First he replace the switch to minimize the cost of the repair.   Once that was done, the pump ran, but did not pump, so he had to replace the pump itself.  All work was done in about an hour.

Amazing!  See above.  Just wish I had found them earlier when we re-did our kitchen.   If we ever get around to gutting our master bath we will use Keith to put it back together!

They were reasonably priced and did a good job.  They come out within a day of the call and work promptly.  I like their services and will use the same in future.

Excellent, highly-skilled plumber who was easy to work with.  He was able to handle all the problems that came his way that day and that is the differrence between a professional plumber and someone else.

  Keith quickly determined that a toilet in our unit was not properly installed by a previous owner and was leaking into the  bathroom celing of the unit below ours. He fixed it and then repaired the bathroom ceiling in the unit below. I was concerned that we would have to install dry wall, etc. Instead, Keith cut out a square of about 12 inches around the water damage in the ceiling, which was just above the shower head, and installed a plastic access panel  in white - the same color as the bathroom ceiling.  The owner of the unit  below was very pleased with the repair and my husband and I were also. Keith is very professional, personable and easy to work with.  We have used R & S before and will continue to do so.

Called R&S in the morning, hoping to make an appointment for later in the week.  He was busy later in the week, so he came in an hour (!).  Took the 6 boxes from Kohler with pieces to be installed and made sense of them, resulting in a beautiful shower to replace my leaky shower head.
    Also fixed toilet that was "running" and gave me advice on bathroom sink.

I called R & S on Saturday and indicated this was not an emergency.  Nevertheless, Jim called early Monday morning to discuss the repairs I wanted done and gave me a Noon to 2:00PM window.  I need to have an ejector pit cover replaced; mine was rusted out.  I also wanted to have a Grohe shower cartridge replaced.  Keith called to confirm in route around 12:20 and showed up at 12:35.  He performed all the work, within 2 hours, in a friendly and professional manner.  I am very satisfied with the quality of work and the professional demeanor Keith displayed.

They are very, very responsive.  They are also personable.  They came out on the same day.  They are great.  Keith is the one that usually does our work.  I feel like they are very honest.  They are appreciative of the business.  They are the only plumbers we'd use.

R&S came out and replaced the faucet.  Did the work fast and clean; very professional. Will have them out to replace our water heater when it's time. There is a reason you see all "A" on their Angie list reports.

He arrived exactly at the appointed time.  He has a very out going personality. His work was done in a very professional manner and was completed within his estimated time given over the phone.  He cleaned up after himself and left the bathroom in the same condition as he found it.  I was very happy with both his work and the fees he charged to complete his work.  I am planning on using his services again to complete a couple of other upcoming plumbing projects. I have no reservation recommending his services to you.

Jim was in and out within a couple of hours. The old water heater had to be brought upstairs thru 3 doorways and then out the front door. I have light beige carpet in my basement and stairs. He said he would try not to leak any rusty water, but it was a strong probability. Not a single drop of icky water was spilled. I don't know how 1 guy did that by himself. He took away all the garbage and old heater-- not even to leave it at my curb. He made sure I knew how to set the new heater for our usage and safety. The manual was attached to the unit so I always know where it is. All the pricing and labor details were discussed with me prior on the phone prior to Jim coming out. He answered all my questions so that I understood.

Everything was done professionally, competently and with good cheer. I like the fact that R & S charges by the hour, not the job, which is why it is a good idea to have several things done on a visit. Even if this is not possible, I wouldn't call any other company (very expensive experience with Bishop) and highly recommend R & S.

Keith did an excellent job. He was prompt, professional, and fast. The new pump and valve are 10x quieter then what we previously had. His brother Jim also provided very good advice over the phone before and after the job. Would definitely work with these guys again.

Our bathtub drain was leaking all over the downstairs, so Kieth replaced it with a new copper drain and installed our new pedestal sink. As always, he was courteous, professional, and very, very good at what he does. Thank you again!

