Mr Grout

Service was great! Husband and wife team had the whole bathroom done in under 4 hours (and it is a large bathroom). New grout looks great and they did a nice job cleaning up afterwards. I can't wait to have Mr. (and Mrs.) Grout back to do the kids' bathroom!

Their work transformed the tired-looking grout of our 27-year-old eat-in ceramic tile kitchen floor into a much smoother- and even-looking floor. This effect is quite substantial and good looking, no matter what you think of the original ceramic tile itself! Very good customer service: from returning calls, to meeting appointment times, to explaining the work, to cleaning up at the end. Everything you read about this firm is true!

Neat people to say the least. Matt & his wife can be a witness to anyone of what ideal work ethic is all about. It was a blessing to have them be the one's who did the work that needed to be done. I completely trust them. It amazes me how they had every part down to a science; and, how efficiently and effective they were w/their time. You will be so thankful you hired them. The bathroom looks brand new and it is 25 yrs old Everything was done perfect The shower I thought needed a little chalk around the base in the estimate he said it would be free to chalk the shower His wife spent over an hour cleaning out the old chalk befor they put the new chalk in. At no cost. I tried to pay extra he said no that he quoted it as free. BEST DESCRIPTION OF HIS WORK IS WHAT HE SAID TO US "HE DOES IT RIGHT OR NOT AT ALL WE would never use or refer anyone else He is the BEST

He did a beautiful job with a lot of attention to detail and was a pleasure to work with. He was very helpful in explaining the steps involved in this work and any choices I had to make. I would certainly use him again for any future tile work.

Matt showed up on time, was very professional and quiet, completed the work in the time he had estimated, and was very thorough and detailed. I have already scheduled him to do another bathroom in the house.

They did a nice job, matching the grout color and everything. However, about 9 months later we started getting mold under the caulk in the marble bath. I sent them a note on angies list and they followed up promptly. They came and replaced the caulk with another material, since they said that marble is porous and challenging to caulk. No charge. Should have called them at the first sign of mold, but I guess I did not have faith they would honor the work. Pleasantly surprised. Polite and friendly.

Matt is wonderful! Amazing work ethic! He was responsive, on time, and did a wonderful job on our floors. We needed the foyer, 1/2 bath, kitchen, and laundry room done and he was quick in getting them all done in one day! He is very informative and explains what he is doing. I will be calling him again for our upstairs bathrooms!

Matt was excellent. He went above and beyond and even grouted my sinks and an area next to my door that I was having issues with since the tile didn't match up exactly to my door frame. He grouted it to match and it looks excellent. Would use him again and will refer him to anyone I know that needs his service.

Loved it. He was very professional and did the work himself. He explained clearly why the other caulk hadn't been working. His new solution looks great AND lasts! I purposely waited to write this review to see if the solution would stand the test of time and I am happy to say that is has. I will use this company for any grout/caulking needs in the future. Also appreciated that there was no attempt at 'upcharging' for additional labor or additional work.

They did it again! We were so happy with the job they did in our bathroom shower we decided to have the caulk replaced around our sink and counters. What a relief it was to know we were hiring someone we knew we could trust to do a great job. We knew we wouldn't have to stand around and supervise or make suggestions to assure that the work would be done to our satisfaction. We just relaxed and let them work their magic. They did a great job as we expected. The job was completed in no time and once again with absolutely no mess or inconvenience. They are truly amazing! If you worry as we do about having hassle free, high quality work done, call Mr. Grout. You won't be disappointed!

Matt and his wife are a dynamo team! They removed all the grout and poorly done caulk from a shower and 4'x8' bathroom floor. Both had 4" tiles. The tile was in good shape, but the grout was pitted and discolored from nicotine and spilled paint. So they re-grouted, cleaned the tiles, and caulked everything that should be caulked. They cleaned up after, and left nothing but a little dust to settle. And it only took 5 hours! I couldn't believe they got it done in that time, but Matt said "After doing 10,000 bathrooms, you know how long it takes." And it looks gorgeous. This guy really knows what he is doing, and he will not steer you wrong if you don't know what color grout to pick, or whether to do just the shower or the whole thing. They were both so pleasant, and it was fun to hear them laugh and chat in Hungarian(?) while they were working. They work together so well. Get him before he retires!

It was good. The worker was fine. He got the job done in a reasonable amount of time.

Matt was very nice and responsive. He gave me a ballpark price then came by to survey and solidify estimate of $175 for shower and $25 for floor section. He came out as scheduled. I work close to home so I left and he called me about 2 hours later and I returned when he was finished. I felt safe leaving him in my home unsupervised. The shower stall was losing caulking and getting some mildew. He cleaned it all and re-caulked it. It looked great. He also cleaned the walls of the shower to a nice shine and cleaned the vinyl floor of the stall. It has never looked that clean. A nice extra I didn't expect. He did the floor and if I didn't know the section to be fixed I'd never know which section it was. The total was as estimated and Matt was professional and easy to deal with.

I needed to have the 2"x2" ceramic tile floor in my parents home regrouted. It was in pretty bad shape with several popped tiles. I have regrouted myself but 2" x 2" tiles have SO many lineal feet of grout line that I felt I needed to get someone who could buzz through this. Received 2 good quotes. Matt was comparable in price to other guy and you can tell in talking with him, he knows exactly what to do. Also, with so many good reviews, we chose him. He showed up on schedule and he and his wife did a great job. Tiles are solidly in place, grout is appropriately colored and neat. About 3 hours start to finish. Terrific.

Mr. Grout was very accommodating with changing our appointment time on short notice. When we did get the service done we was very professional and quick. Our show and sink area look brand new!

It went well. He was a nice guy, worked efficiently and knows what he's doing. He uses only 100% silicone caulk (which is important to note since it isn't paintable). We ended up calling him back because we noticed a very minor flaw. He came back very quickly and fixed it perfectly.

Before we called Mr. Grout we were scheduled to have another company (also highly rated from Angies list) repair the grout and recaulk our shower. The employee showed up late, was rude and unprofessional, suggested the work would cost much more than the estimate and declined to do the job. What good fortune! We're so glad we called Mr. Grout! Mr. Gera was prompt and courteous and seemed to appreciate our concern for cleanliness. He gave us a fair estimate and completed the project for exactly what he had quoted us. He and his wife worked steadily and conscientiously. They were an amazing team and they did an amazing job! We expected to have to clean up after they left but there was no mess at all. They were so careful! Everything was immaculate and our shower looks like new!

Mr. Grout was very professional, neat, and polite. The baths looked fabulous when he was done. I was very pleased. He gave directions about how long to wait before using the shower.

It went very well. We bought the deal for $125 for three hours of work. Our tub had gotten pretty bad - lots of scary black spots that couldn't be scrubbed away. Turns out, it was no big deal! Mr Grout fixed it all up in less than an hour and a half. (The deal was for 1 worker for 3 hours, or 2 for an hour and a half; they came with two.) Had I known that they would be finished in that amount of time, maybe we could have had them look at the kitchen sink! Next time, I guess... Overall, great job. No reservations in recommending them!

The service went excellent. I am hiring them back for additional work. The technicians were punctual and did great work. The owner and his wife came out and completed the job in the 3 hour time frame. I had them work on all of the grout on the kitchen countertops. They also did all of the tubs, showers and sinks. They were great at explaining everything very clearly to me. I had no problem scheduling the deal.
