Good to know: They sent a subcontractor. He was great though. Good: -Scheduling was easy. -They used my preferred modes of communication and responded promptly. -He was on time -He was quick -He moved small furniture out of the way, just as promised -The carpets look way better than they ever have Neutral: -He warned me ahead of time that some stains are permanent -He said he was done. I noted that some of the stains were still there but acknowledged that he had warned me. He proceeded to re-clean those spots, and got the stains out. Which is great! What is not great is that I'm not sure he would have done that if I hadn't said something. That's why the B on Quality. Bad: -I was told we don't need to vacuum ahead of time, so we didn't. I assumed that meant they would vacuum beforehand, but he didn't. There was a lot of debris on the carpet, particularly from some carpet repair I had done earlier this week. Some of it is still there, so we'll have to vacuum once the carpet is dry. I'm guessing that this had no effect on the actual cleaning, but I wish they had been more clear when responding to that question. -

I requested a quote for deep carpet cleaning for 4 rooms and provided the dimensions for each room. I received a quote of $228 and booked a time to have it done. When their guy arrived, he told me that $228 was for a light cleaning and told me it would be $350 for a deep cleaning. I told him that I specifically requested deep cleaning and was given the $228 quote. He called his boss who said they couldn't do a deep cleaning for $228. The guy then left without doing the work. This was a classic bait-and-switch and if you value honest businesses you'll look elsewhere. Not only was I lied to, but I lost valuable time waiting for these bozos to show up.

After seeing mostly good reviews of this company I asked for an estimate via email on 8/13/18, sending a clear diagram of two rooms, two hallways and 14 steps and included all measurements. The reply from Tammy was as follows: 2 rooms $128, 2 hallways $39 each and stairs $4 each. We decided to wait on the cleaning and on 5/7/19 I emailed again on the same thread asking if the quoted price was the same, specifically 2 rooms, 2 hallways and 14 stairs for $272. I was told they could do it for that price on 5/24/19 between 8 and 10. I sent my info as requested and assumed everything was a go. Today 5/22 I texted asking if we were on for Friday and received this message in return...Here is an estimate for your request Family room $128, Living Dining room $128, 2 hallways $15 each, stairs $4 each. Please let me know if you wish to book an appointment. Since I thought I had already booked an appointment and had started moving belongings to other rooms and had guests coming the next week, I called. Lee informed me that we were booked but that these were the correct prices not the previously agreed to prices. After lots of back and forth it came down to the previous person who no longer worked there gave me incorrect prices. I told her that mistake was on her end and the original prices should be honored. She told me she was not responsible for someone else’s mistake and asked if I wanted to have the cleaning at the new prices. I told her there was no way I would do business with a company that would not honor their own quoted prices. It was a lousy extra $70 but to me it was the principle of the thing. Stand by your word and treat people honorably and you’ll get my business. Go back on your word and we’re done. The owner should hire better people to represent him.

Excellent response. I called them at 11:45 and the estimator was here within the hour. Good price on the bid. Our association moves kind of slow so we haven't decided on when we want this done. I ALSO STUPIDLY PUT OUT A NASTY REVIEW OF THIS COMPANY EXCEPT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FOR "COREY THE CARPET TECHNICIAN". If that review is still up please DISREGARD IT!

They were great, very responsive and punctual. My rug looks brand new. I have children and pets and the rug is a cream color. I wasn’t expecting it to come out looking like this. They did a great job.

The work overall was adequate, but the business practices were questionable. The person on the phone quoted me one price for cleaning of the furniture, and then when the technician arrived he upcharged me and said unless I paid for the deeper cleaning service the work would be inadequate. Based on this, I would not hire this company again. However, after I complained, they did issue and refund and honored the original quoted price.

It was the worst job of cleaning my carpets that we have ever had. With the exception of moving a few end tables, he did not move or clean under most of the furniture. With the few end tables that he did move,he initially did not put protective plastic under the legs of the tables to prevent them from staining the carpet. He did so after we asked but he still forgot one of the tables. We paid top dollar to have these carpets cleaned and what we got was an amateurish incomplete job. When I called the company's office to complain the next morning, I was told that the boss would return my call within the hour. They never called back. Try to avoid these clowns at all cost.

They arrived on time and performed the services. It was especially convenient because they came on Sunday.

When the serviceman arrived he refused to do the work for the quoted price. I've used them in the past -- multiple times since the initial referral from Angie's List more than 3 years ago -- I was surprised and disappointed.

Cleaning went great. The gentleman arrived promptly with his machine and was finished within a couple of hours. My apartment was totally empty as this cleaning took place just prior to the end of my lease in a luxury apartment complex. It was part of my end-of-lease cleaning requirements and the carpet looked fantastic. All of the stains and discoloring were gone and it satisfied the lease requirements. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

I've hired Chicago Carpet Care three times now. It's always a good experience. The last time the carpets took awhile to dry, but they look great (light colored carpets). I no longer have any signs of stains.

Terrific! We own two long hair cats. You can imagine the cat hair. Chicago Carpet Care's process does a spectacular job. We've used them twice and will use them again.

Purchased a special deal through Angie's List. My mother-in-law needed carpets cleaned in her house. I believe the gentleman who came to the house was Rafael. He was very professional, detailed, and did an excellent job. My mother-in-law was very happy since she hasn't had her carpets cleaned in a long time.

The cleaner was prompt and did a thorough job. Everything was dry in about 8 hours.
