He does a very nice job, and I've recommended him many times. If you have any follow up questions or concerns he comes out and talks to you and doesn't leave you hanging. He is very honest.

It went well. All aspects were fine and their price was in the middle. There was one issue but they fixed it and communication was very good with them. The roof comes with a 15 year warranty.

Scheduling was good. Their price was in the middle. I thought they could have been a little neater and cleaned up better after themselvese as they left aliminum shavings in the yard.

I am interested in a new CertainTeed Landmark Pro shingle to use on my new roof installation. I saw Stan's You Tube video on a roofing project which highlighted the Landmark Pro. Even though I live in Maryland and Stan's Roofing is in Illinois,I called Stan's and asked if I could talk to them about their You Tube project. Kevin (the owner's son) called me back and was very happy to discuss his experience with the project. I must say that Kevin was extremely nice and helpful to me, even though he knew he was talking to someone outside of his service area. I found Kevin to be an honest person, who is intent on quality. I was very impressed and I think Kevin's attitude speaks volumes of his character. It was refreshing for me to have such a positive experience and if I lived in the Illinois area, I would call Stan's.

They were excellent.

Excellent service from the initial phone call and visit with estimate provided. Phone calls with questions returned promptly. Kevin provided a thorough explanation of the process and the product chosen. The work crew was punctual, polite, very professional with clean and efficient work site. They did a beautiful job and I couldn't have asked for better results or better service. Even when the power went out after a bad storm, they provided their own generator and continued working without a pause.

While my original grade was F, I'm going to give them a final grade of B, since they took the time and trouble to explain the lack of response. I felt they were genuinely sorry.

I never heard anything in response to my email. I could have phoned, but if they don't respond to an email generated from Angie's List, I really don't want to do business with them.

Outstanding workmanship. Two of my neighbors had similar experience with this company. Definitely would use again.

When they removed the old shingles, they found three areas that the plywood had suffered some damage because of water from upper level downspouts. They not only replaced the plywood, but also installed water & ice shield in these areas even though not required by code or shingle manufacturer. When working on a projection over the kitchen, they noticed the roof was a little weak. They removed the plywood and found that the builder had failed to put in one of the joists. They put in a joist. In all cases, they did not charge more than originally agreed.

They did a great job! I was very satisfied with the work.

Stan is a very personable, honest and straight forward man. He is very customer-service oriented. He came out and explained in detail what needed to be done and I agreed with him. The next day, the workers came and did the work which was done very nicely. This was a very positive experience.

I called Stan in the afternoon and he came by the following morning to inspect my siding and give me an estimate. Stan felt the flashing around the window was the problem and told me it could be fixed with caulk. His crew came out about a week later and re caulked the windows and flashing. I have not had any water leaks since. Stan Roofing and Siding did a great job! A pleasure to work with after going round in round with the builder's sub. Well worth the $125 to know the problem is fixed!!

LICENSED, BONDED AND INSURED. STAN BUMSTEAD IS A PROFESSIONAL FROM THE "OLD SCHOOL". HE INCLUDED DETAILS IN HIS WORK THAT INSTALLERS TODAY OVERLOOK, OR DON''T WANT TO BE BOTHERED WITH. HE HAS A GOOD REPOIRE WITH HIS EMPLOYEES, AND MAKES THEM CLEAN UP THE WORK SITE AT THE END OF EVERY DAY. HE EVEN WENT ALONG WITH MY PLAN TO HAVE 3 DOWNSPOUTS DRAIN INTO 3 RAIN BARRELS. EVEN THOUGH THE RAIN BARREL IDEA DID NOT WORK OUT AS ANTICIPATED, IT WAS THROUGH NO FAULT OF STAN''S.
