Happy Sky Cleaning

She was there just under 5 hours which was the standard time, I did not ask her to stay later. The areas she cleaned were done well and thoroughly, windows (interior only) were spotless, corners of dust bunnies were gotten, she moved lighter furniture to clean behind them, all surfaces were dusted and items replaced as they were. Bathrooms are very clean and tidy. We only asked for cleaning, no laundry or cleaning of furniture other than dusting or light vacuuming. Overall a very thorough job that would have taken us longer to do and not as skillfully.

The cleaning itself was executed well. The person that was assigned did a great job. However I was quoted $250.00 for 5 hours for two cleaners for a deep clean. If the time exceeded 5 hours, the additional rate is 25.00 per hour. When the single cleaner arrived, I asked her if someone else was coming and she said no. She was told by whoever sent her that "they didn't know what I wanted and find out when you get there." I told her that I had requested a deep cleaning. She said "that they had a lot of faith in her." I allowed the cleaner to start because I had to take a day off of work to get this done. I spent a lot of time researching and speaking with services before I settled on this one. The main reason is that there were two people assigned. I have had professional services before and paid less for more workers. I spoke to Yana at Happy Sky while the cleaner began her work. She told me that I confirmed for one person via text. She was correct. When I checked the text it did say one person. At that time I conceded because I hadn't read the text carefully the day before. However, I spoke with Natlay at length on 9/24 about what I needed and I specifically asked for a deep clean and she quoted two people for a 1200 sq.. ft. apartment for 5 hours. I have been quoted 130.00 for 4 hours with one person for a deep cleaning. I went with Happy Sky because I felt that two people would be more realistic for the time frame and the size of the space. The cleaning arrived on time and worked steadily for four hours when I realized that she would not be able to complete cleaning my place. It is an open concept living space and she did and excellent job cleaning the base boards, blinds, dusting, sweeping, window sills and appliances and counter tops. I asked her to do this area, living room, dining room and kitchen. I asked her to skip the refrigerator and the oven, I asked her to clean both bathrooms and the hallway and to leave the bedrooms. I called Yana and authorized an additional hour. I paid a total of 275.00. The next morning, I notice that a small gift bag was missing and I looked around for it. I decided to check the dumpster and I removed two white plastic bags that I tossed after the cleaning. One of them contained kitchen trash, the other was trash collected by the cleaner. I inspected the second bag and discovered that the small gift bag was in there. This gift bag contains a $200.00 gift card from Cow Shed Spa at Soho House that was sitting on a shelf in my living room. Also in the trash bag was a hand made birthday card, a recipe card, a poster from the Women's March in D.C. These are items that should not have ended up in the trash. I believe that it was a mistake for them to end up in the trash, but I was very upset. The service was done on Wednesday, 10/3, on Thursday I discovered that some of my property ended up in the trash, Friday I sent Nataly a text. She stood by the quote that Yana gave me. All she said was the price for 2 cleaning ladies is $450 for 5 hours. There was no acknowledgement of the time I took off from work, the dumpster diving I had to do. She didn't offer to refund any portion of the fee. I will not be calling them again. Despite the fact that she discarded my things, I felt that the cleaner had been put in a bad position because she wasn't told what had been requested. I wouldn't have taken the time I did from work and spent that money if I had known only one person would be sent. It's obvious to me that they booked and didn't pay attention to what they were doing or that they didn't care.

Good job cleaning

The girls are fabulous but they came in and told me they would probably not be able to finish it. I feel like the company does not allow them enough time to finish the cleaning. They did a great job but it did not get finished.

I also noticed I left a ring in my bathroom that went missing and I thought I may have lost it. A few weeks later I noticed a ring out of my jewelry box was gone when I let them on when I wasn’t home. I have no way of proving it was them but they were the only other people in my house.

Unbelievably amazing service. We had someone at the apartment to do a deep clean on a dirty apartment that seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned in a couple years within 2 hours of our calling. The difference was astounding - it looked and smelled so much better! Amazing value - worth every penny we paid and more!!!

Do not hire!!! They never show up!!! They call you and lie and say that someone canceled the appointment!!! Liars and terrible company. Don’t hire!!

The cleaner arrived within the window specified. She was professional and efficient. When she realized she needed more time, she confirmed with me that it would be okay to add time. The condo looked spectacular afterward.

the garbage was not taken out, the pergo floors did not look good, the stainless steel appliances could have been better there was still marks noticeable. I did like not having a contract and the bathrooms and the beds were done well. I might give the service another try.

