Suggested replacing the opener instead of fixing it as it was 22 years old. Gave me the quote for the chain and belt. Discussed the benefits and quickly replaced it. Good job

. Start to finish 4 1/2 hours Showed up on time called in advance found problem with existing spring system and pulleys. Gave alternatives for fixing doors. Went for additional parts and returned to finish job.

I cannot believe how accommodating he was. I called a little after noon and had the spring replaced the same day. Quick and professional. I'd certainly recommend. Replaced the rollers to synthetic since he was already here and had them on the truck.

Our garage door opener stopped working when I was travelling on business and the installer was able to come out that evening to check see what he could do. I was very happy that the installer made the effort to see what was wrong with our garage door opener before suggesting that we get a new one. When a new opener was needed, the installer had one on his truck that got good reviews online. He was able to install in that same night and even programmed our car remotes and keypad before leaving. I was very satisfied with the service. The only call out is that the original pricing that was provided for the opener was relatively high so be sure to check the pricing online before agreeing and realize that the price is negotiable.

Tim was very courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. He knew what he was doing, gave me a fair quote and fixed the door very quickly. He even checked and fixed the rolling/ opening limits of the door and took the time to tighten the belt (which was not part of the original deal). Tim was very responsive, professional and punctual. I called yesterday around 4 pm and it is all done by 10:30 this morning. He was friendly and suggested a few things to think about in the future like replacing the rollers and openers. I liked his matter of fact, knowledgeable, low pressure recommendations. I placed my order on October 11th. I needed approval from my HOA, so Garages Unlimited came out for an estimate on October 13th. I originally wanted a basic insulated door, then I called to upgrade my quote and they were very helpful. They came out the day before the snow storm and removed and installed in around 4 hours. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.

I paid $400 for him to fix my door and he had to come out like three times to keep it from being broken and the fourth time I had to give him a 100 bucks. The last time he came out he put a bar on it. He could have done that the first time. Every time he came here he was in a hurry. The time I will use him again is if he will fix the door again for free.

Had to reschedule appointment due to an emergency with the tech that was due to come out. They were very accommodating to reschedule the appointment for me. Technician came out, explained what he wast going to do. I also asked if he could price and add a rubber gasket/strip on the bottom of the door. He got a price and we agreed to have him install this replacement. After completion of the service he explained everything he did, advised how to help keep door running smooth. Very nice and professional.

He lied to me and said he was coming back. He was not very truthful with me and was incompetent.

Their tech was prompt and came out the next day for the repair. The work performed was fine and the door works well --my only complaint is that replacement parts are pretty expensive. When I compared the cost that I was being charged to the cost on the internet it was about double. I know that they do include labor in the part cost but it still seemed a bit high.

i purchased the DEAL thru Angie's List. The company responded thru a series of emails, regarding the service date and time. The service was performed at the scheduled date & time, in a professional manner. The extra materials required were on the service vehicle at the time of service. No second visit required. Truly a professional organization with qualified people and service parts, to make the repairs required, at a fair price. Yes, I would use and refer this company for any work required in the future.

Our garage door wobbles as it goes up and down. I called Access Garage Doors to see if this could be remedied. My first experience was waiting for them to come out, they got lost several times in getting to my place. After waiting 30 minutes for them to arrive, I was told that since I had an old door, there was nothing they could do but replace the springs to right the door. They did replace the wheels on the door and added some oil to reduce the squeaks, but I don't think this was worth them coming out. I'm not sure if it was the provider or if this type of service is worthless, but I won't use either again.

On very short notice we had a new overhead door installed. While Access wanted to sell us one of theirs, I can't blame them for trying (a few times) , we purchased exactly what we wanted from Home Depot. Install was efficient, and the cost was aligned with other service providers.

They never got in touch with me after I left several voicemails and I ended up getting a refund for this deal and went with a different provider.

Did not respond. Purchased "deal" and then called the closest Access vendor three times with no response. Explained in their voice mail that this was an emergency since we could not get the cars out of garage .Note that this form now shows the Schaumburg address. The local vendor on Eastwood could have at least called me back to explain that I needed to call the Schaumburg vendor. Very frustrated. Have missed appointments waiting for return phone call.

My garage door was not working properly as one of the very old rollers the door had was out of the rail. I bought a Angie's Deal for garage tune up and roller change as I knew that when the rollers were changed they were going to be placed again in the rail. They made an appointment for the day after I called. Unfortunately they called me to tell me they were behind schedule, and then called me again to say that they could not come that day, but that they would come the following day. The following day they arrived on time profusely apologizing for not being able to come the day before. Rollers were changed and the door was left working. However, after a few openings and closing the door did not close anymore. I called them again and they returned the following day and found out the security light at the bottom of the door moved when I tried to close the door and it had to be adjusted. I asked whether I owed something more and they said no. I have used them before this time and I will use them again. Except for the punctuality glitch the first day, they were professional, responsive and did a wonderful job for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Went great. They were very informative about the issues and the options.

Sunday service needed as my car was trapped inside. Owners nephew came out on time and did a professional job. Price was good based on discussions with a couple of my friends.
