Honest, fast, and exceptional service

Svilen was very responsive when I requested service, and able to come within 2 days to service a connection oven/microwave and dishwasher.

He contact me while en route, was on time, courteous, and respective of my home by taking care to cover surfaces he was working on.  

He was able to fix the microwave oven/convection, as well as my dishwasher which had a small issue I forgot to tell him about in advance.He thoroughly tested both appliances not just to make sure they worked, but to make sure I was personally satisfied with his work.

These two repairs took about 90 minutes, and the cost was $330 (all labor, no parts needed).

Finding quality, professional service professionals like Svilen is why I value Angie's List so much.   I had a great experience, will contact him without hesitation should any of my other appliances have an issue, and definitely recommend him to others. Very responsive...came out far more quickly than we expected...very professionable and knowledgable...nice guy too!
We bought our fridge a couple of years ago and had nothing but trouble with it and the factory warranty service came out
at least 5 or 6 times and replaced all kinds of parts but never fixed the fridge...so, when warranty ran out, we called Great Services and he came out and solved everything
right away...he really knows what he is doing and the fridge finally works like it should have from new...Highly recommended!!!

Service was quick and efficient. I used an Angie's List deal which only covered the labor and the part was an additional $85. I appreciated the quick response time and the machine has been working well since. Would use again for sure.

Svilen did an excellent job!!! Very courteous, prompt, and efficient.  I wish we had called this company earlier....as we had a lot of problems with the appliance repair company we dealt with in the past.  Svilen answered our call, was able to come in the same day, and quickly replaced the part that was defective.  I whole heartedly recommend this company and would call them again.

The service owner was prompt and had taken the time to find out ahead of time by phone what we thought the problem was. When he arrived, he checked all the potential issues that could be causing the ice maker not to function, including water pressure in the house, etc. and then he replaced the motor. He returned a second time, because he called and told us that he had been thinking about another issue that might be interfering with the ice maker and the freezer itself, besides repairing what we had asked him to do, and at no additional charge came out again and adjusted the setting for the temperature in the freezer. It all works fine now. We were so impressed with his technical knowledge and his outstanding customer service. It was a problem he wanted to solve for us, not only to our complete satisfaction but to his. He is at the top of the list of service providers that we have had over the years.            

We had a great experience with GSR.  We had smelled gas yesterday afternoon.  After Nicor came out to inspect.  Nicor recommended we have our dryer inspected just to make sure everything was running okay.  I contacted GSR shortly after business hours.  I was surprised he answered the phone.  He said he could come the next day between 10-12.  He called 20 mins before arriving around 11ish.  Prompt, professional and polite.  He inspected the gas dryer and offer to inspect the gas stove.  It was a positive experience.

I purchased a $99 Big Deal for a Large Appliance Repair.  I spoke to the owner about my 11 year old front-loading washing machine and he agreed to come the following business day. He gave me a time frame and then called the day of service to let me know he was on the way.  Since I had done some of my own research, the owner was able to bring the recommended part with him.  Once the box was opened, the owner noticed that the seal had an extra opening in it.  While it shouldn't impact the performance, he asked if I would be home while he went back to the parts supplier to exchange it.  He returned and completed the job.  
Since I was working from home, I had to start a conference call about the same time he was wrapping up the service.  He understood the need to be quiet and wrote down a note for me to call him when the washing machine cycle ended.  During that time, he contacted the manufacturer for my washer to verify the repair.  He was very concerned that the service be completed to my satisfaction and shared the feedback from the manufacturer.  I would absolutely hire Great Services & Repair Appliances for future repair needs.

When the main start switch on my clothes dryer broke I needed to have it fixed quickly.
I called G.S.R. Appliance Repair to schedule the service. After talking to the technician
about what is broken and my dryer's model number, I was given a same day appointment.
The service technician came right on time and soon after determined that the switch
was not broken, but that the switch mount was broken. He quickly fixed the mount
and re-installed the start switch and my dryer was working again. The whole repair
went very smoothly and only took about a half an hour. I am very pleased with the
service and will use this company for future repairs.

Things went smooth. I was contacted about an hour after I purchased a deal for $99 large appliance repair. We set up an appointment for two days out. I was called when they were on their way and he showed up on time. Made necessary repairs and I was charged an addition $49 for parts. Dryer working fine now...would definitely use again

Everything seems to be functioning properly now.

We order a service check and cleaning service for my washer and dryer. When we 1st talked to him I explained I had a part that needed to be replaced if he could do it. He said that If I bought the part he would install it. So we said OK that wasn't a problem. When we ordered the service we requested a morning service time because our afternoons are very busy. When he called we talked to him on the phone the 1st day we explained this to him.  He came to my house after saying he would call 20 minutes prior to his arrival. No one was home it was 3:30 in the afternoon. He called my phone 5 times yelling and leaving rude messages. 21/2 weeks later when the part came in he was called to come out and do the service check and cleaning plus install the part. I knew that there could be a possible addition charge for the part installation that wasn't the problem. He was in and out of my house in 5 minutes flat. NO SERVICE CHECK OR CLEANING. So I paid this man $150.00 to unplug a knob control panel and plug in the new one. Horrible service and customer service.  Would never use him or his company again ever. 

My refrigerator stopped working although the freezer continued to work.  I called to schedule a service call about 11:30 am.   While on the phone I was asked some questions.  Then I was given the potential problems and the costs to repair each of them.  This was really very handy to know in advance.  I was told that they could be at my home later in the afternoon. I received a call about 4:30 that he was on the way.  After he got to my house he went to work on the refrigerator and then showed when he found and what needed to be done.
I am very happy with the professionalism, the discussion of possible issues and costs in advance and esp promptness in coming out.  Oh yes and the follow up call the next day to make sure everything was OK and if I was satisfied.
I would like to add that I called the store where the refrigerator was purchased.  They would not schedule an appointment for 4 days.  I also called another company I had used in the past.  They would not schedule for over a week!  (I found both of these hard to believe since it is very hard to live without a working refrigerator.)  That is when I turned to Angie's list and found GSR.  I will be calling GSR for all of my future appliance repairs going forward!

great! very quick response, fixed the problem, was very nice. only reason for B is they didn't offer a service ticket or receipt.

He took the machine apart quickly (he knew what he was doing), and was able to find the problem and fix it quickly!
