Made a furniture purchase and was promised an Aug 4 delivery date. There was a manufacturing delay but was never called. Only found out about the delay after I called in to confirm delivery on Aug 4. On Aug 3, after finding out about the delivery, I called the sales rep, Johanna, I worked with and requested she schedule partial delivers as items became available because I have no furniture in my new place and was fully furnishing from Ashley. Rep Johanna told me she'll do it and schedule delivery for Aug 11. Call on Aug 10 to confirm Aug 11 delivery and find out my whole delivery was delayed b/c Johanna did not schedule partials like I asked and she confirmed. Reason for the delay was b/c one item was not ready so the whole order was delayed despite asking for partials. After learning of the delay during my Aug 10 call with delivery call center, I asked for next available delivery date and the call center rep scheduled and confirmed Aug 19 delivery. After writing a Google review, I was contacted by a different call center Rep Sharon on Aug 14. Sharon told me that she saw my Aug 19 delivery scheduled and personally scheduled all other partial deliveries. Sharon also told me that she could move my Aug 19 delivery up to Aug 18. On Aug 15, after talking to Sharon, a different call center rep called and told me that my delivery on Aug 18 cannot be delivered because they are doing warehouse inventory. I am currently on the phone with another call center rep right now who is saying that my delivery is pushed out to the 26th and that dates can't be confirmed more than 5 days out. Last I checked, Aug 14 is 5 days from my originally confirmed delivery date of Aug 19. I was also just informed that they still have this order listed as one complete delivery and not partials... I am aggravated beyond belief that I keep talking to different reps and that no one can get their story straight. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I will get the word out telling everyone to never order from here.

I ordered a sectional to fit in my small basement. It was delivered and looked good at first. But after sitting on it, I discovered that there was plastic under the material. Sounded like plastic grocery bags rustling when you moved, and made the seating hot. I called customer service and they said it was a manufacturing error. The plastic should not be there. The ottoman I recieved was also very wavy in the seams. All the chairs and ottoman were going to be replaced. The next delivery had the same problem, so I refused delivery. They tried one more time. Same problem. So they refunded my money after the furniture was returned.
Description of Work: I had ordered a 5 piece sectional with matching ottoman. Ordering was easy, sales lady was nice. Delivery was on time each time. They were very careful with pieces and my home. Quality of merchandise was VERY cheap. Looks better in store. SEams were very crooked, and plastic was left between cushions and material. Inspect merchandise delivery. I ordered at the Golf and Milwaukee store.

Purchased an ottoman and sectional from Ashley along with a Guardsman 5 year Protection Plan. My daughter placed her shoes on the bottm of the ottoman and torn the leather in two spots. I made a claim with Guardsman which they denied because it was a scuff and not a tear by their definition. Does a scuff have a flap??? I called Ashley Furniture. They did try to help but said that Guardsman was a third party and they couldn't force them to fix the furniture. I purchased the plan from Ashley not from Guardsman so who is responsible---the answeer according to Guardsman and Ashley is no one. Please do yourself a favor and do not purchase anything from Ashley, they have no integrity.

The sales person was helpful and the delivery was scheduled within a week, very timely. But when the table was delivered the finish was damaged in several places on the table top. The "main" delivery person seemed not to be able to see it. In addition, two of the four chairs were very wobbly. The "main" delivery person told me it was probably my floor. They took back the table top and chairs and delivered replacements a week later. However,upon inspection of all the chairs, many of the legs were scrateched. Also, some of the chairs looked like they were sawed off to make them level. the quality just wasn't there. I will never purchase from Ashley again.

We will not be returning. The prices are low but the quality has gone down dramatically and dealing with the salespeople is very unpleasant.
Description of Work: We bought a rug from Ashley a few years ago and had a great experience. We went back to look at a dresser for my daughter's room and the experience was completely different. The salespeople are ruthless there and they are all over the store. You literally can't walk 20 feet without a different salesperson approaching you. We got some help from someone with the children's furniture, but then we realized that the quality was terrible and it would've been a mistake to buy there. The salesman would not leave us alone and followed us throughout the store.

It started out fine. The sales person was extremely helpful. However, there was a three and a half week wait for the furniture and when it was delivered, one of the legs from the chair fell off. The chair arrived with a splintered leg. I called customer care and was told that a new leg would be ordered and that it would take two and a half weeks. So, after waiting three and half weeks for the furniture we had to wait at least another two and a half weeks. The problem is that the part had to ordered from China. Once you receive the part, it is then your job to call again and have them find somebody to do the repair. That is going to take another week. I went to the store to see if there was anything they could do and I was told by the manager that "we just sell the furniture and take your money." I suppose that's fine if the furniture arrives safely but paying them over $1,000 and then not having the use of the furniture for over a month is a problem.
