The one they did in 2007 has held up, but the one they did in 2013 has not held up. They put a lifetime guarantee on their work, so they are going to fix it. They do excellent work.

They answered every questions, no water came out. They sealed all my water cracks. Water was coming in through my basement until they fixed the issue.

They were really good. They showed up on time and didn't make a mess.

US Waterproofing was great. Finished job looks terrific and they did a tremendous job cleaning up after themselves. In particular, it appears their dust remediation system really did the trick because I was expecting a ton of dust from the jack-hammering and their really isn't ANY to speak of. I want to give a particular shout-out to the crew that worked on my job. The initial work was on a cold, rainy, miserable day and those guys went in-and-out of my house all day long lugging buckets of dirt by hand. Hard to think of a more thankless task in worse conditions--but those guys worked their butts off. I was thoroughly impressed. Wish I knew their names--but thanks so much. Great work.

It was through my town home association is why there wasn't a charge to me. As indicated their work was very good. Overall rating of a C is because of the time frame. Almost 5 weeks between initial contact to the repair.

The sales rep who came to our house for the estimate appointment was professional and very thorough. We received a detailed written estimate and made the decision to proceed with the contract at that time. The work was completed to our satisfaction. The technicians who performed the service were professional and cleaned up the work site when they were done. Both the sales rep and technicians arrived on time for the appointments. We received a reminder from US Waterproofing a couple of days prior to the service appointment. I would definitely us this company again.

It went well. He was on time. And so far the patch is holding.

Steven came on time and thoroughly checked over our basement with regard to our concerns. No seepage was discovered but he made several suggestions for things for us to keep an eye on. Steven didn't try to sell us any unnecessary services and was clearly interested in determining if we had any seepage problems in the basement.

The consultant that came out was friendly and on time. Unfortunately after getting a second opinion from a different company the issues we thought we had were actually more in depth then we thought or what US Waterproofing found during the time of inspection.

First, the office made a list minute change of salesman because the original salesman called me to ask if he could come early, and I said no, I wanted him to come at the time we had scheduled. The salesman who came was very helpful and took lots of time to answer my questions. Unfortunately, he didn't want to give me a quote until their "structural expert" came to assess whether my foundation was actively settling. He said someone from the office would contact me in 2-3 days to schedule this appointment. Two WEEKS later, after following up multiple times about this appointment, the salesman said he had just found out that they don't do foundation repair in Chicago. WHAT?! Why would you schedule an appointment for someone in Chicago to get a quote for foundation repair when you don't perform work in Chicago?! Makes no sense.

I had Paul Fischer out for an estimate on my crawlspace on 7/23/16. I don't have any water coming in at all- I just wanted to encapsulate the crawlspace and make it easier to work in- moving things around for storage, checking the joists, etc... Paul told me I need to get a drainage system installed with a sump pump and install a comfort crawl system. This seemed like a lot of work but the quote was 4600.00 and I thought it was reasonable. Today, 7/27/16 I find in my mailbox an envelope for 2 new quotes because this original one was wrong due to the iPad not working properly. One quote was for 5600.00 w/out the drainage system originally told I had to have and the 2nd one was for 10,110.00 with a new drainage system installed. OK here's where things get shady- the original quote was 5,510.00 off on count of a faulty iPad? If the square footage is written down, which it was, you can plug the numbers in and figure it out- something seems very wrong here. They call this "bait and switch" and it's how crooks operate. The 2nd quote w/out a drainage system, now there's another way to do my job, but originally Paul told me "this is the way we do it" was for 5,600.00! That's an additional 1,000.00 from the very first quote. I know US Waterproofing has been around for along time and this is why I even called them to come out, however after seeing how this company operates I'll never refer them to anyone and will also let people know of my horrible estimate experience. I can't believe someone could actually try to swindle a customer like this. Please see the pictures I uploaded. I'm happy I'm able to display this to show everyone out there how this company operates.

This project has been an absolute nightmare and it isn't even complete yet (more than 2 months after the initial work!) Our salesman who sold the project was incredible. He was super knowledgable, thorough, attentive, responded quickly. If I had only known that he was only the sales guy and we'd never receive that type of service again.... US Waterproofing has made numerous mistakes since the project began and I've worked with 5+ people throughout this nightmare process, only one of whom has taken responsibility and gotten back to me in a timely manner. The timeline of our outrageous experience (which has still not been remedied) is below: 5/2-5/4 Original USW Waterproofing Installation. 5/6 USW charges my credit card, a different one that the one I'd asked them to charge. 5/9 I tell USW they charged wrong credit card on 5/6. They tell me they'll fix it. 5/12 Basement gets water. Contact them immediately. 5/23 USW sends surveyor to look at what repair was needed. He documents needed repairs and schedules repair for 6/1. 6/1 USW repair guy comes and says the surveyor who came 5/23 diagnosed the wrong problem and he cannot fix it, he will need to send a different crew. 6/4 New USW crew comes to fix leaking 6/10-ish After 10+ emails, 25+ phone calls, speaking with Dawn, Larry & Tamisha, I speak with Larry inquiring about switching the card/reimbursement and he goes back to "why don't we just leave it on the original card, I don't understand why this is a problem." 6/13 USW charges my correct credit card but they don't reimburse my other card so now I'm holding $9500 charges on two of my cards. 6/14 Call to USW have window repaired that was broken during 5/2-5/4 installation 6/20 USW comes to fix window 6/23 USW shows up without notice when I'm not home to replace new window. 6/23 USW reimburses the card they incorrectly charged on 5/6. 6/24 I notice dried water/dirt marks on the floor but I clearly caught it after the leaking had dried. Take photos of dried water marks and take mental note to keep an eye on future water damage. 6/27 USW shows up again to replace broken window glass. 7/6 Basement gets water again. Send water damage photos to two different contacts at USW. Haven't gotten a response.

Peter was the person who came to the house to give me the estimate. He was very thorough and explained exactly what was going to happen and how the work was going to be performed. He went through the material that was going to be used. He also provided information on a couple other services that I might be able to take advantage of. A representative from the company called the next day to set up the appointments. Both teams arrived on time. Both explained exactly what they were going to do. I was very pleased with the results. I would recommend this company and would use them again.

There was no actual work done at the point, because prior to having them come out I had Perma-Seal attempt to solve the issue by apply a plastic wrap underneath below ground level which they told me it would fix my issue (It did not, lost money). I had photos while workers were digging in that project and it displayed a Pier stabilizer connected to my house. The tech at USW was completely honest about the guarantee their seal would be able to 100% get behind that Pier stabilizer, so they explained that drain tiles would be a potential next option.

It was expensive but good.

They came on scheduled, did the work that needed to be done and were professional. I did reach out to the representative about a month later to ask a question, in which he promptly answered my question.
