John did good work and quickly replaced 1 kitchen & 2 bath faucets. I bought 3 faucets before the appointment. I accepted the cost estimate of $574 in services only but I should have gotten a 2nd estimate and possibly a better price. I already had a new bath fixture and wanted to reuse it in the powder room sink, but John didn't want to do that and suggested it might cost me more, so I bought a new one and had to get rid of the nicer Moen faucet. After buying the new faucets myself, the job cost me about $775.

Worked about 8 hours on a clogged drain pipe over 2 days without any success. Opened up the wall to see what the issue was and the drain pipe and connections were corroded. They replaced the entire drain pipe in one day. They were very clean, courteous and professional. I would hire them again.

After a week of re-lighting our pilot light, chilly showers, research and run-arounds, I had VanDerBosch come out to give me a quote on a new hot water heater. They sent Joseph, who is by far the best workman I have had in our home. He was respectful, professional, answered my questions, cleaned up beautifully and seemed happy to do the work. Other companies had said it would be a "big job, very difficult" and would need extra workers. Joe did the job the same day, on his own, for the best price with a better water heater and a better warranty. Fantastic!!

I am beyond pissed off right now! I am living in FL currently and went through this website to get a few estimates since I can't make it back to my condo in Chicago to fix a clogged drain for my tenants. I had the second business scheduled to come the following day but was informed by my tenant work was completed already and totaled $725.00. I was not even informed by this company before they did the work what an estimate would be. Why would you go off of what a tenant tells you and not contact the owner that requested the estimate to be done in the first place. Heck, I would have flown back x2 and fixed it myself for that kinda money! :(

Fantastic work! Was in and out in less than 30 minutes and was able to make it out during the great Chicago flood of 2013! Quoted a time and was actually early so called to advise accordingly. Very prompt, professional and respectful. They made a bad situation tolerable.

These guys are great. I called them on a Saturday night and they had someone come out early on Sunday. Price was totally reasonable and the tech was very knowledgeable.

Van Der Bosch was way to expensive for the service that was completed. I will look at others --but I can't afford them( Van Der Bosch) Will Not use them again!!!

I had a leak in my living room floor from the radiant heat. I met with a number of contractors who wanted to expose pipe on the walls to put in baseboard heating. Hugh had his men cut open a wall to install the pipe and repaired the wall after the pipe was put in. The heat is great, no signs of pipe and the price was at least $500 - $900+ less than the others. They were professional, friendly and clean. Before you make yourself crazy call Van Der Bosch first. Their phone number is (708) 547-4087.

A bit more expensive than other services but well worth it! My problem was fixed with-in a couple of days and I no longer have my sewer problem. The owner was also willing to work with me on payment options that were best for me and my famliy.

I was contacted by them within a minute of submitting my request, and they had a plumber at my house within an hour. Though the price he charged was rather high for the amount of work, he was extremely professional and did great work, and advised us on another project that I've decided to tackle myself (dealing with water this time, not gas!).

Van Der Bosch is a top notch company that provides excellent knowledgeble service. Hugh and Matt were awesome.
