck just did not show up. I was told they would be at my home within 35 minutes(after the icynene guys completed their work) and 3 hours later the company finally said they would not be coming. Another appointment was scheduled, and they were very late. But everything seemed to be done well.

They used a thermal imaging device to check my ceilings for cold spots.  Unfortunately, I have radiant heat in my ceilings so the images didn't show much else.  Since it was unseasonably warm that day, the man said he was going to have the office call to set up another appointment when it got colder, but they never called.  He suggested that spray foam insulation in the crawl spaces might help, but I already knew that.  I thought he might have something to say about insulating the walls, but he didn't seem interested in that idea when I brought it up.  I just expected something more.

Initially there was a small communication issue, but they quickly resolved it and did what they were supposed to do. I have used them before on a very big job and I will use them again.

He was very professional and nice.  He would have had to cut through the walls and damage the tire and I do not want that done, so I did not end up going with them.  He did nothing wrong, I just did not want to do that type of work.

Very professional from start to finish. Crew arrived on time, prepared the areas, explained the agenda for the day and was very professional in all aspects. I would definitely use Eco Tec again.