I have had a lot of jobs done from them. They are the only plumbers I would use. They are actually two brothers. They are very honest and they work fast. They don't take any breaks and they get the job done. I was impressed to see him with a write up. They are an excellent company. They come out and does the job fast. They are reasonable with their price. They don't mind you watching them. There are some plumbers out there that will not follow the order which you need but when he comes out he does the work very well. He has all the parts brought and he does not have to run out for anything. I never have to worry about any problems and I have never had to call him back. Everything like the pipes and so forth has never leaked. I will give them the highest marks.

Jim promptly returned my call and was at my house at 8:00 the next morning. Previous owner left a rusted out grill on a post on our patio. I didn't want to touch it and wanted new nat gas connections for my Weber grill (it's free standing - no post - and uses a flexible nat gas hose with quick release). Jim quickly shut off the gas, cut the line near the house, installed the new connections and turned the gas back on. Since their service call fee of $149 includes 1 hour of service ($60 per half-hour after that), I also had him take a look at a plugged sillcock (garden faucet). The stopper had detached and was stuck deep in the pipe. It didn't dislodge easily and we agreed it would be smarter to just replace the sillcock with a higher quality model, rather than spend any more time/$$ to fix the plugged one. He didn't have any more sillcocks with him (and I didn't mention it on the phone initially), so he would have to come back later in the day. Before he left, he did give me a few pointers so I could keep trying to dislodge the stopper in the meantime (I like doing this stuff myself), but if I couldn't fix it he would gladly come back later in the day. It took me about a half-hour of tinkering, but I finally fixed it myself. This is my type of contractor - he does the stuff where expertise is needed, but doesn't hesitate to show me the things I can tackle myself.

After trying to replace a broken shower faucet ourselves, and after a reputable handyman said it was too big of a job for him, we called R&S Plumbing based on Angie's List recommendations and the handyman's recommendation. Keith quoted us the labor charge on the phone: $149 for the first hour. This was not an emergency, so we found a time that worked for him and us. When he arrived, he went to work, fixed the problem, suggested a fix for the toilet in the same room and took care of it within the same hour. Everything works perfectly. He was thoroughly professional, pleasant, and reasonable in every way. This is our new plumber, and we're happy to recommend R & S Plumbing to others.

Once again Keith and R&S Plumbing came to my rescue. I was running on battery back-up only when I called Keith at 9:00pm Sunday night. He told me he could be out by 7;30 the next morning, but he was really concerned abount how long my battery would last. So was I! He jumped into his truck and was at my house within 45 minutes, replaced the switch and I was back pumping. This was not the first time that Keith helped me out and I continue to find him personable, friendly, knowledgeable and the quality of his work is outstanding. When it comes to plumbing he's my first and only call. Keith quoted me an estimate over the phone which was quite reasonable for an emergency, weekend night service call. I strongly recommend R&S Plumbing.

They actually spent time on the phone and made suggestions on how I could fix it myself. We had scheduled an appointment, but their suggestion worked and I called back to cancel the appointment. They were great and really cared about me, their customer. I will definitely use them for any additional work!

We noticed that our ejector pump for the basement bath would not stop running so we unplugged it and called R&S. This was on a Saturday afternoon. We left a message for them to call us to make an appointment as soon as possible during normal business hours (i.e. we didn't need them to make an emergency call). Jim Durso called me back on Sunday and explained that they were booked full for Monday with sewer backup emergencies (no suprise due to all the melting snow) and he put us on for the first appointment on Tuesday. Keith called me on Tuesday with plenty of notice to let me know he was running a bit late (only 10-15 minutes - but a nice touch since most contractors would not be so respectful of your time) and arrived within that window. He immediately diagnosed the problem and recommended that since our pump was so old, we replace it with a new one. It was not what we were hoping to hear because of the cost but he explained the rationale and it made sense. He did the work thoroughly and cleaned up completely. We use them for all our plumbing needs and they have always been super responsive and done excellent work. They are not the cheapest plumbers you will find but they are the most responsive and the most reliable and I would not consider using anyone else. I gave them an A, even on pricing because I have not found any good plumbers to be cheap and you get what you pay for.

They cleaned up after themselves and they are very personable and clean. Their prices are reasonable. I trust them and we have used them in the past and they are the only plumber we have used since the first time we used them.