It went very well. They arrived on time, were professional and even asked what specifics I would like detailed. The home sparkles now! I am a Realtor and the deep clean is a service I provide for my clients. They pulled furniture away from the walls, scrubbed floors and baseboard to perfection! I’m so excited to add Happy Sky Cleaning to my network! DEFINITELY hire them!

I was impressed with the promptness of this company. Got all my answers to my questions right away & I loved the fact that they were able to assign someone to come & clean as soon as the very next day. I was even able to talk to someone after my regular business hours (6:30 p.m.) which was a huge plus in my book since most other places were closed by this time. I live a very busy life & I have to be spontaneous at times, so this business was definitely perfect for my needs. Their prices were very reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done. Maria was assigned to help out & she was excellent & did an amazing job. She was nice, professional, & is very talented with getting the most toughest stains out! I will definitely be using this service again!

They were responsive in accommodating me when I needed to change the time. They young lady arrived on time and was very pleasant and professional. She completed every task I asked of her and then some. I was very pleased with the quality of the work done. I would definitely use them again.

Anna was just great. She did a great job and was very flexible. My only suggestion is that the maids bring a step ladder with them to all jobs. There were some places in my house that Anna couldn't reach and since I was moving in I still didn't have my step ladder unpacked. However, Anna had everything else she needed.

I had cleaning service done to the new house we moved into on late April. I wanted the place cleaned for us so I hired Happy Sky. Well, I thought they did a good job. I gave them a good review. Then my girlfriend saw the place and told me that is was over-priced and poorly done work. I did a review update that Angie's List posted to replace my first post. Then Happy Sky contacted me and offered a second chance. The place we moved out of needed cleaning. One woman came 6-20-2018 and she did great work in 4 hours. I got a good price too to equal out the original sub par work. Well, now I will use them again because Happy Sky stepped up and made things right. Thank you Happy Sky and thank you all for your patience in this long, rambling post.

Great professional service

Fantastic! I had an emergency need for a home cleaning on a vacant property that closed that day - sellers left it without a thorough cleaning. This company answered immediately, scheduled service to begin within 2 hours of call, arrived on time and cleaning was complete within the timeframe estimated. The new home owners were thrilled with the work, "night and day difference" is how they put it. Very satisfied and would definitely call them again.

First, one cleaning lady was going to be an hour late. Then she cancelled and the company sent another. The one who arrived on time was good, but she did not have a partner to start on time with, so I had to help her clear the rooms so there would be enough time for Minwax to dry (two hours). Once two hours had passed they tried to move furniture back, but it was too heavy for the replacement to handle. So, they put a blanket under the furniture and dragged it across the room leaving a twenty foot scratches in the bedroom.

The first two times I used this company I was very happy. Then they sent someone who didn't perform the work. I called and the man who answered never apologized but did offer someone to come fix the problem or 120$20 off the next cleaning so I used them again. This time went well so I decided I would use them again. I scheduled another cleaning, the night before....at 11:00 they were texting to let me know the cleaner wasn't available. I re scheduled and got another $20 credit for the inconvenience. This was my final cleaning as they sent another woman who didn't clean my house. I swiffered my own floors, they were FILTHY. Again, no apology from the owner. Another offer to send someone over to fix it or a credit. I canceled my check and vowed that I wouldn't use them again. They never send the same cleaner and aren't even sorry when their crew doesn't do their job.

Well, I was at first happy with the work from Happy Sky Cleaning. Then I needed the place I left cleaned. I had more time to research and also imput from my girlfriend who is a great researcher. She found out that Happy Sky was more expensive than the area average. She also looked around the place and saw places they missed. The house was empty at the time, so they should have not missed anything. I realized that they were overpriced and the work was average at best. I felt I needed to update for everyone. She was really mad when she saw this and did it herself. I wanted pictures but she was too mad to think about it. I did get some shots of the basement windows that I cleaned. Not pretty.

It went great. Alicia was on time, friendly and thorough.

We scheduled the appointment for the Wednesday before move in. About an hour before the scheduled appointment, I received a call saying "Sorry the babysitter for your cleaning lady cancelled can we reschedule?". After repeatedly telling the woman on the phone that I move in that Saturday and work 9-5, she kept trying to schedule for a time slot mid-day the following day and also on the weekend (while we were supposed to be moving in). Finally she was able to reschedule for that Friday evening. Again, about an hour before the appointment I receive a call with the exact same story and her trying to reschedule for that Saturday while I'm supposed to be moving in. This company is incredibly unreliable and unprofessional and I recommend you avoid them at all cost, especially if you need cleaning done by a certain date.

The company did a great job. Everything was done well and the company was very quick to respond to my requests. They were very responsive to the needs of my apt.
